Moonlight shines down on the outdoor stage with its surrounding rings of hot tubs as a red haired vixen with two toned pink fur takes to the microphone in a traditional hula outfit nervously. The audience both does and doesn't help as the Squeaky Tiki provides a variety of services for its customers in that the place is a bath house, a spa, a hotel, a night club and a casino on its public web page in 2112 Nu-Zu City but it is also a bordello although this service is only for those clients from the mainland (Nu-Zu City is a mega city formerly known as the state of Hawaii) and those who live in the city who know the service exist and how to ask for it. In the audience are numerous corpulent human males, some ancient by the look of them, attended right now by other girls on staff including the androids who, by law, are the only allowed human looking workers and residents allowed. Nu-Zu City is a pleasure palace for the richest citizens of the world and they are pampered by the semi-sentient beings both organic and mechanical that they can use and abuse to their hearts content.

Familiar faces in the crowd are few but well known to Tanya Clooney, once the singing sensation of the American Union if not the world and now stuck as a "Special Entertainer" at the Squeaky Tiki. Stalking about in a reinforced black leather duster and nothing else outside of the strap for his katana's sheath and the fact his legs and arms are both chrome, of which only the legs of course can be plainly seen, is Fenryx Morgan, a self styled "Samurai of the Streets" despite the fact that he is thoroughly American, of whom deep down inside Tanya knows that even though for now they are no longer lovers (which tarnished her career she bitterly reminds herself) the cybernetic ally enhanced wolf will rush to her aid if need be; something Tanya is deeply thankful for as her lust still pines for him between her legs. Also stalking about but not as openly as Fenryx is Yuri Kage, a ninja wolf bitch who is also nominally security, like Fenryx sometimes deigns to do to earn his keep and get access to some free sex when he can arrange it, but Tanya only catches glimpses of the dark furred Japanese she wolf as her species was reconstructed into anthropomorphic form for by the same company that created all to most hybrids in the world: Moreau Bio-Technical Incorporated.

One of the bamboo hot tubs, they all are to keep with the general tiki theme of the establishment, has three naked anthro females in it teasing the humans around them with their nakedness, specifically Carrie Blank, a skunk female known as a technical genius and expert sharpshooter with her own custom blaster rifle, Sonya Sputnik, a Russian accented snow leopardess technomage and Mary Gallows, a female sheep whose fleece is kept meticulously short to keep hers looking sexy outside of her power armor. Sonya and Carrie are particularly frisky with each other with Mary joining them reluctantly as Mary does flirt with Fenryx. The gleam of the moonlight as well as the tiki torches off the chrome of his cyber limbs and his Vyzor, a kind of combination cybernetic radio communications device and mirror shades goggles set into one skull that is all the rage now, is attractive to many in the compound, male or female.

In another tub a middle aged male goat, ruggedly handsome cuddles with a red panda who seems to be a Buddhist monk of some stripe. The pair loo very handsome together which annoys one or more fellow audience members who are fundamentalists in their faith. But they have just warded the place and are relaxing so the management isn't about to disturb them as Sato Lu, the panda, and Jack Kross, settle in to enjoy the show.

Seated at opposite ends of a tiki bar near the are two personages that Tonya recognizes as dangerous to be in such close proximity to one another. In feminine eminently conservative attire is a more traditionally colored vixen named Ellen de Gausse, a troubleshooter and semi-freelance agent of Justice, Incorporated a law firm handling Judicial services for many area in the American Union including Nu-Zu City. Opposite Ellen in black bikini is a pink and black female ferret named Ethel Murmur but is better known as "Mystery Misery" a rogue esper who has done a number of crimes around the islands that make up the city.

The band, made up of androids in 60's Hawaiian attire has been playing classical tiki music from Martin Denny, Les Baxter, Arthur Lyman, the Tikiyaki Orchestra, Kava Kon and the Waitiki-7 up until now. The paying customers as a whole aren't interested in any new music, just old favorites without embellishments but done as good as the originals. Tanya, who has the same vyzor as Fenryx starts off her set with a cover of Sade's "Smooth Operator" the words of the song scroll across the plexiglas for her to read even though she has rehearsed the number dozens of times before.

