"So, how much farther out to sea are you taking us, Phil?" Peter asked, the youth's silver hair blowing about in the wind as their rental boat zipped along the water's surface, leaving foamy trails in its wake. "It feels like we've been traveling for at least an hour now!"

"Don't worry, it's not much farther now, I promise!" Phil chuckled, the football-loving male already dressed in his scuba gear. "I thought it'd be easier for me to check this ship out with a friend on hand. Ya know, just in case we were to come across any treasure," he winked.

"Heh, now you know I wouldn't turn that down," Peter smirked. "Have you checked it out yet, or is this going to be your first time exploring it?"

"This'll all be new to me, so don't worry. Anything that catches you by surprise will be surprise to me as well."

"Makes sense," Peter nodded. "As long as there are no hungry sharks waiting for us, then I think we're fine!"

"Trust me; I've prepared for that little eventuality." Phil cast his glance towards a harpoon gun. "I don't want to use it, but should worse come to worse, I will. I call it 'life insurance'!"

"Life insurance... sheesh..." Peter rolled his eyes. The boat's engine slowed as Phil brought the boat to a stop, the ocean's waves gently rocking the sides of it as they stopped completely.

"Okay, here we are!" Phil looked overboard, setting up the ladder for them so they could get back onto the boat when they needed to. "You might want to get suited up now, Peter!"

"Right!" Peter nodded, undressing from his casual clothes, and putting his skin-tight scuba suit on. "You're probably gonna need to show me how to work the air tank and everything; this is all new to me!"

"That shouldn't take too long to explain," Phil responded assuringly, helping Peter set up the air tank and breathing apparatus. "There's enough air in there to last around five hours. I doubt we'll be under there for that long, but better safe than sorry!"

"Okay!" Peter responded, his voice slightly muffled by the mouthpiece. "Ready when you are, Phil!"

"Already way ahead of you!" Phil laughed, diving headfirst into the water. He was carrying an empty bag with him, so Peter grabbed one as well before he descended into the depths.

"Man, this feels weird!" Peter thought, swimming about. He had been used to swimming in more standard places, and whilst he had dived below in those places, he only went about four or five feet to the bottom of a swimming pool, never any deeper into the ocean itself. But from how easily Phil was diving, he could tell that it was something that he had done time and time again. At least the weight of the tank made it so that he could stay below and not be forced back up.

"It's not that far down, so you won't have to worry about insane amounts of pressure!" Phil called back. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna put you in any kind of trouble!"

"Oh, really? The amount of times you've gone eagle around me always garnered us some odd looks. And there's also the time you went dragon on me after I mentioned that small lottery win."

"Err...let's just focus on getting to the treasure. Besides, I know I won't shift into either form underwater. Probably because shifting into either of them deep in the ocean could get me killed."

"Right." Peter smirked. "Speaking of treasure, is that the boat you're talking about?" He pointed ahead to a large wreck.

"Looks like it!" Phil grinned. The ship was black with some white patches here and there, giving it a vaguely orca-ish appearance. The masthead resembled a pod of dolphins, and from what they could make out from the distance, the ship had a cetacean theme to it. "Wow...whoever made this ship must really like sea life!"

"Either that, or they had a fetish or two!" Peter couldn't resist saying. "I mean, look at it, it's obvious that they really love dolphins and orcas!"

"I wouldn't worry about it. It just means we might find some nice little trinkets to take back home with us, and the rest of it I'm sure we'll be able to make a pretty penny off of!"

"Are you SURE you're not gonna go dragon on me? You're sounding pretty greedy right now," Peter teased.

"Trust me, I know you're saying it cause you want to see me go scaly. And I told you that once I know a way to make you go dragon too, I'll share it with you. You'll probably have better control over the whole greed thing than me anyway."

"That's a broad claim, ya know," Peter responded. "But let's not waste any more time, we've got a ship to search!" He swam towards one of the many broken windows, finding one that looked the safest to pass through before going through it.

"Looks like he's got the hang of this already!" Phil thought, following behind his friend. He pulled out a waterproof torch, shining it through the darkness. The insides of the ship appeared to be largely rotted, sludge and algae stuck to the walls and ceilings. Random items were floating around, mostly rusted in appearance.

Peter looked around, gently batting away a few pieces of rusted dinnerware. He saw a desk with a book floating above it, and a chest sitting by it, still sealed. He went to check out the book, opening it up. Unfortunately, the pages turned into a pulpy mess when he attempted to flip through them.

"I wonder if anything's in the chest?" Phil swam over to it. He punched the eroded padlock off with his fist, the chest creaking loudly as it opened, giant air bubbles escaping from it. To his surprise, it was only half-full of what appeared to be coins and gems, as well as a couple of statues depicting orcas. "Wow, that's got to be the emptiest chest I've ever seen..." he sighed, placing the contents into his bag.

"We've only just started to look around, so don't give up hope just yet!" Peter said, encouraging his friend. "I'm sure we'll find some things to take home with us!"

