Chapter Eleven: Via La Resistance, Part One

The ship drove forward, its thrusters slowing down as its internal inertial dampeners activating as it approached the large ship hidden in the darkness of space. Looking forward through the darkness the resistance ship looked and waited for the signal.

"Ok, park in here." Ephraim said as he turned back and looked through the window and tried to see the space ship behind them. The destroyer class ship stood horrifyingly massive behind them, as the line from between them staying stealthy and being discovered was slowly sinking.

"It's okay; I can control how fast we're going. You're not exactly the best driver in this ship too." Basil said as he looked backwards and tried to control how fast they were approaching the airlock. It was easy all they had to do was take over the destroyer and all would be in place.

Picking up the throttle, he attached the manifold and activated the automatic parking system. Basil stood up and approached the ramp as the back of the ship opened and the airlock attached itself to the ship. And surely with an open airlock that wasn't sucking them out they would be quickly discovered.

Basil put out his wings and flapped surely spreading the dust outside of the ship and alerting the guards on the other side. He walked forward and put his hands up in the air preparing to combat the people in the ship. Ephraim said as he joined Basil in the take over the ship.

"Well then let's see how much Deacon likes this." Ephraim said as Basil stepped his foot outside of the airlock. Basil searched around trying to find where the alarms would go off where they go off and where the shooting guards were going to start. Basil looked around there was one supervising the transfer of materials with a robot.

Basil quickly ran forward as he put his hands forward and ran at the guard. The guard quickly turned around and raised his hand and Basil looked forward, the guard could see what happened. The guard was knocked against the wall, as Basil approached him and raised him up into the air. Basil quickly struck him in the chest and knocked him out, his energy killing him.

Looking down, Basil grabbed a set of keys on the guard's body and pulled them away. Ephraim smiled as he was thrown a set of keys, they looked at where the robots were going. He walked forward and the two walked into the hallway where the robots were going. They walked through the hallways hugging the walls as they tried to avoid being discovered.

"Ok, we should go to the top level and then we can take out deacon, we get the soldiers to trust us and then everything can go out, we return to the surface of Terraona Prime." Ephraim said as he pointed to the set of stairs that would surely bring them closer to the Grand Asher and they would act from there.

"Why do always assume that quickest plan is the greatest, we need to hack into the system. Mike gave us a system key in case we needed it, but maybe we can gain control of the system and then give a show to Grand Asher Deacon, show him why with a show of a doubt that we are moving upwards." Basil said as he looked forward and saw what seemed to be a bundle of wires traveling forward on the roof and surely towards some sort of data center.

"Well then Sir; let's go let's show him why we're non-stop." Ephraim said as he ran walked forwarding looking for any guards. Stopping at an intersection both looking either way for guards and the two stood against the wall as a pair of guards traveled past them.

Basil nodded and they walked forward following the wires and they found themselves in the center of a data center. Large bundles of data holding crystals being held in a cooling room where they could be safety kept. The red, green and orange crystals all glowed becoming darker along the scale as they became fuller.

"Now then let's go were running out of time." Basil smiled as he looked at the data for manipulation. Cracking his hands he touched the keypad of the data center. The crystals all glowed as their information was accessed. The screen came up and they had complete access to the system.

"Go into the system, look around try to find the information for all the soldiers routes, as well as emergency planning rooms." Ephraim said as he looked through the labels on the crystals, seeing if taking any mass bundles of information would be worth their time. Basil typed on the keypad, finding a map of the layers of the ship with multiple lines.

"Good idea, I wouldn't have thought of this but you have so many ideas and no wonder Matthew wants to choose you as his Head General of the State, foreign negotiation and controlling the governors of the state." Basil said as he downloaded the information into the access pass and saw Ephraim open the door and pulled out a tiny red crystal and placed it in his storage compartment.

"I was chosen to be the Head General of State." Ephraim said gleefully smiling as he grabbed another crystal and their information labels and all placed them into his pocket. Basil smiled seeing his joy and looked out of the door. He walked forward and looked out both ways as he checked if any more guards were coming.

"Now then, we have information on troop movements as well as placement of the floating cities; we can accurately tell where President Asher and his city will be located." Ephraim said as he closed and locked his storage. Basil smiled knowing that they were gaining information that would have been missed.

