It was late in the evening by the time Broken Bow had reached the frozen pond with the waterfall. He had heard rumor from the nearby villages that had spoken of. It was believed to be the home of an ancient lion spirit, a magical spirit that would bond with a Mage and help him in combat. The art of Bonding with Spirits has long since faded out of memory after his father had died, but the horse would soon see if the lion would approach him if he woke him.

He had climbed up the mountain side, his knees bled, his hooves were chipped, and his body reeked of sweat. But at last he made it to the frozen pond where the waterfall was. He observed the scene before him. The waterfall came down from the mountain peak, and filled into the frozen pond. It was cold, he could see his breath before him as he panted. He looked around as the wind lashed at his mane causing it to cover his eyes. He grabbed his mane and grabbed a blade of grass and tied his mane into a pony tail as to prevent the wind from further getting into his eyes. He had to focus when summoning the Spirit.

He approached the pond, and took deep breaths. He knelt down and then took out his necklace that he wore. It was the symbol of the sun, the symbol of Ra the God of Light. He took a deep breath, and spoke. "In the name of Ra, I open the door between this real and the realm of the Spirits to awaken the guardian of this pond." He said. He paused a moment and continued. "I wish to address you and discuss our contract."

There was no telling as to whether or not the incantation worked. He waited in silence, then suddenly something began to happen. The wind began to pick up, and soon bright lights began to appear. The lights increased in brightness and the horse had to cover his eyes to prevent from going blind. The horse took a deep breath, the wind pushing against him. The ice at the center of the pond began to crack. Suddenly it exploded and a large ball shot out from the water. The water then refroze and the large ball of light hovered there for a moment, it then laid down onto the ice of the pond. The light faded and revealed a massive lion.

It wasn't like any normal feral lion, it was 8 feet in height and had a thick golden mane. He had bright emerald green eyes, and a muscular form. He was as white as winter snow, his mane grey as ash. The horse took deep breaths, trying to relax. The large lion got himself up, disoriented he was, lost and dissolved. He took deep breaths, grunting and growling in frustration. His memory was foggy, as he woke himself and his body back up after 20,000,000 years of slumber. He blinked his eyes a few times, and then saw the mage standing before him.

The lion coughed and grunted as he stared right into the eyes of Broken Bow. "I have summoned you, to forge a contract." Spoke the equine in a deep voice. "I am battling ancient demons in which my father had once sealed away in the gates of Shadow." He said. "I however am not as properly trained in the magical arts and need help, what are your terms?"

The lion listened to the words of the horse, before responding. "Tell me this Mage." He said in a deep tenor voice as he looked at the horse. "Will you not give yourself up to the darkness? Wil you always and forever devote yourself to the Light God Ra? Will you swear NEVER to give yourself in to the temptation of the shadows?" He asked staring right into the eyes of the stallion.

The equine calmly replied back. "I will and always have been a servant to Ra." He said. "I serve and protect the God Ra and vanquish the demons that dare threaten to vanquish his light." Replied the horse taking deep even breaths, making sure to stare directly into the lion's eyes, never breaking contact. This part of the contract was the up most important.

The massive lion approached the horse. He gently pressed his head and pushed it up against the horse's palm. Suddenly a bright burst of light ignited upon contact. The head of the lion backed away, and then the horse looked at himself and saw the lion's insignia which had been burned into his hand.

"The contract is done." Said the lion grinning wide. "I am your partner until death."

"Thank you." The horse said as he smiled wide. Suddenly the ice melted around him, and the lion knelt down to get a drink. The horse watched the lion and saw his handsome form. He had a massive pair of orbs that dangled between his legs, and next to those orbs a beautiful sheath where surely a hot lion dick hidden. The lion was massive, much bigger then the horse had expected.

"My village is a weeks' journey from here, I am quite sure the demons followed my scent up to this peak, we aren't safe. Do you know how to find us shelter?" Asked the horse as he stared at the lion smiling slightly.

"Yes, there is a cave not far from here, we must hurry." Said the lion as then a loud roar pierced through the air, and it sent a shiver down the horse's spine. "We must hurry.' He said.

"Come, I'll lead you to the cave." Said the lion stepping forward and began to go down the mountain slope. The horse followed the lion, as they walked in silence. The young horse was, smitten by the way the handsome lion looked. As he saw his rear, he could see a very large pair of orbs that dangled between his legs. And behind that tail was a very tight looking pucker that seemed to have been untouched. There was a strange urge going through the horse right now. He had to admit that when they first touched each other that urge had grown even stronger.

He had started to grow strong feelings toward the loin, unexpected feelings that were gnawing at his stomach now, and even his sheath. It has been but a long time since he has had any sexual relief. He never took any interest in the village women of his tribe. He had more interest in men more then women anyway. The horse sighed, and tried to think of other things. He was hoping that they'd be closer to the cave by now. But at last they arrived. The lion had stopped.