"Are you really sure it's safe for you to be out in public after the stunt you pulled last week?" Fenryx asks of Ethel in a harsh whisper. "You know who Ellen works for..."

"Relax, Fen," Ethel coos in a British accent. "I'm using my psychic ability to keep out of her sight specifically. That and she's here for you primarily. She's off duty."

"More mind reading?" Fen growls in a low tone.

"Oh, yes, I've been a naughty ferret," Ethel giggles. "Spank me?"

"It think I just might," Fen says as he grabs the ferret and makes for his bungalow.

Only Tanya and Yuri can see who Fen is carrying off as Tanya really gets into her set, putting on as good a show as she can. Her rendition of "Smooth Operator" is so stirring even Ellen is distracted and doesn't notice that what is now supposed to be "her" wolf leaving. Yuri texts a chiding message to Tanya who just squeezes her bobs seductively as a kind of razzing to the ninja.

Fenryx has a lofty bungalow on what amounts to the Squeaky Tiki estate to live in as part of his arrangement. As long as the decor is mostly tiki he can decorate however he likes as the abundant framed prints of the almost forgotten Brad "Tiki Shark" Parker can attest to as they make their way to the bedroom, Fen nods appreciatively to one of his favorites "Bela Lugosi has a Zombie" as if the long dead actor was toasting his arrival.

Ethel renders herself nude rather quickly as Fenryx genuflects before a shrine to the Irish Goddess Morrigan and the Japanese god Susano-o as he respectfully places his katana in a rack of honor. After securing what has become his signature weapon, AsriLung, Fenryx takes off his armored duster and joins the ferret in the bedroom. She uses telekinesis to fondle his package as he walks into the room, smiling at him as she spreads herself.

He fondles her with the cold metal fingers of his metallic hands which elicits moans from the ferret as he knows how to tease her with cybernetic limbs. The android band starts to play some spy jazz as Tanya takes a much needed break. Starting with the James Bond theme and then rolling into the Mission: Impossible theme the music provides almost the perfect backdrop as Ethel steals the dead CEO's ID for a few hours and makes some substantial withdrawals to a secret off shore bank account that doesn't really exist except in cyber space. The paper trail through shell corporations will take days to go through and will cause Ellen some headaches as the company that her on retainer will be implicated through a back door Carrie Blank created for Ethel Murmur in return for sexual favors and a cut of the proceeds she makes off with when she pulls a stunt like this.

"Hello, there, sexy" Ethel coos in a British accent as she pops up behind Carrie and gropes her breasts.

"What did you pull this time, Ethel?" Carrie asks but only half wanting to really know. "And what's my cut gonna be?"

"Oh, nothing much," Ethel playfully fibs. "I just took advantage of a temporary situation." They watch as the CEO is taken out covered by a sheet which rigor mortis has made into a tent situation. "I have notification systems in place thanks to you whenever Fen's feed gets tapped."

"And you made it into a pay per view?" Carrie ask to which Ethel just nods. "Who's he fucking now? Ellen? He does like to live dangerously doesn't he?"

"Isn't there a death warrant on Comrade Fenryx?" Sonya asks in a heavy Russian accent to which Carrie and Ethel shrug their shoulders. "Und doesn't Ellen de Gausse haft a reputation for seducing victims?"

"They sometimes call her the Mata Hari assassin for a reason," Ethel states. "By the way, who here has not had a ride on his pole?" Carrie and Sonya wrap their arms around Mary and prominently display the shaved ewe to Ethel. "Mary, Mary, quite contrary..." Ethel teases.

"Why...why do you ask?" Mary inquires nervously. "It's not like I'm a virgin I just haven't had sex with him...yet."

"We'll have to arrange something," Ethel says with a dark grin as Tanya retakes the stage in a slinky black dress more befitted a night club torch singer of the 50s and 60s. "OK, what's Tanya gonna sing now?"

"Something good and sad I hope," Connie says with a smile that quickly fades as Ellen storms past them as Ethel slips beneath the water temporarily. "You better hide they've started the trace already." Then she groans as Ethel eats out Carrie. "You keep that up, I'll try to run interference."

Almost as a joke, Tanya and the band goes into a production of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal" which draws a glare from Ellen but giggles from the girls.

