#27 of Highschool Days

ALRIGHT, So, before you read this, then post making me feel bad because it sucks, I'm not the best at winding stories down :P This is one of the few last chapters, believe me on this. It's not good, it's rushed, and at some points, it's absolutely confusing, however, some of the stuff that may confuse you will be explained in later chapters, so if you have a question, wait patiently, please?

Anyways! Now to the story. Enjoy!

**

Gideon and Raymond woke up with a groan. It had been two weeks since Raymond's birthday and the night before Gideon's mother had been idiotic and decided that, to celebrate the wedding and to mourn Troy since the day before had been his funeral, they were going to get the two very underage husbands-to-be drunk, and now, they were in pain.

Raymond put a paw to his muzzle and ran to the bathroom and threw up. "Alright," he said between washing his toothbrush off and putting more toothpaste on it, "never again."

"I agree," Gideon said, clutching his head tightly.

They walked upstairs slowly, groaning when the sunlight hit their eyes and, to Gideon's mother's annoyance, walked around the living room shutting all of the dark curtains until it was practically pitch black. "Why did you do that?" she asked.

"Because," Gideon said, his tone accusing as he clutched his head, "you got us drunk last night."

"Oh ya," Carol said, laughing, "I forgot."

"Oh yeah," Gideon said sarcastically, "Your son and son-in-law come upstairs, gripping their heads because of a major hangover, and you forget you got them drunk."

Carol grinned, "I'm sorry."

"Sure you are," Raymond said, "I guess you also forgot that we have to go to Lizzy's today to pick her up to start doing shopping for decorations and invitations? Let alone that we have to do everything soon considering we want to have it September 24th."

Carol grinned and said, "Well, today you have school."

Gideon groaned, "Are you really going to make us go to school today?"

"Yes," Carol said, "yes I will."

Gideon grumbled as he dragged Raymond downstairs and they got dressed quickly, only bothering with brushing their hair, for Gideon, and fur for Raymond. "Clean enough," Gideon said.

Raymond giggled and they walked upstairs, leaving before Carol could notice that they テ「竄ャヒ彷orgot' their backpacks. They walked towards the bus stop, laughing loudly as they waited for the bus. When it got there, Gideon noticed through the window two foxes sitting in a seat, across from them the seat was empty.

Gideon pulled Raymond to the back of the bus so they were sitting opposite the two foxes. "Hey," Gideon said, smiling, "I'm Gideon."

He held out his paw to the smaller fox first and the fox took his hand and said, to his surprise in a male voice, "I'm Nathan."

Gideon looked puzzled and the bigger fox laughed, "He's a crossdresser." The bigger fox took Gideon's hand and said, "I'm Alan."

Gideon grinned and put his arm around Raymond, which caught puzzled looks from the two and said, "This is my fiancテδゥ, Raymond."

"Fiancテδゥ?" the smaller fox asked, "How old are you two."

"Fifteen and fifteen." Gideon said. "How about you?"

"Fourteen and sixteen," Nathan said.

"You guys new?" Raymond asked?

"Yeah," Alan said, "we just moved after..."

"After my parents died," Nathan said.

"Oh," Gideon said.

"I have a quick question," Alan said, "Does the school here have a larger tolerance of gays?"

"You bet," Gideon said, winking. "When you have someone as big as me beating the shit out of anyone who makes the slightest bad remark about gay furs, it tends to give results, if not acceptance, they at least don't pick on them." Gideon looked Nathan over, "Looks like you'll have trouble. It'd be fine if he was just gay, but... I haven't met any crossdressers before and if he is going to dress like that often, well, he's going to get picked on, a lot."

Alan cracked his knuckles, "Anyone touches him they're going to get the shit beat out of them."

"I'll help if you want it," Gideon said with a wink.

"Nah," Alan said, "I prefer to handle my own problems."

"Alright," Gideon said, grinning at the larger fox he patted the foxes shoulder.

The school was coming into view now and the foxes gaped, "It's a large school isn't it?" Raymond said with a grin.

"Yeah," Nathan said quietly.

"Don't get lost," Gideon said with a wink after they walked inside. "Meet Raymond and I here after school, my mom can give you guys a ride."