"I'll check, make sure that the cave isn't occupied by any other animals that might endanger you, or I." Said the lion disappearing into the dark maw of the cave. The horse stood there and waited for several long moments, taking deep breaths, his heart beating rapidly. Once the lion returned did he finally relax.

"It's clear." Said the lion nodding his head, once again vanishing back into the mouth of the cave. Once the horse went in after the lion, he turned and faced the entrance. He took deep breaths, and closed his eyes and clasped his paws together. "By the powers inside of me, I invoke the power of the wind, I summon the spirit of wind at my side and beckon it to aid me in protecting this den." He said. Suddenly a burst of wind formed in his palms, the wind.

The wind suddenly surrounded the mouth of the cave, from floor to ceiling. The wind was loud and rushing like a hurricane. The wind's force was so strong, that the horse tossed a rock into the wind, and it shattered instantly upon impact. Which would mean that if anything else was to come into contact with the wind, it would obliterate it in seconds. The lion had found himself lying down upon the stone cold floor, relaxing himself against the wall.

The horse took a deep breath, opened his palm and uttered another incantation. Suddenly his paw ignited and small glowing seeds shot forth from his paw. The seeds floated into the air, snapping and cracking the seeds sounded like small embers. The seeds glowed various colors. "I prefer these over fire anytime." Said the horse. "See, I see that if I use fire, I feel like I'm enslaving the fire spirit that resides in the flames that I summon, these however, don't make me feel so guilty. Their embers from the burning trees of Aldara." He said smiling.

"Their beautiful" The lion said in a deep tone as he looked at the horse with a smile.

"We've never been properly introduced." Said the horse grinning. 'I am Chief Broken Bow, son of Flying Arrow, leader of the Alden Clan" He said.

"Your legend is very well known in our land." Said the lion as he looked upon the horse. "Your father saved our land from extinction."

"Did he now?" Inquired Bow.

"Yes, you see, when the shadows came out from the darkness, Ra had summoned your father to retaliate and send them back to the gaping maw of the black void in which they came from." Said the lion. "He had in fact saved the Spirit Realm, and had also saved the Light of Ra." He paused a moment and then gazed at Bow. "The Light of Ra, is concealed in that necklace of yours." He said. "Ra has chosen you to carry his legacy, in fighting off the demons that are now starting to be free from your father's sealing spell."

"At least my father did some good, before his final moments." Said Bow as he sighed.

"What do you mean?" Asked the lion curiously.

"My father, he well." He paused a moment. "He didn't quite go peacefully when he died.' Said Bow. "See, he was fighting a demon, a demon in which was much stronger then he was." He paused and tried to hold back any feeling. "He grew weak, and allowed himself to be consumed by the darkness, be broke the pact of Ra." He said, his body starting to tremble.

The lion remained silent, his stare focused on Broken Bow and inhaled. "It is sad, when our loved ones are consumed by the darkness." Said the lion in a hushed tone.

"It wasn't just that." Said Bow. "What he did next was worse, far worse than anything I could ever imagine."

"What's that?"

Bow paused a moment, and finally responded. "He killed my little sister." He said sighing. ."She was only 9 years old, he looked right at her, with demon eyes." He said. "And just killed her right there without even hesitating."

There was a moment of silence between the men as the horse let out his emotions. Tears had managed to escape his eyes as he whipped them away as quick as possible.

"I'm guessing I've not heard that side of the story...before." Said the lion nodding his head. "The darkness, it can make us do strange things." He said. "It twists our minds, our bodies." He paused a moment and then looked at Bow. "It makes us inhuman, and changes us entirely."

"You speak as if you've seen darkness do such a thing." Bow said nodding his head.

"I have." He said. "A friend of mine, another spirit, was consumed by the darkness, and made into a demon." He said. "First, he started changing, his mood, and his feelings, everything changed." He then sighed. "Then, his physical appearance." "The King of the Spirits told him, he broke the laws of the spirit world, he convinced a child, it is against the law for any spirit to have a child with a being of the none Spiritual realm."

"You know." Bow said taking a deep breath. "It's been sometime since I ever had any...pleasure." He stated clearly as he cleared his throat and shifted his eyes toward the lion, he had seen that the loin was now sprawled on his back, exposing his underbelly. He could see those plump juicy balls dangling between those beautifully formed legs. The horse gulped nervously, feeling himself getting aroused. The horse cock of his probing out of his sheath, rubbing against his loincloth. '

"I know how you feel." The lion said as he looked at the horse and smiles slightly. "I can't even remember the last time I ever had sex." He said. "It has been so long since I have felt the pleasure." He sighed heavily and looked at the horse, a shy smile displaying across his muzzle.

The horse got himself up from where he sat, and walked over toward the lion. He took deep breaths, and then leaned forward and then pressed his lips right up against the lion's lips. He kissed the feline deeply, his tongue going deep into the lion's muzzle, their lips colliding with one another as they made out passionately.
