Time After Time

"Ha, Ha, you're too slow!" With his hand seemingly glued to a shipping container, a shadow moved through the night. Jumping from container to container the man chased a villain through the night and then like that he stuck. Crashing into the leather clad man, they both dragged along the concrete barely stopping before falling in to the murky waters of the shipping canal.

"Watch out you don't want that water in your mouth, still tastes like tea. But I still want your mouth." The shadow placed his hand onto the demon's face and like that his glowing demon face disappeared and was pacified. A mask dropped onto the ground, the shadow of a shark looking down and grabbing the mask, it disappeared into his hands.

"Yeah sorry but you're still not going to be used, trying to escape and robbing a bank what the hell is wrong with you." Speaking the shark looked down at his empty hand. He was talking to nothing, still he was in Boston the greatest city in the world and he was ready for everything coming at him.

"Well you always were a bit mad in the head, no one had the balls to tell you that but you know who cares what they said when they've spent their allotted time on Earth." Benji turned his head and a white glow appeared, out of it a shark appeared he was slender and had a gaunt face. Looking into his eyes, the two of them.

"Bright, about dam time you showed up, I thought that you would never arrive, frankly you made a fool out of me, but I can get punishment later." Benji replied as he took a bit of a bow, grabbing the hat off his head and showing off as he jumped away from the docks and towards the shark. "Now you look far better like that without stupid red armor."

Walking up to Bright, Benji grabbed onto his jacket and adjusted it. A black seemingly armored jacket. A pair of cargo shorts and a plaid shirt, his smile radiated through the dark glow in his eyes. Benji looked up and saw mystery in the shark, this was his second time with the universal version of the shark.

"So much strangeness in your eyes, what did you do and why did you have that armor, the answer is scaring me and making me ecstatic at the same time. Twenty five years ago you left me alone." Benji was begging already and knew that just as quickly the shark could leave him alone again. "So much has happened for me I only want to ask for how long it was for you."

"Same amount, it was an interesting time, I had my first regeneration and I am loving my body. This feels like a honeymoon and who better to spend it with you, how has this world been?" Bright asked as he looked down to Benji and smiled, the two of them were looking at each other in the moon lit light and they both were raising a few eyebrows with the construction workers around them.

"Well the Outsiders have been growing and I was the leader, now I'm just a freelance agent. I get my own money and get my ideas, they keep my immortality a secret and they make sure that I live. But maybe you would like to come back to my house?" Benji asked and Bright responded with a laugh, and then the clouds opened, the moonlight disappeared. Rain started to fall on them and the two rushed back.

...

The door was knocked open as the combined sharks pushed themselves in, to anyone else it would look like some sort of lovecraftian horror. While the two sharks were mashing into each other's faces and kissing as they barely managed to close the door with out, pushing away from each other.

Benji smiled as he pushed Bright on his couch and pushed himself on top wrapping his legs as he went front cowboy over the shark's crouch. Grabbing the shark's jacket, he pulled it off and the plaid shirt was quickly thrown off as well as a tee-shirt below that. Benji smiled and looked at Bright's chest.

"Not much muscle, but not much else there, I might crush you." Quipping Benji grabbed his shirt and pulled it off, he was semi-naked already and looking down that seemed to be half of the things that were semi as well. Benji cracked his fingers, and leaned down on Bright.

"So then Kagen, let me tell you how much I wanted to do this to you. Immortals should stay together; it works out far better doesn't it. I don't have to worry about you dropping and neither do you." Benji explained as he looked down to Bright, they both paused for a second. A tear was shed from Benji's eyes as he looked down and then he leaned down.

"What have I been doing, all this time, do we even know what we're doing. God, I nearly forgot about him, everything has become blurry like that. I can still see it, but I just gets fuzzier." Benji leaned into the chest of Bright, hearing the Kagens seemingly trademarked twin hearts. It was comforting hearing one beat right after the other, the two working together at half the energy. Yet it was double security, one could get stabbed and close itself off.