"Good, now then let's not throw away our shot. We're strong, hungry and scrappy, we need to act this is what needs to happen. We need to take out the last of the major Grand Ashers and gain control of this vessel." Basil nodded at Ephraim and they walked out into the hallway, suddenly a shot flied past his head and Basil quickly threw a shot taking out a solider. And then that was when he felt a gun barrel on his back behind him.

"Well I'd be a shark's uncle." Basil said as he felt the scales of Grand Asher Deacon touch his back. Basil smiled as he stood back and looked at the Grand Asher and his army behind him. There was about twenty-five guns all pointing at his head and he knew they all on the trigger ready to blast off his head and destroy him.

"No you a shark dragon, a Shargon if you will, but I always known that. I've always been jealous that Grand Asher Drake got control of you and it would be my honor to take control of you. Trust me all of them might want to shoot you heads off on my order but they are willing to work under you." Grand Asher said as he grabbed Basil's hand and pulled him into the glass layered dome of the head station seemingly easily.

Ephraim looked confused as he was pulled up along with Basil into the bridge of the destroyer class ship. He never met Grand Asher Deacon, but he could tell that he was dealing with a much more stylized general. Ephraim looked around and a table was set up in the center.

"Now then, why do we have to warlike, but today, well today we can be all peace like. Please do join us here and maybe we can agree on some subject." Grand Asher Deacon said as he sat down on his wooden chair and pulled up to the wooden table. A guard poured a cup of tea and the Grand Asher sipped it and enjoyed it warmth.

"Now do you know why they call me the most effective of all of the Grand Ashers?" The Grand Asher said as he placed his tea cup down on the table and smiled. Basil was about to open his mouth, before the lizard took over again in the conversation. "We might not have brute force, but we get into the enemies eyes and we can see their story and we know who and what they are."

"It has been said that you have the greatest planning but the worst weapons, we all know your story." Basil said as he looked at the tea cup before him. Ephraim was surrounded by guns and even an idiot like him could figure out that he was leverage in this conversation.

"No it's not simply that on why we have the most effective army it is because, of our reputation. My troopers are given their own custom armor and trained in plans and improvising as well as understanding people." Grand Asher Deacon said as he at a tiny bread dessert. Basil wished he could have been controlled by this trooper, he heard of everything they did.

"We understand what make people tick, we see how they act and I know what you want, what Ephraim wants, and what Matthew wants. And we aren't that much under President Asher." Grand Asher Deacon said as he took another sip of tea, he looked at Basil as he picked up his tea cup and sipped. He laughed and Basil put down the cup. Surely that was Pesto reacting to his laugh.

"Well then surely you want to give this destroyer and her troopers to us, but what is your price?" Basil said as he regained his composure and sat back down, spreading his arms and preparing himself for whatever kind of deal that Grand Asher Deacon would pull on him. The Grand Asher smiled as he laid back in his wooden chair, balancing against the table as he looked over to Ephraim who was nervously twitting his fingers.

"Ok, Ephraim, control yourself you're not on the table here." Grand Asher Deacon said as he turned over to the hybridtrooper and smiled. Ephraim quickly noticed that the Deacon was taking notice of him and stopped leaning back against the wall as he tried to get comfortable. "Whoa, be careful there you don't want to defuse already."

"Wait how do you know his name and that he refused, we didn't say that." Benji said as he looked at Grand Asher Deacon, who only smiled and took another sip of the table.

"Listen, I said before, we know people. Maybe we know where you were coming from, or that we have heart beat sensors, also Ephraim changed closes, has a crown of horns and is acting different as well as just monitoring President Asher's communications. Trust me and you should, as I generally don't lie when I say we knew you were coming here." Grand Asher Deacon said as he pulled out a hologram generator from his pocket and slid them on to his table.

A hologram formed above them, a model of the ship in the air. Benji smiled it was now time for them to decide on what the deal was. He looked at the Grand Asher's ship, it seemed to be the same kind of destroyer class except more angular more curved. It had underside engines, perfect for landing on planets if you knew where to land.

"Well then, what do you think? Oh wait, I already do. You want this ship, you want this ship bad. And trust me we can agree on deal that will allow you to gain this ship, for you precious king's armory and all her troopers." The Grand Asher said as he turned off the hologram projector and pulled it back into his grip.

"Well you seem to be talking about this deal a lot, but I haven't exactly heard much about it. Let's get down to business, to defeating the Asher, what do you want for this ship. Do you want an item or a promise, do you want to be a part of the new government..."

