1. He was dying. He was one of the last few on the planet who the virus that attacked him from within. From his bed, the Dalmatian lied there, unable to cope with the fact that he was slowly deteriorating. On the wall hung some drawings. A couple were of his parents, at least what he could remember of them. They flash in his memory from time to time. But he can never remember who they were. Jesper was his name. A name that wasn't always the greatest. All the time, he hears people call him Jasper. Yet the truth is, there was never an "a" in his name. It has always been a pet peeve of his. At least, that's what his caretaker, Ava Darling always told him. She was a bright orange vixen with bright green eyes. She has been there by Jesper's side since he was a pup. She was there to see his birth. "I've always been a friend of your dad's," she said all the time. "It was a shame to see him pass away." She worked as a nurse. She saved lives. Jesper liked to think of it that way. If only she could save his. Some early signs of HIV include flu-like symptoms. Jesper started to notice that over a month ago when he contracted the virus. He passed it off, thinking it was nothing. But he had to go to the hospital days later after a large stomach cramp. He didn't take the news well. He sat in his room for sixty hours weeping into his pillow. Ava was there by his side. She always cared about him and helped him. "No matter how bad this gets, you're gonna fight this, kid," she said at the time. "I know it." She started giving him the meds to help fight the virus off, but Jesper knew it was incurable. He was slowly dying and there was nothing he could do. So as he laid in his bed, looking up at the ceiling where new drawings were hung up, he heard a frantic knock on the door. Probably just some cranky neighbor again, he thought to himself. At least, until he heard the sound of a crash. He sat up in bed, unsure of whether he should go downstairs to investigate. He decided to go for it. Just as the Dalmatian got onto his feet, he hears the sound of thumping up the stairs. Two sets of footsteps? No, three. Three sets.             His door was thrown open, taking him aback and knocking him down onto his mattress. A wolf and a fox (judging by their tails) came in, dressed in hazmat suits; a child's nightmare. "Mr. Jesper Henning," the wolf spoke. "We need you to come with us."             They didn't give him time to talk. They reached out and grabbed him by the arms. He struggled to get free. No. No! Jesper threw his elbow back, nailing the lupine right in the gut. He swung his fist into the fox's shield of glass covering his face. Both fell onto the floor. He saw his moment and dashed out of the room, towards the stairs.             Before he could even go down halfway, Ava was racing up to meet him halfway. She grasped him by the shoulders, shaking the scared Dalmatian. "Ava, what's going on?" Jesper asked. His breathing had quickened, his heart was racing and on fire. "I thought they weren't going to be doing that until-"             "Relax, Jesper," Ava said calmly, snapping him out of it. "You're not being experimented on. They only wore those suits for caution." She then leaned forward, her wet nose tickling his black ear. Her voice lowered to a whisper. "You're being sent underground. All of you."             That's when a dart knocked him out.

When he came to, he was cold, wet, and shivering with fear. His was afraid to open his eyes. The men in suits could have been there; wherever he was. You're being sent underground. That was the last thing he heard. But, why? Why was he being forced into it? And why all of a sudden?             Jesper counted to 100 and then opened his eyes. The room was dimly lit. The walls were a little slimy and the floor was covered in water. In the center of the room was a silver circle with three holes in it. A shower. He was in a shower. His fur was wet, making a squishing sound as he rose to his feet slowly as if a dart would come back and knock him out again.             A towel rested around his waist, covering him halfway. His arm felt heavy. A quick glance downwards revealed that he was bearing a metallic bracelet on his right wrist. It showed only a number. 1. What does that mean?             The Dalmatian then heard a click then a whirrr. The right wall opened up to reveal a brighter room. He shielded his eyes until they adjusted. Inside, hung on a couple hooks, were some new clothes. Jesper slipped them on. A black T-shirt with dark-colored jeans and steeled-toes brown boots. They weren't really his favorite colors but he admitted to himself that they looked good with his spots. Sitting on a shelf next to it was a sealed envelope. He grabbed it, tearing it open with his index finger. Inside was a note. Everything will be explained. Stay safe. A. Taped to the back was the unmistakable red plastic cover of a durex condom. What is going on? Another door slid open. Inside came strolling a black wolf in a lab coat. Before Jesper could bombard him with questions, he said, "Mr. Henning, I'm Dr. Drew." Suddenly, it felt like everything was coming too much at the same time. The note was from Ava, obviously, and she knew where he was. And this wolf might be in association with her. "Welcome to the Bunker."