"I need to get going, but we'll see what we can do to spread some mint jelly on you for Fen," Ethel teases before she casually licks Mary's breasts and leaves.

Ethel gets into a pair of black boots with a jumpsuit to match she steals away into the night. Ellen is not too far behind as she checks the security cameras before going out. Evading the sight of duly appointed law officer androids, Ethel keeps to the shadows.

When Ethel gets to a slightly secluded spot she first levitates herself and then flies off to her final destination on another island, much to Ellen's dismay. On the roof of a chemical factory Ethel lands behind a guard station currently occupied by a fat pig guard looking at porn in addition to his normal monitor duties. Upon reading his mind, Ethel really doesn't find much of great interest but he does run a few systems of interest from his station and that alone motivates her to interact with him in a way much more advantageous to her than it will be for him when all is said and done.

With a firm plan of action in mind Ether telekinetic ally vibrates her body to slip into the guard station while clouding his mind so he cannot see her. The guard feels his fly open by a phantom hand preceding an equally phantom mouth performing fellatio on him. He grips the arms of his chair as she sucks him to climax, all the while exerting her mind to dominate his own.

Using her control over him, Ethel learns where the computers containing pertinent research data are up and running, who's monitoring them and what security measures are involved in protecting them. Ether then goes on to convince him he was daydreaming slightly while giving himself one Hell of a hand job.

As the guard shakes his head to clear out perceived cobwebs Ethel slips inside the building and makes sure her vyzor is in place. The vyzor, which like everyone else's can attach or detach directly from her skull, projects an virtual heads up display that only she can see like an interactive map floating wherever she likes that displays the movement of security robots and her ultimate destination. It also acts as a receiver to Sonya and Carrie back at the Squeaky Tiki.

In the background Ethel can hear Tanya cover the classic song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" as she dodges security drones. Ellen in the meantime receives word about the very chemical plant Ethel is in and how it was a property of the dead guy from earlier. To say it doesn't take long for the vixen to make the intuitive leap as to where Ethel went it putting it mildly as she boards a water taxi; a fact Sonya warns Ethel about as the leopardess uses her magic to scry on the troubleshooter.

Within her own mind a countdown has begun till she has to worry about the corporate agent so Ethel prepares herself for the fact she may need to use her telekinetic ability to take out a few sentries as she makes her way to a terminal with the access she wants. Espers like Ethel sometimes do corporate espionage like this to keep themselves solvent. The plan is rather simple: get in, make copies of whatever bleeding edge tech specs she can find to shop the intel to the company's competitors.

Unfortunately for Ethel, one of the delays she was hoping for, namely that the guards will detain Ellen enough to buy her extra time to snoop is not going to happen as the firm Ellen works for has a working relationship with the security company guarding the facility in question. Simply put both agencies are different departments of the same umbrella company. All Ellen has to do is swipe her ID badge and the gates open automatically for her.

First thing to be done by Ellen when she walks into the plant's front door is connect her own vyzor with the local computer matrix or grid as it is called now, mentally inputting her codes to be patched into the virtual grid. Ethel has done everything in her power to render herself invisible to all sensors; only subtle clues will betray her presence and even then only to those who know what to look for. To her consternation Ellen has only a vague idea as as to where Ethel is; Fenryx would know exactly where she is, Ellen remarks to herself bitterly but she's not calling him in because even though he's too noble a scoundrel to call it in ever, Ellen would still consider it a favor she would have to eventually repay and that to her is unacceptable.

As an added distraction Fenryx has joined Tanya on the channel that both females are tuned into via their vyzors. They start by singing "Leather and Lace" originally written and performed by Stevie Knicks and Don Henley which elicits a face on Ellen that surprises Ethel who can see the vixen a lot easier than the reverse. Registering in Ellen's expressions is annoyance and exasperation rather than any anger or affectionate amusement that one would expect from someone that gets as intimate as she does with the lupine ronin.

Ethel herself is a "friend with benefits" of Fenryx and the song causes her to giggle as she knows that somewhere deep inside the slovenly samurai is a seed of love that still sleeps in the wolf's heart for the whiny vixen primadona. He's the Knight in dirty armor to her bratty princess that Tanya loves to play. The simple fact is that Ethel gets the subtle irony of them singing this particular song while Ellen definitely does not.