"Sounds like fun," Alan said, chuckling as he saw Nathan's tail start to wag. "Why is your tail wagging?"

"Because," Nathan said, looking everywhere at once, "there are lots of cute guys."

Gideon and Raymond started to laugh as they walked and Gideon put his arm around Raymond and kissed his cheek, "I love you."

Raymond laughed and said, "I love you too, and in two weeks, we'll be husbands."

They walked towards their first class, enjoying the moment where they could just walk and talk with their arms around each other, just enjoying the time they had together until they had to sit down in the hot, stuffy classroom.

"How much of an issue do you think it's going to be to get your name changed by the school district?" Gideon said suddenly.

"I didn't even think of that," Raymond said, grinning. "We're going to go through so much trouble to get my name changed. I'll have to get a new I.D., everyone will be confused when my name is called."

Gideon grinned and kissed Raymond's cheek, the kids in the hallway ignoring them as if they were completely invisible. "You know," Gideon said, looking at all the kids, "I can't stand school."

"Well," Raymond said, grinning before saying, "let's skip."

Gideon grinned and said, "Sounds like a good idea." They hid in a bathroom, kissing each other passionately in a stall while they waited for the bell to ring and the hallways to clear. When they did they sneaked out of the school carefully, making sure they didn't get caught.

When they were out Raymond grinned at Gideon and kissed him. "So, where are we going?"

"Hmmm," Gideon said, "we can't sneak back into the house."

"We could sneak into Wyatt's room," Raymond said, grinning.

"Nah," Gideon said, "Wyatt's home sick today."

"How do you know?" Raymond asked.

"Because he wasn't downstairs bugging me to walk him to school," Gideon said, laughing as he did so. "We could go and sit in the park."

Raymond shrugged his shoulders, "We could go home and tell your mom that we got sent home sick."

"That would work too," Gideon said, nodding his head, his face scrunching up in a thoughtful expression. "I vote that, we can go home and see our babies."

Raymond grinned and kissed Gideon on the cheek as Gideon picked Raymond up and started to fly towards the house. Raymond started to look down at the houses and Gideon laughed as Raymond stared at one child who was playing in the front yard of a house. "Someday that will be Zandra and Zakai." Gideon whispered.

"That's going to be a good time of our lives," Raymond said with a grin, running his paw over his stomach, "and it's going to happen multiple times."

Gideon grinned and said, "We don't even know if you're pregnant again."

Raymond shrugged and said, "I probably am."

Gideon shook his head and said, "Mom will be so pissed."

Raymond laughed and kissed Gideon on the cheek as Gideon landed. Gideon took Raymond's paw in his and smiled and leaned over and kissed him. They walked inside and Carol looked up and sighed, "You complained to the nurse as soon as you got to school didn't you?" she asked.

"You betchya," Gideon said, grinning at his mother and heading upstairs to the nursery. He saw Zandra and Zakai laying in their separate cribs, completely quiet and fully awake. He bent over Zandra's crib and she reached up and poked his muzzle with her finger.

He smiled and picked her up carefully and then sniffed once and almost gagged. "Someone needs changed," he said, nuzzling her chest.

"Two little someones need changed," Raymond said from behind him at Zakai's crib.

Gideon laughed as he laid Zandra out on the changing table and undid the dirty diaper, wrinkling his nose as he did so, his scales now covering his nostrils. He quickly replaced the diaper and then moved for Raymond.

When both of the babies had been changed and the trash had been taken out- the diapers just smelled so horrible!- they walked downstairs with their babies in arm and sat down next to their mother. "Our babies are so beautiful," Gideon said, looking at Raymond and winking.

"Yeah," he said, "and soon we'll have more."

He had waited for Carol to take a drink of soda, or whatever she was drinking, and whatever it was came out of her nose as she choked. "What?" she exclaimed.

"Raymond might be pregnant again," Gideon said, his face contorted by his huge smile.

"How could you be so irresponsi..." Carol started but Gideon interrupted.

"It was a heat of the moment thing." Gideon said. "You and dad know about that, don't you?" Gideon said, grinning and raising an eyebrow expectantly.

Carol stuttered as she said, "I swear to god, shut up right now or I'll ground you."

Gideon frowned but said, "Fine."

"Good," she said, "now that that is settled, what do you want for breakfast, since your home."