"Ah yes, that is exactly what I want. I want to be head advisor to your silly little president. Or second head advisor, I can see that someone else is excepting that position, it's okay I can always deal with being second. Grand Asher Drake always seemed to think that he first, so I let him think that. Allowing people to think they're better is infinitely better than admitting it, play with people's ego." Grand Asher Deacon said as he laughed a bit, before reaching down and grabbing a piece of the tiny desert pieces from the table.

"Well I'm sure that is not a problem, Matthew will be notified and a place at King Piecewise's..." Basil said before he was interrupted again.

"Now do you know why they let people choose their names as Grand Asher's, it's all about ego. Do you think that Drake's and Yu's name are really as such, but that feeling that you chose your own name instead of a parent or a doctor, is far more powerful than an army." Grand Asher Deacon said as he munched down on the pastry piece and swallowed it down as he was talking.

"And then tell me, why did you choose Deacon?" Basil said as he got the attention of the Grand Asher.

"Ah see now you are thinking, I choose Deacon because on Terraona Prime I was a deacon. It's simple, but why do you think you four choose your names when you were freed or inversely why President Asher made sure that you were codenames, only numbers chosen by him." Grand Asher Deacon said as he smiled, his tail swinging in satisfaction from behind his body.

"Well then I believe you have it as a duty to let me go from all these men pointing their guns at me." Ephraim said as he got a sigh from Grand Asher Deacon. The soldiers all pulled their guns up into the air and the Dragon Komodo walked away from the guns and looked at Basil who seemingly had just given them the army they needed.

"Oh please come on do not be so coy with your words, you have an extending vernacular." Grand Asher Deacon said as he snapped his fingers and the soldiers placed their guns down. "Now then onto the easy problem; making President Asher think that we have been properly destroyed.

"And how exactly are you going to do that?" Ephraim asked as he walked over and looked at the soldiers moving around seemingly all acting like the ship was going to be destroyed, running around and doing multiple things. "You aren't going to annihilate the ship exactly?"

"Oh please, President Asher doesn't know jack shit about space. Ok, now men activate all of the fire alarm signals, cut off communications and shut down the secret transponder he thinks we don't know about." The Grand Asher said as the alarms that lined the ship, started to flash red for a second before the alarms sounded.

"Now then on to tricking, it will be easy fooling the supposedly smart and genius President Asher." Grand Asher Deacon said as he walked over to the chair and sat down. "Now than when I say action, check the video and shut down the signals, on my mark and action."

"President Asher, I'm so sorry. I've failed you, I can only hope that you forgive me in the afterlife, but they've come and they're destroying the ship, they've gotten into the data banks. I'm going to set the ship into self-destruction, as my last order, please forgive me." Grand Asher Deacon said as he snapped his fingers and the signals were sent, the entire ship stopped, seemingly shut down and powerless. They floated like that for a few seconds and the ship's system came on line.

...

"President Asher I'm sorry to say this, but Grand Asher Deacon's ship has been destroyed, in a seemingly act of self-destruction, we've lost all signal." The president's assistant said as she handed President Asher the paper "confirming" the destruction of the ship.

"Oh, well then what do we know about the secret transponder?" President Asher said as his assistant pointed to the lost signal of the secret transponder. The President looked at the series of signals and was ashamed to see that one of his prized ships was destroyed, but it seemed that maybe some of the Resistance fighters were taken out.

"Well then name a street after him; tell the public about it in two days but the rest and the usual." President Asher said as he showed off his assistant to the door and continued on his daily ritual of doing nothing of consequence continued as he drank the water on his desk and continued off looking on his tablet.

...

"And we're a success, we got the search and failure radar ping, now then men consider us pirates of the space world. And now Captain Basil is our Captain, now then were too are we going?" Grand Asher Deacon said as he moved out of the seat and allowed Basil to sit down in the chair. Basil smiled as he looked at Ephraim who gave him a look.

"Well then, bring us into a landing. You know where Matthew has the temporary resistance base don't you?" Basil said as he adjusted his coat and sat down on the chair smiling. As much as he would have loved to be a space pirate, he had his loyalties to Matthew and knew that he had to obey them. The ship turned as coordinates were entered into the system.