They follow this up Owl City's "Saltwater Room" which causes Ellen to roll her eyes and nearly sends Ethel into a laughing fit. Back at the Squeaky Tiki Sato Lu has dressed in his vestments to conduct an impromptu wedding with Fen on stage in and Elvis outfit singing the soundtrack to "Blue Hawaii" and Tanya giving the play by play. Ethel has to hide herself somewhere soundproof but both she and Ellen bust a gut laughing as Fenryx hams it up for the delight of the audience.

Ellen starts ticking off things she wants to do to Fenryx for putting her off her game later but quickly regains her composure. Ethel is still highly amused as she makes it to her destination to find a white rabbit laboratory assistant working late for some reason. He's running simulations on the computers while his MP3 player is in a set of speakers blaring Insane Clown Posse as he works.

For her own amusement Ethel waits until Violent J or Shaggy 2 Dope starts rapping one of their "love songs" till she gives him head. Not every mentalist uses Ethel's method of mind control but on males Ethel has found giving him a blow job tends to make a hostile take over of the head that is supposed to do the actual thinking that much easier as the head she services may not do all their thinking but it usually colors their decision making one way or another. Despite the fact that the rabbit considers himself thoroughly gay, although to be fair to women he was a virgin, he falls under Ethel's sway as easily as the pig did.

Impish thoughts fill Ethel's mind as she decides, on a whim, to make the attempt to make the bunny bi to help her access what she wants. "Oooooh Kay," Sonya remarks. "I am thinking somebody around here has a major hard on for Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers." Then to Ethel: "But thanks for opening ze back doo to let us in."

"Yeah, thanks!" Carrie says with a giggle. "So when's George stopping by?" Then she sighs and gets serious. "All kidding aside this is one detailed data fortress. For sheer accuracy and attention to detail I gotta give the programmer props."

"This is definitely somebody's labor of love," Ethel states. "I almost feel bad about what we may have to do..."

The three share a conspiratorial grin and activate their custom weaponized virus programs that allow them to break down walls and de-rez intruder murderer programs, otherwise known as IMPs, that act as security in places like this only to find that the parameters of the fortress overwrite the appearance scripts of their weapon programs. In fact, despite how they might rez in other sims, in this sim they manifest as ray guns. But thankfully that's all they changed as the destructive properties do what they were made to do as they destroy an IMP made to look like Robby the Robot.

All IMPs in this particular part of the sim display as 50's or 60's style robots and aliens of varying degrees of attack and defense abilities. Fortunately for the electronic invaders the key codes from the dead exec haven't been made invalid yet so they are free to go wherever they please. The trio rummage through tons of data caches in various rooms ranging from family photos and technical specs to various types of porn, some of which is rather disturbing as when they find hidden caches of streaming video of snuff films in certain places, but it all leads them to a door straight out of some fantasy role playing game and despite themselves, curiosity promps the threesome to investigate, especially since it was a very well hidden trap door.

Passing through the portal the girls can almost hear John Cleese in their heads saying: "And not for something completely different" as the scenery changes from kitschy sci-fi to the corridors of a dimly lit dungeon. The clothing of their avatars change as well from space explorers to downright medieval fantasy. Ethel is a thief, Sonya is a wizard and Carrie is a warrior in the style of generic fantasy gaming.

"Did we just find somebody's home brew campaign?" Carrie asks as she admires the chain mail outfit. "Well, I guess I should be thankful it isn't a bikini."

"It might look good on you..." Sonya teases.

"You want me to slash you slice dontcha?" Carrie growls as she motions with her ax. "Are you getting anything, Ethel?"

"Don't rust your links, Carrie," Ethel shouts back good naturedly. "I'm seeing some traps and am working on disarming them."

They delve deeper and deeper into the data dungeon to discover some rather juicy morsels as well as some nasty IMPs to defend them as classic fantasy role playing game monsters. As creepy as it is down there this is where they hide the really god stuff. But one thing they discover chills them to the bone.

Silently the three witness but cannot participate with or interfere with a ritual sacrifice scene where the girl is slaughtered and reanimated. This happens over and over again giving the impression that someone in the company is or was dabbling in necromancy. Ethel and Carries discover data detailing a chemical compound that would allow a virus to be completed that would make the zombies of the various horror survival films look like prototypes.