"I know all of it gets like that, you don't have a Kagen memory. Maybe we Kagens stick together so that we can cover everything, but you don't have a leash, you just bounce." Bright pondered as he wrapped his hands around Benji, the two cuddled as they sat laid down in the bed. Breathing, Benji laughed a bit.

"I was so angry at you for leaving, you just got up and left, nothing about it and left me in the dark. I felt so angry about it and I wanted to do something, but I didn't want to hurt anyone. I nearly forgot that everyone else died." The shark said as he looked down at the shark and then Bright smiled.

"The mortals do that to us, we're never careful enough around them. We never really do consider their lives, because we don't see them as mortal. We forget mortality." Bright smiled and looked up to Benji, at least after all this time they were finally reunited. "But even the immortal die, Kagens have thirteen lives, Riftwalkers can be killed with repeated attacks. And when an "immortal" dies, that is when the world ends for us."

"It must have been hard, a war against the Riftwalkers. I'm guessing, who died that set you straight?" Benji asked as he heard the hearts stop for a moment, the shark wasn't ready for that question.

"Many people, many mortals and immortals, the future, the past and just barely I managed to scrape up the details and fix it. Nearly everyone paid a price, but no more the Riftwalkers. And I can't remember any of it, that is all gone, something bad happened and I only remember one thing." Bright expanded on the past and in his eyes flashed all the deaths he saw.

"New York, she is coming." Bright let a tear fall down his eye and the two of them pondered over old memories. The two fell into sleep and then they just slept, nothing happening between them. The two immortal sharks, sleeping with each other.

...

Opening his eyes, something passed over his nose. It smelled savory and tasty, as it entered his nose and deposited smelling chemicals into his smell sensors. They activated electrical sensors and sent little signals through a nerve up his skull and into his brain where the neurons activated.

"Hey I smell something good, might make up for the serious case of blue balls I'm feeling." Benji whispered under his breath as he opened his eyes and adjusted himself up. Bright light coming off the sun and off the shiny buildings blasted into his eyes and he completely woke up.

"Oh god, I need to apply some exterior shading on the outside windows, those look amazing at night but kill me every morning." The shark nearly fell off his couch and then he did. Landing on the floor, a sword appeared in his hand in a flash. "No powers, bad, good kind of shock."

"One hundred years and you still can't completely control them?" Bright asked from the kitchen. He looked back and the shark was in the kitchen, a plate of omelets being formed by the stove. Bright was back in his shirt, yet Benji walked over everything still exposed from his upper half.

"Well now I can narrow it down to a category, I formed sword so that I could stab upwards. But look at this, who would consider this paradise. This is supposed to be a safehouse, but with the size of windows the paparazzi could take clear pictures that zoom in on my nipples." Benji started to rub then and turned towards the window, making booming noises as he trusted his chest forward. It wasn't particularly impressive.

"Watch out, don't want the big secret getting out. Well I'm sure that just one conspiracy theorist has seen you in newspapers, and seen you in real life. You might be immortal but you make a good one. Now, what is it like being a really dead man?" Bright looked over and Benji smiled as he walked over.

"Well every day you get up and wonder if your life is worth living on another day because you have seen it all before and the same thing happens, I find something new to live for." Benji said as he walked over and looked over the shoulder of the Kagen.

"And what would yesterdays be?" Bright asked as he scooped out some more egg mater onto the plate, it seemed to be quite the mass of chicken baby. Benji flushed that thought out as he looked into Bright's eyes, already a day with humanity and they looked amazing. The sadness was being hidden so more effectively, he had his touch with humanity back.

"Well I think you count." Benji wrapped his arms around Bright and then he kissed the shark's neck. Pulling back his eyes drifted over to the food. "And I think today's is that plate of eggs. Is that enough?"

"Well you know advanced metabolism, they don't like me taking our super compressed food onto planets, for fear that we might sell the secret, but luckily it doesn't seem that food is much a problem for you as well as money but neither for Koji or Twilight." Bright said as he finally cracked the last egg in the carton of forty-eight and started to scramble it.

