P.O.V. Damien
[Zach] Oh god what do we do bro?
[Me] Just chill out, we need to assess his wounds. Check his pulse and see if he's still breathing. He shouldn't have major wounds besides maybe a broken bone or two.
Just from looking at him, I can tell he only has a broken rib. Maybe a few small cuts but hell be fine.
[Zach] Hes still breathing. He might be coming to in a while. What should we do? We cant drive back to the hospital ten minutes after we left to show them we hit someone.
[Me] All he has is a few scratches and a broken rib. We could take him to our place until he gets back on his feet.
[Zach] Always wanted to be the little hero. I remember when you always helped the neighborho-
[Me] Can you do your speech later. This guy is going to be in pain when he comes to.
Zach lifts the little rabbit off the ground and places him in the back seat. I get in the back to make sure he doesn't bounce around and get injured more. I cant stop looking at this rabbit.
<He just seems so calm. He's kinda cute, too. I wonder if he's around my age. He looks kinda smaller than me. And his fur! Such a nice shade of blue... Hes waking up I say should something.>
[Me] Hey little buddy. You feeling okay.
[Rabbit] I think so. What happened?
His voice is so deep and smooth!
[Me] We... Umm... Sorta hit you by accident... What were you running so fast from anyway?
Wait. Is this the guy who was running from the hospital?
[Rabbit] That's... Kind of complicated....