"I don't know," Gideon said, "I'm going to go and wake Wyatt up, we can ask him."

Carol nodded, "He's not feeling well, so don't bug him to much."

Gideon walked upstairs slowly and when he knocked on Wyatt's door he heard Wyatt say, "Come in."

He walked in and sat down on Wyatt's bed and reached a paw out and touched Wyatt's forehead. "You're a little warm," Gideon said, "You want something to eat?"

"Sure," Wyatt said.

"What do you want, mom said it's your choice." Gideon said, rubbing Wyatt's head softly.

"I'm fine with anything," Wyatt said.

"How about waffles?" Gideon asked.

"Sounds great." Wyatt said, "but can you make them? Mom always burns them."

Gideon laughed and said, "Alright." Gideon thought for a moment before saying, "How are you and Dylan doing."

Wyatt smiled and said, "We're doing just fine, thanks for asking."

Gideon grinned and then stood up and stretched before walking out of the door and down to the kitchen where Raymond joined him as he set up the waffle iron. "Wyatt wanted waffles?" Raymond asked.

"Yes," Gideon said, "and specifically from me."

Raymond laughed and kissed Gideon's cheek, "I guess you do make the best waffles in the house when Ron isn't here."

"True," Gideon said with a grin as the phone rang. Gideon reached over and plucked it off the receiver, holding it expertly between his head and shoulder. "Yes?" he said into the phone.

"Gideon?" Jack asked from the other end, "Can you ask Clarice to go to my house and check on Dylan, he wasn't feeling well today and I couldn't not go to school."

"Yeah," Gideon said, "I'll do it."

"Alright," Jack said, "thanks."

"Who was that?" Raymond asked as he hung the phone up on the receiver for Gideon.

"Jack asking me to tell Clarice to check on Dylan." Gideon said, closing the top of the waffle iron he looked at his watch. "I've got five minutes, I can get there and back in time"

Gideon walked out of the house and took off, flying towards Jack's house. When he landed he walked inside to the astonished face of Dylan who was sitting on the couch. Gideon grinned and said, "Your brother asked me to check on you."

"Oh," Dylan said, rubbing his throat as he talked. His voice was hoarse and Gideon almost laughed.

"You need anything?" Gideon asked, "Tylenol, something to help your throat, I can have Clarice bring something back."

"Some Tylenol would be nice," Dylan said, "and, maybe," he reached his paw onto the table and pulled six dollars off the table, "could you ask Clarice to stop and get me something to eat?"

Gideon laughed and said, "Yeah, I'll tell her."

"Thanks," Dylan said. "How's Wyatt?"

"He's doing just fine," Gideon said, smiling as he took the money and put it in his pocket. He rubbed a paw over Dylan's head, "I'll tell him you said I love you."

"Thanks again," he said, smiling.

Gideon laughed as he walked out of the house and flew back home. He walked inside and saw Clarice sitting on the couch, he threw Clarice the money and said, "Dylan asked you to take him some Tylenol and to get him something to eat."

Clarice shook her head and stood up, stretching before going upstairs to get dressed. Gideon walked into the kitchen and took the waffles out of the waffle iron and putting more batter in. Clarice was gone when he walked upstairs and when he knocked on Wyatt's door he didn't get an answer. He frowned and knocked again. He sighed and opened the door and the plate of syrupy waffles he had in his paws crashed to the floor.

In Wyatt's bed, Wyatt was lying down, the fur on his wrists soaked in blood, along with his sides and the sheets underneath. He stared at Wyatt's body lifelessly for a few minutes before he heard the door open downstairs and heard Carol yell something.

He couldn't make out what it was. He was numb everywhere. Carol walked up the stairs and asked him a question. He still couldn't make it out, he could only point into the room and lean against the wall.

Carol looked at him curiously before walking to the door and screaming at the sight inside.

See? Horrible, I know. :P Anyways, like I said, if you absolutely feel there is something that I did absolutely wrong, that doesn't include rushing the storyline a little lot, you can tell me what it is, but can you hold questions off for the next chapter, (Which will be Wyatt's funeral, I know, I kind of put Troy's funeral off, I'll go back and do it, but I'm to eager to finish this. I've had my ending planned for months.)