The ship shifted as the system picked out its re-entry path and they passed through the atmosphere. Above them Basil looked amazing as he saw the fire of the atmospheric re-entry go over the ship and looking at the deacon he laughed a bit. They had an army behind them and everything was pushing him towards an attack. He was returning to Terraona Prime, and this time the prodigal son was coming home.

...

Matthew looked above Basil and Ephraim were coming back to Terra Prime, a massive destroyer class ship landing on the ground. Large landing legs were suspended and six downwards engines activated on the ship. It turned the sand below it molten as it attempted to land. The ship touched down on one of its legs testing the sand and then slowly dumped the rest of its legs into the sand.

A ramp was extended out and Matthew hoped that Basil had succeeded in convincing a group to join them. And then he appeared, the shark walked out on the ramp followed by Ephraim and then a strange looking lizard. Then followed by an army of Primetroopers all in what looked like personalized armor.

"Now didn't I say I would get you an army worthy of a king!" Basil said excitedly as he walked out and the two met again. Matthew laughed looking at the ship they got, it was massive. And the army, they had at least one hundred and fifty highly trained troopers.

"Now then your king, I pledge my loyalty to you." The Grand Asher said as he stepped off the ramp and bowed, doing the ceremonial arm to chest thing and then of course standing up and extending his hand. Matthew knew that if this was man who was providing his army he needed to shake his hand. "I am Formal Grand Asher Deacon."

"Now then don't ask how we got this or where we got this but this ship is for you and trust me we are going to use this baby." Ephraim said as he leaned against the landing leg and knocked it. Matthew smiled as he looked at what he did, he assembled an army all willing to fight and die for him maybe there was hope for his old kingdom after all.

"Well then come into the war room, we need to have a talk." Matthew said as he summoned two of his best fighters. "Grand Asher Deacon train your soldiers, make sure they know what is happening and make sure that they know who and what they are fighting for."

"It will be done my king." Grand Asher Deacon said as he bowed down and smiled, Matthew could only nod as he pulled Ephraim and Basil over to a tent they had set up. Entering a large map of Terraona Alpha had been laid out, it was one of the newest ones, Acropolis and her large white pillars included on the map.

A line made of push pins connected by strings was run along the border documenting where they landed and there long and hot journey across the equator. After that the points where strung from town to town and documented their shorter and less successful journey up north.

And the next push pin was where they currently where, a large carter, with large over-looking edges, that placed them in shadows at a near constant and one that would be hard to traverse. No one in the days that they were in the carter had found them, and no satellite had managed to capture a photo of them.

"Now then we have a few options on which journey to take up to the north, we could take the quickest path and get there in an hour and avoid detection by going alarmingly fast or we can take a route, covered in shade and slowly move for up to two days." Matthew said as he showed them the routes covered out in push pin on the map, Basil took a look at the map and tried to think of what they would do.

"And thus we return to this long winded argument, quickly or slowly. Now then do we want the element of surprise or do we want to risk that in order to quickly achieve our goals." Basil said he didn't want another Acropolis situation again, god-forbid he had to defuse as well.

"I not sure, we have a lot of troopers maybe we can send some out to additional towns and make sure that the Primetroopers don't take the town's hostage, be extra careful in case." Ephraim said as he pointed to the multiple towns that were scattered across Terra Nova.

Wallace and Mike were sat down in the corner of the room working out math on the paths as well as recording ideas. The two stood silent as they typed on a typewriter. Basil stood silent as he thought the typewriter sound providing him an idea.

"We need to attack Terraona Prime as well." Basil said as he thought of his newest idea. Everyone turned towards him giving him both a look of confusion and horror wondering what the hell had gotten into Basil's head, even Wallace and Mike stopped typing.

"Matthew you in the seat of Terraona Alpha will be our propaganda, but we need to change more. We need to change the entire solar system and this will include Terraona Prime." Basil said as he tried to explain his plan, normally such foolish talk would be laughed off but Matthew was beginning to realize Basil was serious.

"Wait you mean that you seriously mean that don't you, oh god you're completely serious. Well then Basil; let's explain something about acceptable targets. Terraona Prime is massive; they have the greatest army on this side of the solar system." Matthew hoped that acting as boaster for President Asher might convince Basil not to be completely bonkers.

"I think it is doable, we have a massive destroyer class ship and an untouched armory orbiting around, if we take 3/5's of this army and a few of the ships; I think we can do this. If we focus on only Terraona Prime's capital and the occupy it." Basil said as he reached into Ephraim's containment pocket and pulled out the crystals.