Drew led Jesper through a series of hallways. It was mostly dark with the occasional lightbulb from the ceiling lighting the way. The Bunker. That's where Drew said he was. But what exactly does that mean? The only thing that kept Jesper moving was his curiosity. Though he wasn't a cat, he was sure that something any moment might kill him before the virus did. To hell with sayings, he thought. He stopped in his tracks. "What is going on here? Why are you doing this to me?" Drew stopped as well before turning around. "I will explain everything," he said with that smile of his. That seemingly innocent smile. What Jesper wouldn't give to punch it off of him. In most movie moments, this was where the bad guy kept going before talking. This was no movie. "This is the Bunker, a secret underground city for people like you." "People like me?" Jesper asked. "Those who contracted the HIV virus," Drew explained. All he wanted to do was hurt him more, but he let the doc continue. "Over a hundred years ago, the United States had over 26 million patients with AIDS. However, last year, there were only 26 thousand. The virus is slowly dying, but we're fighting against it with all we have. So, the government issued an order to take care of the last-" "You're going to kill us," Jesper finished. His chest was stabbed with fear. Drew shook his head. "No. The best way to kill of HIV is to round up everyone who has it and keep them together. While it can't spread, we work with them and try our hardest to find a cure once and for all." Jesper didn't like this guy. There was something he was keeping from him. But what? Instead of pulling him forward, Drew stepped forward towards him and handed him a small plastic card. "This is your ID down here. Whatever you do, do not lose it. That would be bad for not only us, but for you as well." The Dalmatian took it. It was the size of a credit card, only it has his face on it with the name Jesper Henning on it with an ID number. One that he certainly could never memorize. "Now, if you follow me, I'll show you the Common Area where the others are." Drew resumed walking down the hall. Jesper could only follow. He didn't know his way around the place. If he tried to escape, then he would be lost within two seconds. Noise started to fill his ears. It was faint at first, almost like a hallucination, but then it gradually grew louder the more steps he took. Drew turned left and motioned his paw for Jesper to enter the room. Inside was a huge circular area with a dome-shaped ceiling. The walls were brown, the lighter kind. Cement pillars encircled the room. Jesper counted 50 tables spread out equally. Each had around 20 seats. This place could hold up to one thousand citizens. And he was alone. People were lined up in front of a window on the far end. It was bustling with activity, but Jesper saw that it was for food. He looked up towards the dome where a large clock sat. Both hands pointed at the twelve. His stomach rumbled. "Go on, get something to eat," Drew insisted. "But then I want you to meet your roommate." The work struck at him. Roommate. He's never lived with anyone before (except for Ava and his parents, if only he could remember them). But he slowly trots over to the back of the line, which is only fifteen people away. Standing at the end was a little grey raccoon that came up to his shoulders. He was wearing a brown fedora with cameo pants and a white shirt. "Were you in line?" Jesper asked. The raccoon looked up at him. "Nah. Go ahead." His accent was dark, but in a way that made Jesper curious about him. But the line moved and so did he. As it did, he noticed a little ferret come up to the raccoon. The latter of the two handed over a small bottle of gel-like substance in it. Lube? How in the world did he get ahold of some? What goes on around here? Once he's at the front, he's handed a small brown bag stapled shut. "You're new here, aren't you?" the fox behind the counter asked. The Dalmatian only nodded before scanning the room to find Drew again. He was standing at the far end of the room, talking to some vixen. As Jesper approached, Drew lit up and motioned him towards a nearby table. At the end sat a grizzly bear wearing a red vest that looked way too small for him, a white undershirt, and blue jeans. The first thing that came to Jesper's mind was that whoever this was looked like a typical lumberjack. "Hey, Dallas!" Drew called. The bear looked up. "I want you to meet your roommate." I'm living with him? Jesper asked to himself. The wolf patted the pup on the shoulders saying "Good luck" before walking away. Jesper, seeing no other option, sat across from Dallas, who has yet to talk. Neither of them said anything. To Jesper, there were three kinds of relationships. One was where people talk, two was when nobody says a word and steers clear of each other, and three was the part where they hate each other's guts. Between the pup and the bear, it was looking like a two leaning towards a three. Dallas took a sip of his drink (smelled like street coffee) before clearing his throat. "Have a seat, little pup," he said, nodding towards the chair opposite his. Jesper slowly eased down onto the seat. He teared open his bag then spilled out the contents. A ham-and-turkey sandwich, an orange, and a packet of fruit snacks. What was this? Third grade? But Jesper's stomach