As sick and disturbing as this discovery is, the three hear screaming in their audio from the Squeaky Tiki. Sonya can and does ghost herself in the simulation so as to take a look around their hot tub and comes back with disturbing news. Apparently the area that the cat and the skunk are sitting in, which is still in the hot tub the ferret left to go to the facility, is in the midst of a random zombie attack as a very scared Tanya gives a different play by play.

Fenryx's face shows grim determination as he draws his katana and faces down a horde of zombie islanders with a few of them stiffly performing the Samoan fire staff dance as they approach. Shadows and light play in and around the scene to actually highlight Fenryx as if he were some sort of cyber samurai hero facing off against the slavering horde of monsters attacking the village under the protection of his daimyo. It's in this moment Tanya finds her courage to sing and bolster her champion with a song she would sing for him.

The song in question is a slightly altered version of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero" and the alteration comes from a simple lyrical substitution. Instead of asking: "Where's the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?" she sings: "Where's the streetwise samurai to fight the rising odds?" Fenryx smiles as he hears the song and starts dicing up zombie sushi with increased vigor, and then after that he starts to sing a version of Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

A hail of gunfire from the bodyguards of the more affluent customers of the Squeaky Tiki does little to push back the rising tide of the undead. Fenryx calls out: "Storm Dragon Slash!" with great fervor and zombies fall like harvested wheat before the sickle. Like a reaping whirlwind, Fenryx slices every zombie around him and while the gun men need to hit the brains of the ghouls to destroy them, Fenryx just needs to cut them and his sword does the rest.

Barely seen amid the rising flood of undead is an Asian wolf bitch ninja that finishes off any zombie her samurai counterpart doesn't fully kill on the first pass. Yuri fights with same grim determination that Fenryx does but she makes more of an effort to keep hidden. Using secret techniques her clan developed over a millennium ago to deal with the undead Yuri is just as effective as her American counterpart and she cane even ups the ante by giving him a fondle to his scrotum when she passes by him.

Yuri is a lot more mobile than Fenryx as she dashes about the battlefield. Fenryx keeps close to the stage and stops to meditate for a moment with his sword up raised. Tanya is getting up the nerve to comment to him when the streetwise samurai takes a step forward towards a group of zombies approaching and makes an air slash at them yelling: "Storm Dragon Blast!"

A corridor of bloody hued energy streaks away from Fenryx and slams into the zombies; tearing them apart. With few exceptions everybody blinks and stares at Fen as he runs around the stage to chop apart another gang of zombies. Mary slips away in the confusion so she can put on her power armor.

Jack had to take a moment to create the necessary wards but he and Sato help to establish a kind of barrier that hedges out the worst of the group and do their best to drive the remaining zombies away. Fenryx easily wipes out those few zombies remaining as Mary gets her power suit operational. Mary blasts away with her arm cannons in armor that fits her very snugly to say the least.

Mary flies about with guns blazing in her armor which makes her look like a satyr centurion. The few remaining zombies on the fringe of the warded area soon move on to easier targets as almost everyone moves back inside for their own safety. Sonya and Carrie are mentally elsewhere and missed the whole show.

Gray aliens have been active throughout the whole scene, moving about under cloaks of invisibility that blend their forms with the surroundings as extreme camouflage. Once or twice during the fight a couple of them had to move rather quickly to avoid trouble. Both Fenryx and Yuri discovered them early on but for now leave them be as besides using implements that look like cameras to record the events they are keeping to themselves and out of everybody's way.

In the hotel portion of the Squeaky Tiki a rave is just getting under way as Tanya is dressed in a flashy mesh party dress with neon bra and panty highlights that periodically change color. Fenryx and Yuri are also in mesh but in a much more Gothic fashion as Yuri wears a black bodysuit of what looks to be fishnets and little else and Fen has a black mesh muscle shirt over urban camo pants. Yuri manages to drag Fen backstage as Tanya performs Caramell Dancing to the delight of the crowd.

Multi-colored neon lights flash overhead creating weird shadows at odd angles. Fenryx leans on the back stage as Tanya sings Kim Reid's "Medicine" while Yuri kneels in front of the Western timber wolf and gleefully gives him a blow job. Ironically Tanya starts to perform her rendition of Stevie Knick's "Beauty and the Beast" as Fen pins Yuri to the wall and starts to fuck her as he eats her nips.

