Karashi's Background (Sorta)
The story of Karashi Anno Suroi
Karashi was born millennia ago, before the Xurien species ever went extinct. She was born in December, on the 9th, exactly at 11:57 PM. She lived for only a year, before things started to go bad for her.
It was early June, maybe on the 5th, when the sky began to darken. Karashi was out with her mother and father, at the steps of the Temple of Makel. Her father was named Seth and her mother was named Kiori, both royalty of the Xurien, the King and Queen of the current (in this time) Xurien species. See, the King and the Queen only really ruled over a few things, such as the use of magic, the study and deployment of magic in everyday usage. But they were also regarded as the most powerful among the Xurien.
Karashi had paused while holding her mother's hand, to stare at a flower on the ground, it was white and strangely shaped like a star. It had caught her eye, but she felt her mother squeeze her hand, and start to pull her away. She didn't understand what was going on, but her father suddenly picked her up and started to run. Over his shoulder, she saw what was the end of her species as a whole.
The lightning cracked in the sky, as meteors rained down from the heavens. The evil sorcerer whom had created the Xurien was back to attempt to destroy them, now that Makel was gone and dead. The sorcerer levitated in the sky, staff in hand as a dark magic flowed from the top of the staff to his hand. He swept his palm across the lands, as the thunder rolled out. Her vision was cut off suddenly, as her father and mother ran her inside and into a room. Her mother was stronger in magic, and she began to construct a space-time barrier around her and her father. But she couldn't stay inside.
She cried out for her mother, still unable to speak much, as suddenly, everything froze. Her last memory, and glimpse, was of a dark magic taking her mother, and ripping her in two. Now, what Kara did not know, was that the sealing magic used to protect Kara and her father, was slightly different. They still aged inside the barrier, but were protected from everything that happened outside. Kara passed out inside the barrier, and her father eventually died there. Strangers, from a distant planet, humans they were called.. Discovered this. It was designed to falter, when Kara awoke. And awoke she did, after twenty one long years. She stumbled around, and fell backwards, realizing that she had no idea where she was.
The humans aimed their guns at her, but soon realized she was more scared than actually a threat, and offered their aid. Karashi knew little, she didn't even remember their own native language, and was reduced to grunts and gestures. What she also didn't know, was her father infused within her, a memory of everything she needed to know to make it in life, but those memories would come only when she needed them most, and apparently this wasn't now. She learned the English language from the humans, and grew up in their society, before meeting a new people. Other, anthropomorphic animals like herself. This, is where her story truly begins.
Karashi began her life in the world of SoFurry, wherever this mystical multiverse takes place. She lived alone, for quite some time, with no home and no place to go. She'd originally forgotten her belongings where she'd awoken; in the middle of a forest, at a specially marked location, written in her memory by her brother Ralkion. Ralkion predicted and pre-planned for the destruction of their race, having learned of it early on. (I'll create his story later.) His main goal, was to protect his sister, because he knew that she would survive and wanted her to continue their species and eventually reconnect with her after she had found a place to settle in. Karashi earned a few friends, acquaintances and other such people. She lives with Seth Uchiha these days, and is taken care of by him. A curse was placed upon her species ages ago, that in their twenties, they become completely mute. They cannot make any noises at all, and this curse has befallen Karashi. Her memories, have slowly returned over time and she went and fetched her two items from her place of awakening. A black backpack, a small black notepad and a black, specially made brush designed for her hair and fur. She brought these items back with her, and had a friend brush her hair.