rumbled so he didn't argue. Minutes after he started slowly nipping down his food (with occasional glances up towards the older-looking ursine), someone hopped into the seat next to him. "How's it going newbie?" Jesper looked over and saw it was the raccoon from the lunch line. He kept talking. "The name's John, as in John Valencio. I see you've met big boy Dallas, here." The bear uttered a grunt in his direction. "Now, if only..." He scanned the room as if he were missing an expensive watch. John stood up onto his chair and looked around the room. He perked up then waved someone over. It was a tiger with snow white fur and dark black stripes. "There you are, Miller!" John said as he took a seat next to Dallas. "Newbie, this is Miller; one of my best friends in the Bunker. Go ahead. Say hi." Neither the Dalmatian or tiger said anything. "Ah, I get it. Not talkers? There's something you have in common! Say, spotty, what's your name?" "Jesper," the dog muttered, taking a swig or water from a nearby fountain. "Jasper, huh? Not a bad name." "No... Jesper, with an e." John nodded as he understood perfectly. The pup then looked across from him towards the intimidating bear. "I'm his new roommate apparently." "I see." John then turned towards the bear. "Your roommate has finally gone Five, has he?" Jesper turned towards the raccoon, his tail curling up on himself. He gave him a curious looking, asking what the term meant. Going Five. The raccoon only replied, "It's best if you don't know at the moment. You're too... new. Say, Dallas, isn't it about time you're breaking in the new roomie?" He flashed him a sly grin. The ursine rolled his eyes, getting up from his seat. "What does he mean by that?" Jesper asked. "Come with me," Dallas said. He started walking around the perimeter of the domed Common Area. The Dalmatian quickly gathered up his trash and followed, dropping his waste in the nearest trash can. Once caught up, they walked side by side until Dallas took a left into a corridor known as Sector Z. Every several feet, a door with a number would appear on either side of the hall. Each one had a black box right where a doorknob would be. The numbers appeared to have been going in descending order from 20. They turned right. Left. Right again. Dallas stopped in front of a door labeled 7. "Put your ID right here," the bear instructed, pointing at the black box. Jesper dug into his pocket for his card. He did as Dallas said, waving his ID around in front of the box. He heard a beep. Then saw a green light. Next thing he knew, the door slid open to the right, opening up what appeared to be an apartment before him. He stepped inside slowly, as if it will crumble away if he went too fast. A flat screen was on the left wall in front of a purple velvet couch. The carpet that covers this room is the world map, distorted to fit into the shape of a square. A couple paintings hang up on the wall in which the door sits. On Jesper's right is another door, this one with a knob on it. Dallas caught Jesper's eye. "Go ahead," he urged. "Open it. It's where you're going to be living." The dog was a little nervous about this; about all of this: the Bunker, the people, the new environment. He couldn't keep his paw from shaking as he grasped the knob and turned it. Inside was a small bedroom with green walls. Correction; three green walls and one black one. A large bed, large enough to accommodate four people, sat on the left side. (One thing Jesper noticed is that on the other side of it, it looked like there was enough room for another bed.) In the opposite corners were two wooden-finished dressers; one of which seemed to have been overflowing with clothes. The other had all four drawers opened and emptied. "What happened in here?" Jesper asked. Dallas sighed, sliding the main door shut. "My old roommate went Five so he had to leave. One day, they came in and took him away. So... here you are." He looked back at the empty space where a bed once was. "Where am I supposed to sleep?" he asked. The bear nodded at the oversized bed. "In there. With me." With him? The thought was a little scary considering Jesper only met him not even an hour ago. But it was the fear and risk that made Jesper a little excited at the same time. Then something popped back into his brain. "Um... when John said you were going to break me in... what did he mean by that?" His pants were getting tighter as he realized what that meant. Dallas took notice, an evil grin spread across his face. The bear kicked the door shut, leaving them alone in their private room. Nowhere to go, Jesper thought. No way out of this. And yet the thoughts were only driving him a little wild. A second later, Dallas moved forward and pushed him back onto the bed. Jesper only watched as the ursine in front of him started to strip. Off came the red vest and white undershirt, revealing a large, extended gut that came nearly to his knees. He dropped his pants, leaving him in the nude, then pinned Jesper to the bed with just a paw. "He means," Dallas said. "That it's time to be broken in." He couldn't say anything. The bear flipped him over onto his stomach and started yanking his jeans down until they were past his buttocks. Jesper whimpered. He sweated and panted out of fear of this stranger's power. This is what happened to give him an STD. But for some reason, he was liking