"You're right! Let's not think small!" Phil nodded. "Let's try the next room; I can see another chest right through that door!" Peter quickly took off through the open frame.

"Hey, wait for me!" Phil called, following behind Peter. He floated behind his pal as he saw Peter break the lock, lifting up the lid of the chest. Fewer air bubbles escaped from the chest this time, indicating that it was at least fuller than the other chest, and indeed it was - full of golden statues of killer whales and dolphins, as well as a hefty pile of treasure. Another much smaller chest was sitting on top of one of the orca statues, catching their attention.

"A chest inside a chest, that's a new one," Peter giggled, taking the box from atop the statue. He opened it up, and inside of this one was a pair of pendants - one was in the shape of an orca, the other was in the appearance of a yin/yang symbol. "They look so cool! It's amazing how they've kept up so well after being underwater all this time!"

"I guess being inside two chests probably helped." Phil moved closer, taking a look at the two pendants for a moment. "I don't know about you, but I wouldn't mind keeping one of these for myself!" He reached for the orca pendant.

"Not at all, it'd be a shame to sell them off!" Peter took the yin/yang pendant, and both of them looked over the necklaces for a moment. They both had a pair of clasps around the ropes, which meant they could put them on without having to remove their scuba gear, should they wish. "We might as well put them on to ensure they don't get lost!"

"That sounds like a good idea - I'd be kicking myself if I lost this!" Phil undid the clasp, placing it carefully around his neck, making sure he didn't get it caught around any of the air tubes. Peter followed suit, putting his on as well. The pendants rested gently atop their diving suits. "I gotta say - they look good on us!"

"That they do! Now let's get back to treasure hunting!" Peter turned away to look through the room again. Neither of them noticed their pendants start to glow and shimmer, a sudden wave of energy flowing through them. "Let me know if you find anything good!"

"Don't worry; you'll know if I do!" Phil rummaged through the open chest, gauging just how full of treasure it was. "From the looks of it, this might end up filling the whole bag! I'll have to go back to the boat and get another one!" He started filling it up, stopping after a moment to notice that his gloves were feeling a little tighter than they were before. "Ngh, what the...?" He looked at them, lifting his hands up just as his gloves burst open. The first thing he noticed was the discoloration of his skin - black on the backs of his hands and wrists and white on the undersides and palms. Secondly, he saw thin webbing spreading between his fingers, the middle digits fusing together as they all thickened, sharp claws sprouting from the tips of them. "T....this is new!" Phil blinked - had this been anyone else, they would have been far more freaked out by this, but for Phil, this was par for the course, given his usual transformations into an eagle and a dragon, as well as a few seasonal forms. The dark skin traveled up his arms, his teal green suit tightening around him as his muscles bulged.

"Something wrong?" Peter called back to Phil - his suit was growing tighter as well, but he hadn't noticed it yet, given this was his first time wearing a suit that was naturally skin tight. Just like Phil's, already his skin was shifting to a pitch black, his hair receding as the texture turned rubbery.

"Oh, no, nothing out of the ordinary. At least for me, anyway!" Phil heard his suit start to tear in places, exposing his body to the water. His arms were bulging with thick muscle, making him look like a bodybuilder. It was strange to say the least - whilst his other forms had some extra muscle, they weren't exaggerated to this extent. "I dread to think how much it'll cost to get this scuba suit replaced... I had it custom-made and everything!" he said, under his breath.

Peter, still oblivious to his changes, found another chest, opening it up to reveal a decent amount of gems. "Alright, not bad!" He reached forward to grab them, only stopping when he saw his gloves burst open. He saw the black, rubbery skin underneath, thick webbing between each of his digits, and his fingers stretching longer as the tips of them elongated and shifted into great claws. "Gah, what the hell are these?!" he yelped, catching Phil's attention.

"Peter, what's wrong?" Phil dashed into the other room to see what had his friend worried. As he did, his chest barreled forwards, his pectoral muscles gaining extra definition as his stomach pushed outwards, giving him a bulky yet chubby frame. His friend turned around, and Phil got a good look at the sharp, talon-like claws on his friend's hands, the arms of his suit splitting along the sides as his muscles expanded. Whilst they weren't as large as Phil's, they appeared leaner. "Woah, what's happening to you?"

Peter wasn't at all surprised that Phil was taking his changes surprisingly well, noting his much bulkier frame. A set of bumps were forming at the base of their spines and between their shoulder blades, making the backs of their clothing bulge out further. "Apparently the same thing that's happening to you!" was Peter's response, while his own torso rippled with muscles he never thought he had, or would even gain in his lifetime. His upper chest barreled forwards as his pectoral muscles expanded, his abs sculpting themselves into a fine wall of muscle. Phil couldn't help but feel a little jealous at his friend's more slender yet muscle-packed appearance - given how much football he played, it had done wonders for keeping him in shape - and this new form was making him look like he had let go just a little bit.