"How do you know that?" Benji asked curiously as he watched Bright finish the egg, it was an egg buffet. Scrambled and broiled eggs, mixed in with sunny-side up and down eggs and all on a pile of twelve cheese omelets.

"I'm sort of on a reunion tour, and you were the last stop. This is where the band really reunites. Benji, Bright and their big fucking plate of eggs." Bright quipped as he turned the stove off and grabbed the eggs. With seeming balance, he walked forward and placed them on the table easily. Benji walked forward and then stopped at a desk, his hands behind his back as he looked at the breakfast.

"Well then this is quite the reunion, the eggs and the band back together, this is the breakfast before the show. We might have given quite the practice, but I always do better before an audience." Benji caused Bright to raise an eyebrow as he looked back as they looked over the breakfast.

...

"So then is this what you do all day?" Bright asked as he walked forward and looked through the crowd. People crowded the street, it was blocked off obviously and a market gathered. While the high rises might have been the picture of the city, the ground floor showed the extent of the new era.

"Hey this is what all the non-rich do, everyone goes down here. All the self-produced materials being sold, everyone smartened up. These are fresher and better and last longer." Benji explained as he shifted in and out between the large groups of crowd. "But give it time, the mortals always shift back and forth, give it time and the crowdedness of this will push people to supermarkets."

"Well then that settles things, you've probably seen a lot and done a lot; all of it must be so much for you." Bright explained as he put a few coins on the desk and grabbed a few fresh coins. Placing them in a bag, the two continued on through the crowd.

"Who knows, what happens to them. But I have the feeling that you might not need to see these people anymore. Might have to see some new Bostons, they might be a little in the past but you know spoilers. Seriously what are all of these people going to hear with the perception filter?" Bright spoke as they walked forward, more of phrasing the question with the end.

"Who knows, but you know we have other things to do."

...

Benji knelled down and put the flowers down onto the ground, in front of him, a memorial was in front of them. It was a massive statue of a lizard, breathing mask on his head. Martin was shaped in stone. A plate on it, filled with names, including Elliot, Alex Blake and Isen.

"Martin immortalized in stone, I guess this really is the only way that you might have stayed together. Shame." Bright commented as he looked at the statue, it was amazing. "Every world needs this, we need to spread this out and make sure that everyone has a place to immortalize the one Outsider."

"Yeah, does it seem to be that one Outsider always dies." Benji sighed a moved his feet, he looked up to the statue and memorized it. This would be the last time he saw Martin, for now. He breathed and took the image in his head, he needed that, Martin was still his mortality chain, he needed it.

"Molly, Martin, Elliot, Jackson and Eric, all of them are better now and they did what they needed to." Bright reflected as he looked forward, the city was beautiful. Everything was, this was a time for mankind and this was truly an amazing time. And looking around, even surrounded with death, the place was truly an amazing place.

Pink pedals blew through the field as the winds of fall blew through the city square. People looked up through the square and could see Martin in all of his glory. He was there for everyone to look, and as pedals blew through the two looked in peace.

...

"So then this is the world famous sea-salt ice cream that I've been missing out in all the other universes?" Bright asked as he swung his feet from the top of a building, about two hundred feet up and more than a couple stories then they should have been aloud. Still sitting down on the JP Rockefeller building always gave the best views of the sunset over the bay.

Looking out tiny planes reflected in the sunset as they passed by and Benji said nothing as he leaned against Bright with the blue colored pop in his mouth. It was perfect enough without words. Bright leaned his head over and ran it against Benji's dark long poufy hair. The two of them breathed slowly and looked forward against the picturesque view out through Boston.

"Last day in Boston sounds good, which universe are we going to first?" Benji asked as he leaned against the shark and nuzzled him in the neck. Bright giggled as he thought about the future.

"I don't know maybe the universe where everyone has three legs and that doesn't mean a big penis." Bright giggled as he adjusted himself on the chair, looking out he took another bit of the popsicle. It dropped on his shorts and he looked at it. "I think we might have to wash my pants first however."