this. His cock was hardened and throbbing, begging for release. He nearly barked when he felt something large and wet penetrate his hole. It squirmed around inside of him for a few inches, opening his anus wide open. "Mmmm, I see I've caught I tight one," Dallas said. He gripped Jesper's rear, spreading his cheeks. Jesper yipped once he felt something hard poke at his hole. He moaned as Dallas stretched him open. His pulsing cock slid in deeper and deeper. It felt inches thick. His ass went from cold to fire in two seconds. A sweat broke out on his forehead. He panted as Dallas finally hilted him, wriggling around to keep him wide open. "Ahhhh God it hurts!!!" Jesper shouted at the top of his lungs. The fire consumed him from the waist down. Dallas slowly moved out of him, then slammed back in, jolting a bark from the sub taking it all in. The fire soon died down as the pace quickened. The burning replaced by pleasure, the hunger for more. The bed started to rock with Dallas' more frequent, harder thrusts. In. Out. In. Out. The rhythm was picking up, their breathing started to increase in intensity. Jesper's own rod was precumming free-pawed. He humped the mattress, feeling his climax build. Dallas started to swell a little inside of him, threatening to burst. "Ahhh fuck!!! I'm gonna...!!!" Dallas let out a mighty roar, releasing it all. Jesper shouted with a scream that burned his throat. The fire in his ass returned as he was filled with hot and sticky bear cum. Soon he was shooting his own load all over the sheets, covering it with pasty white. He collapsed onto his mess. Dallas pulled out of him (which drove out a little whimper) then sat on the bed next to him, rubbing his back. "Wow," he panted. "Was that your first time taking a bear?" The dog nodded. "Well, you did great. I'm going to get a shower. You're more than welcome to join if you want." He got up then left the room. Minutes later, Jesper could hear the sound of running water close by. He didn't want to get up, though. Once the afterglow struck, he wanted nothing more than to sleep. Sleep until there was no more reason to be asleep.

When Jesper came to, he was drowsy. Something kept him pinned onto the bed and it wasn't anything physical. But something tangible did hold him back. Jesper looked over his shoulder and saw Dallas behind him. The bear had his eyes closed and was snoring softly. (He giggled when he noticed a little pile of drool on the pillow.) What really set him off was that he was back in his clothes, tucked under a blanket and being spooned by someone he met only...             What time was it? Dallas didn't have a clock in the room. For now, he'll just say it was about three hours since they fucked. Slowly, Jesper removed the blanket and stood up on the far side of the bed. He winced as he ass felt a little strange. Not pain, that was long gone. It would be some time to adjust to getting fucked by someone three times his size.             The Dalmatian crept over to the door, tip toeing so he wouldn't wake the bear. He turned the knob slowly and left into the main room. The lights were off. When looking at the main door, he patted his pocket to find his ID card. Dallas had put that back as well. Jesper scanned the door open. The hallway was lit up from the overhead lights. But it was quiet. Too quiet.             He slowly moved down the hall towards where he believed the Common Area was. The main door made no noise as it slid shut. Step by step, he made a turn then another. Each one took nearly ten seconds. In eleven minutes, he was at the rim of the Common Area. The tables had been put away. The giant clock overhead said it was nine o'clock. So he was asleep for over eight hours. How much oxytocin can a bear release on a person during sex? As Jesper was about to step into the room, he heard voices. He ducked back into the hallway, keeping up against the wall. One of the voices was familiar, talking in a low voice. "I'm sure that everything will be fine," it said. Hold on, that one was too familiar. Jesper peered one eye around the corner and saw a black wolf standing there talking to someone else. Drew. "These kids have no idea. All of them are too stupid to notice." "Jacob, we've already had thirty-seven people go wrong over the past few years," another voice said. "Half of them this year alone. Someone is going to connect the dots sooner or later." Jesper risked another look around the corner. This one was a red vixen in a similar lab coat as Drew. Ava! What was she doing down here? "Miss Darling, I know that you're concerned, especially for the newest recruit-" "Jesper," she said firmly. "His name is Jesper Henning. I raised him as my own. I was friends with his parents before they died from that plane crash." Drew nodded. "I understand. But you realize that he's going to go Five one of these days. Once he does, I need to know that you'll be willing to do whatever it takes to keep the virus under control." Ava gave him a hard look as if to say I'm going to melt you with my laser vision. "I get it. I'm just saying that there's always another solution if you look hard enough." Drew laughed playfully. "I've always liked that about you, Miss Darling. You've always been the one to be optimistic. But, you heard our orders; Operation MEHP may be approaching sooner than we think." Jesper turned on his heel and ran.