"Wait those are information crystals, those could have bounds of information on the armies of both worlds." Mike said as he noticed the crystals in Basil's hand and ran up to him seemingly trying to grab them out of his hand and take them from his own.

"Exactly, now then if we can get the location and see how many troopers will be in the city, then it might just be possible. Yet this is a risk we need to take, and here you go buddy and all the more on the ship." Basil said as he tried to defend his idea, and then handed the crystals to Mike. He excitedly moved the typewriter over and started to tinker with them.

"Ok, even so we need to get rid of President Asher. He has too much power and we need to deal with this, the propaganda and influence we will get from regaining and empire as a resistance will be something we shouldn't squander and this is why we have to act." Basil said as he looked at Matthew who was considering what they would do.

"It's simple you, Wallace and Ephraim go north to the capital in a few ships and sand crawlers up the sneaky path and then we go on the destroyer and we regain your empire sound like a plan." Basil said as he tried to give his last bit of effort and convince Matthew that his plan was the way to go. And he hoped everyone else would agree with that.

"Fine then, I think that's a good plan." Matthew said as he took a breath and considered Basil plan. It was simple, and maybe it could work, just maybe. And what was the point if they didn't take any risks. So maybe Basil would be right for the job. Everyone looked at him and he nodded they could only nod back in agreement with him.

"Well then give me twenty four hours to decode the information with in these crystals and I give you the best course of action to follow through." Mike said as he started to attach a screen to the crystals and attached them to some sort of holder. They sparked and information appeared on the screen for a second. "I'll work out the bugs quickly."

Matthew looked out and the soldiers started to move, helping the few resistance members they had with guns and moving products. Work spread quickly through out the army and they were preparing for a full out war or battle with the empire of Terraona Prime. Yet none of them looked worried, they all believed in their king.

And Matthew turned back he needed to believe in himself, that he was doing this; that he wasn't being waved around like some piece of propaganda. Basil and Ephraim didn't cause this, nor did a slightly crazy Grand Asher, they were only his warriors, he needed to take up aim in battle and prove to himself that he was needed. Or looking back at Basil, he needed to prove to himself that he was wanted.

...

"Basil, do you think we could talk?" Matthew asked as he stood in his tent. The shark walked in and closed the door, shielding them from the sand and the sun outside. For being a royal tent, it was obvious that Matthew took a less royal approach to decoration, as it only a brown tarp and a few poles holding up the tarp.

A desk with papers scattered over and indicating that he was writing stood in the corner with parts of it holding down the tent edge. A carpet was laid over the ground, as with every other single tent and there was a tiny bed frame. The only thing of worth was his crown placed on a pedestal. It was held with in a containment unit and there were a few weapons that they gathered.

"Sure my king what do you thing we can talk about, are you wishing to hear my plan to attack Terraona Prime?" Basil said as he walked in and looked at the crown. He looked at Matthew who was dressed in his royal armor, the whole red armor with large solider pads placed on his body.

"I've been trying this one for a while, and it means a lot for what you've been doing to me, but I wouldn't have come with you if for one time." Matthew said as he took a breath and took off his solider pads revealing the normal red and grey body suit underneath the armor.

"Well, what would that be?" Basil said as he walked in wondering what they were going to be talking about until for a second the truth hit his mind, but he tucked it away it wouldn't be that. Matthew turned away from him and took some breaths; Basil realized that he was being nervous. "Are you ok my king?"

"You see I admitted to myself, when all of the adventuring ending that I loved traveling with you and I hate that it's ending but that's not very fair to my citizens and either way, I loved traveling you but because I loved being with you." Matthews said as he turned around and Basil realized that he did figure out what Matthew was talking about, Basil backed up as he didn't want the king to do anything stupid.

"What are you talking about my king?" Basil said being coy and backing up, he didn't want to have to let Matthew down right before the big battle, he didn't want this to happen. He didn't want to destroy Matthew right before his biggest battle.

"Basil, I love you; I love being around you, I love being with you and I don't ever want that to end and trust me I need you Basil." Matthew said as Basil backed up against the tarp wall and stopped. Matthew approached remaining obvious to Basil's apprehensiveness. Matthew simple laughed as he placed himself in front of Basil and grabbed his shoulders.