...

As he walked back from his laundry room, putting the last load of clothes in and getting ready to transport to other universes. And looking forward, it appeared that Bright had made himself comfortable on the couch, leaning over, Bright pulled out the couch into the bed hybrid it was.

The shark laid on the bed in a white tee-shirt, his body nearly naked except for a layer of blue boxers. Looking down Benji smiled at the Kagen as he leaned down against the couch and pushed himself over, Bright nearly had the air knocked out of him as the shark landed next to him. The two of them kissed and then Benji looked down. "I can see your excited, but let's not waste any time, I'm immortal, I can take the pain." Benji said as he twisted and over and quickly pushed away his other layers of clothes. Grabbing onto the shirt he pulled Bright's off and left the Kagen naked on his couch.

"I have been waiting for you for enough time, let's just go. But why don't you give me just a little spit?" Bright seemingly commanded. Benji pushed himself down and grabbed the little fly of Bright's boxer and pulled the tool out. Even in its semi-hard state, it was nearly five inches tall already and about four inches thick.

"Wow, this regeneration impresses." Benji complemented and leaned down onto the dick. Taking them into his mouth, he was careful with his teeth as he started to suck on the head, tasting the taste of Kagen salt. Benji sucked on the balls and tried to get all the sweat Kagen musk off them as he took a few more inches into his mouth.

Pulling it in deeper, he started to such on it more and started to rub his tongue on the vainly underside, a bit of pre-cum releasing from the pisshole and into the shark's awaiting mouth. As it grew in his mouth, the Outsider shark reached down with his and grasped a hold of the bottom of the shaft.

He covered the head and top of shaft with a layer of spittle as he worked to lube it up the best he could. And then taking it all into his mouth, pushing himself down and feeling just touch the back of his throat. Benji pulled back and felt confident. With just a line of spit connecting them, Bright smiled.

"That was worth every single moment I waited, let's see how good your ass is after a hundred years." Bright suggested a command and Benji followed as he pushed himself around and bracing himself with the front of the couch, put his hole right over the tent pole.

"Now that is a sight for sore eyes, how playful." Bright commented and touched it with his finger for a second. And then he grabbed onto Benji's waist and pulled the shark down. The spit covered dick passed through Benji's ring and then his second ring and then into his hole. Smelling the mix of lube and Bright's musk in the air. Feeling his shallow and deep breaths, Benji moaned as he felt his ass penetrated. Bright was in disbelief, as he slid in deeper it felt like a perfect hole for him. It was seemingly unbelievable tight.

"Oh god, I haven't felt this in ages how are you so tight?" Bright cried out in between his quicker breaths, he gasped for air as he adjusted. This hole was like heaven, he could feel every muscle pushing against him, everything rubbing against it, it was like a rubber band pushing against everything.

"Every time I'm reborn I reset to my condition right when I died... my first... death... and I was far more a virgin then." Benji cried out as he started to ride the Bright train. Pushing himself down and feeling everything in him, the shark soon felt his own flag pole at full mast.

Bright felt the hole sucking at his dick, almost trying to suck his cum out and as the muscles rubbed against everything, the Kagen shark hilted himself and pushed as hard as he could. Reaching around he grabbed Benji's dick and started to rub the head.

And then both of them came, shark cum started to fly out of their dicks and into Benji's ass and into the air. And then pulling out, Bright looked as it flowed out onto the couch, not that it mattered stain or not. And then the two of them fell asleep. And like that with the city in the background, the moon fell back under the ground and the sun rose again.

This time both of them were dressed and Bright stood at the door, the power in the apartment was cut off and then like that the two of them ran out of the apartment, adventure calling them. The door shut and the credits started to roll, the universe hopping adventure began.

And all the while, on the table was a tiny bottle covered by a tea towel. Under it was a bowl and in it little bottles filled with liquid. Syringes near it and a collection of bright blue collared pills, covered in a layer and etched into it the symbol M. It seemed that some of the liquid was recently used and some of it was old and dried.
