Lament for the Sunset
#6 of Poems
A poem somewhat based on My Little Pony
Fire shimmers on the glass
As her hate and desire burns
Glorious as the Sun, dark as the Moon
The Stars are the only witness
When her lust for power consumes
Future days too bright
The present night without a guide
But the sister of a Moon past
Tries her best to show the light
The Sun lights a candle for her fallen Star
And prays that Earth will embrace her in warmth
The Moon returns and laments the fire
But looks beyond as twilight skies sparkle in the dark