Matthew pulled Basil forward and started to kiss him, Basil looked horrified that this was happening. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen, this wasn't how everything would end up. And then Matthew pushed him away, he looked disappointed and saddened. There was no spark, hell it wasn't even flint and steel.

"Matthew I'm sorry, I'm so sorry but I'm just a shell, I just do what they say and I keep everything in order. I don't feel emotions, they do; and both of them are already in love with each other." Basil said as he closed his eyes and held on to his fusion necklace. Matthew looked at him like he was crazy.

"What the hell is that supposed to me, after all this time leading me on, trying to save me and living with a near devotion to me, you say you don't feel love. What the hell is that supposed to mean!" Matthew said ashamed that he let his entire feelings for Basil control him and possibly let Basil control him too.

"Matthew it's not like that, Cilantro and Pesto they both like you as friends and I like you as a friend too, but like my powers my feelings are multiplied as well, I just come off really eccentric and friendship just appears like I adore you and you can take that like you want." Basil said as he tried to explain where he was coming from as an empty shell only controlled by two idiots inside of him.

"So what can't we be love, Pesto and Cilantro are fused; you said that they are neither you nor that you are your own person, so you can love me." Matthew said as Basil realized that Matthew was starting to beg and starting to deny and that he would eventually get over. He was only grieving the death of his love.

"I'm sorry Matthew, but somethings don't work like that and one day you will understand and you will be able to get over me." Basil said as he backed up and tried to get away from Matthew, this was his time to deal with what he need and right now Matthew needed to be alone to work out his feelings.

Basil backed out, he could understand where Matthew was coming from but they would never work out. For him it was about Pesto and Cilantro, he didn't go rouge and decide to free the king. That was Pesto and Cilantro deciding to. He was the executive branch to their Supreme Court and Congress, he only enforced the laws.

He stepped out and crowd had built up around his tent, Grand Asher Deacon, Mike and Wallace were all standing there and they all gave him a look, Basil knew that he was in trouble. Wallace walked into the tent while Deacon walked up to him and he had the look like he was going to punch a bitch.

"Ok, let's talk about this even if you can't feel for anyone, even if you were made up of two people already in love with each other do I have to tell you the stupidity of forcing the King to confront his feelings on one of his most stressful day, do I really!" Grand Asher Deacon silently yelled at Basil, as suddenly both Pesto and Cilantro realized they might be doing more damage and being a bit selfish.

"I don't want to lie to him, if he figures that out, then he might be even more hurt and still he didn't feel any passion from me, I don't know any passion." Basil said as he tried to think of a way to work himself out of this situation. Grand Asher Deacon could only make a fake nodded and turned him back towards the tent.

"Even if you don't love him, show him who you truly are. Make sure he knows that Pesto and Cilantro love each other, and that you are only an avatar created by the fusion stone." The Grand Asher said as he pushed Basil back into the tent and he hoped that would work as he saw the light of defusion inside.

...

And thus the day after, orbital plans were loaded into the computers of the ships and the soldiers as well as the rebels were on highest alert as the Sand Crawlers arrived and they prepared the ships for their orbital journey. Basil hoped that he could at least get a make-up good-bye from Matthew, this was his and Mike's plan.

Ephraim and Matthew would travel north and the soldiers would travel in the Destroyer ship with Deacon. It was all settled and as Basil put himself in the orbital Vertibird, he looked back at Mike who nodded at him, the Terraona Prime invasion was a good to go.

Basil looked forward one last time and as the orbital engines started and the ship started to hover of the ground, Basil plugged his manifold into the ship and prepared to close the doors. He stood still and looked back at the soldiers who were nervously twiddling their fingers.

"Basil, I'm sorry I shouldn't have reacted like that, I'm sorry!" Matthew said, they were hovering over the crowd, him and Ephraim stood both near the waving good bye. Matthew had tears in his eyes and knew this could possibly be the last they would see from each other.

"Don't sweat it, we'll meet up again and we'll figure all this out, but don't give up on the mission yet, become the King you were meant to be, be the king that your father could only dream of being!" Basil said as he heard the engines next to him, start to increase they were past the point of no return. .

"Basil I love you!" Matthew screamed as the ship started to take off, there was no return from this.

"I know." Basil said as the Vertibird engine started to take off and with that they flew into the air and towards orbit. The destroyer took off and the group flew off into the sky. Matthew sighed and knew that maybe this would work.