"You don't think it's got anything to do with these pendants, do you?" Phil enquired as more of his suit tore apart. The growing bumps were forcing their air tanks away, putting some strain on the tubes that were delivering the air to them, although if they were becoming what they thought they were becoming, they probably wouldn't be needing the air tanks for much longer anyway.

"It's gotta be!" Peter looked down at his pendant, seeing the flesh on his front lighten to a pure white at the same time Phil's shifted. "Part of me wouldn't be at all surprised if you had planned this, Phil!" he tried to joke.

"If I had this planned, I probably would have done this on dry land where I wouldn't total my favorite scuba suit!" Phil had to laugh, given the amount of clothes he went through with his transformations - at least he'd be able to replace his outfit with the treasure they'd discovered.

Their flippers were starting to feel uncomfortable, their feet stretching inside their suits. Their toes elongated in unison, merging from five to three as webbing lined their toes. As with before, short claws grew out from the tips of Phil's toes, piercing his flippers as they grew out, whilst Peter's were more or less destroyed as his toes shifted into talons, long and dagger like with a slight curve to them. The two kicked off what remained of their flippers, casting them aside as they looked at their transformed feet, the soles of Phil's white just like his hands.

"It's just hard to tell with you!" Peter shot him a smirk. Their legs were thickening up in preparation for the growth of their tails, their thighs rippling with muscle. The legs of the their suits finally gave way, showing off their thicker legs, more or less identical compared to the rest of their frames, with the exception that the inner parts of Phil's thighs were tinged with the white flesh of his front.

"Come on...am I THAT predictable with my transformations? ...Wait, don't answer that!" Phil said, with a hint of embarrassment. The backs of their suits finally gave way as tails exploded out of both of them. Scraps of fabric clung around the base of their new limbs, which were thicker near their bodies and slimmer near the bottom, the tips of them expanding into a pair of fluked fins. Black and white flesh covered them, the tails wagging idly behind them as they got used to them.

"I won't answer that, but I think you can guess my answer!" Peter ran his claws over his new tail, feeling it up. Their tanks were dislodged as the bumps between their shoulders grew bigger still, the tubes breaking as they fell aside. They both arched their backs as they gained a dorsal fin, each one curving behind them proudly. Phil noticed that Peter's fin was a little sharper in appearance, whilst his own was that of a standard orca. At the same time, he also noticed a large yin yang marking appearing on Peter's back, looking like a tattoo that had been magically etched onto his body.

"Okay, how are you not freaking out now that you've lost your air tank?" Phil asked, whilst their shoulders grew broader, putting strain around the hoods of their almost fully destroyed suits.

"I guess because we're both turning into things that are capable of breathing underwater. Trust me...I've grown to accept these things given your frequent shifts!" Peter responded with a groan, his head swelling in size at the same time Phil felt his own head expand. The rubber straps on their scuba masks were stretched taut over their growing heads, being pulled to their limit before snapping off, and flung a few inches from their heads, slowed down by the water around them. Their hair fell out and vanished, their noses sinking into their heads as the nostrils merged into one large hole that was pushing its way up towards the top of their heads. Both of them felt an odd sensation for a few seconds as their bodies adapted for underwater breathing, their jaws thrusting forwards as their noses finished shifting into blowholes. Their teeth fell loose from their stretching jaws, and dozens of tiny-yet-sharp fangs grew in their places. The undersides of their jaws turned pale white, patches appearing over their eyes as they moved towards the sides of their head, ears shrinking away into tiny holes. Completing their transformations, their eyes shifted colors, Phil's turning light blue whilst Peter's turned an icy blue.

"Gghhh...well...that was interesting..." Peter said, pulling off the remnants of his clothing as he looked over his transformed state. "I guess you've changed so many times that this doesn't even come off as being a little bit strange, right?"

"Right." Phil smirked. "You also took it well, considering this is the first of what I'm going to guess will be many shifts for you!"

"You really think I'm gonna end up shifting at random like you do?" Peter grinned. "At least I don't have to worry about getting to the sea in this state!"

"Hehe." Phil smiled. "Well, I'd have to say this probably makes us orca brothers, though I've still gotta find a way to make you a dragon!"

"That'll come in due time! As for now, this orca form's gonna take a little bit of getting used to. Not only that, but..."

"But?"

"We're still swimming around a ship. A ship full of treasure that we need to loot. You can see where I'm heading with this, right?" He flashed a toothy grin.

"Aw, yeah!" Phil returned the grin. "In that case, what are we waiting for?!"

"Way ahead of you, dude!" Peter chuckled heartily, using his newfound strength to pick up a chest full of treasure. "I don't think we'll need to bother with the bags anymore!"

"Good thinking!" Phil did the same, stuffing the bag he had into one of the chests, using his impressive muscles to pick the heavy chest up, and the two orcas began swimming back up to the boat. Phil hadn't anticipated that he'd gain a new form from this adventure, and he didn't know that he'd be dragging his friend along with him, but neither of them was complaining in any way, shape or form. It was probably going to take a little bit of getting used to, but over time, they knew they were going to take to their new forms perfectly.