Yuri softly moans as she's violated by Fenryx in the manner he likes to make love in places other than a proper bedroom. Kunoichi training is the least of her abilities but in this case the seducer is entranced but the would-be victim. Both wolves are professionals in their own way so in the back of her mind Yuri is telling herself she shouldn't be doing this even though her clan is practically dead and she needs new pups to train and if they are her own then their loyalty will be genuine by the law of the pack.

Fenryx, despite all of his vices, and sex is just one of them, is a very honorable warrior, on who follows Bushido closely as a set of guidelines for life. Even visitors from Japan find that while his take on the code is unique unto himself it is very sincere. So sincere in fact that one of the largest manufacturers of military hardware and provider of mercenaries, Arazano, based in Tokyo, has been trying to recruit him for years and even though he rebuffs them they still affectionately refer to him as the Gaijin Ronin. But one thing in Yuri's recollections that seals this activity as being alright to do is the fact she asked her elders for permission to breed with Fenryx and got a resounding affirmative in response to the request.

Even Ellen is unaware that her hold over the wolf is not as complete as she thinks it is as Yuri is secretive about her trysts with him. And the fact that he's putting on over on Ellen is incentive enough for Fenryx to keep his muzzle shut. Unlike Yuri, Fen's deep feelings for the bitch are unquestioned in his mind as Fenryx cares for her more than a friend but quite a lover even though he greatly enjoys their times together.

Fortunately for the current situation neither the ninja nor the ronin want to have this relationship as it has been fully realized out in the open. If Yuri becomes pregnant with his children Fen has already promised to take care of his pups and it's a promise Yuri knows he'll do his best to keep. Besides being the honorable option to pursue, they are both wolves and wolves take care of their own or at least that's what has been ground into them since they were pups.

Carrie and Sonya are still sitting in the hot tub nude and staring blankly out into space indicating the two of them are still mentally in the Global Grid. Mary is in her armor standing sentry with a big grin on her face. After all,her suit has a set of special vibrator attachments that Carrie installed for just such situations.

Meanwhile back in the cyberspace of the local grid the girls have encountered an IMP room that encompasses the dreams and nightmares of every naughty tentacle lover, past, present and future. Inky black tentacles wave like an undersea forest from the floor, the ceiling and the walls and as if that weren't bad enough the girls occasionally see tentacles pop out of the very air, wave around and then disappear as if they had never been there.

Behind their backs a quartet of burly tendrils grabs all three girls and pushes them forward sans clothing. All three are suspended spread eagle and subsequently molested by the tentacles with a few other interedimensional buggers molesting their breasts. Despite their predicament the ladies are actually amused and aroused by what is happening to them.

"I suppose this was inevitable," Ethel telepathically giggles to her compatriots. "I think this company actually sells a virtual reality simulation like this as a side line project."

"Different company under the same umbrella corporation," Carrie texts back. "I have this very program at home."

"Is this the one I like to play with back at the bungalow?" Sonja asks telepathically using her technomagic.

The tentacles molesting them start pulsing and making their bodies dance as Tanya gets another request to perform "Caramell Dancing" and that song provides the rhythm for the tentacles working on them.

"LMFAO!!!" Carrie texts to the other two who telepathically roar with laughter in agreement.

"This gives me an idea, darlings," Sonya states telepathically and starts to use the motions of the tentacles to help her cast a spell. She sings a couple of songs after getting a degree of control over the tentacles assaulting her. First the Pointer Sisters's "Automatic" to get that control and then the Vengaboys's "Cheeka Bow Bow" to initiate what she wants.

"It figures," Ethel mentally sighs sarcastically, "Leave it to the Technomancer to figure out a way to turn this to our advantage."

"Just make sure you swallow when they climax." Sonya directs as she allows her mouth to be filled again. "It'l be worth it."

"HEY!!" Carrie texts. "My cybermodem has increased access to their system. WTF did you do?"

"Hidden in the lyrics I sung," Sonya explains. "Were spells to give us as much access if not more than they are getting from us. Ingesting cum will allow us to download data big time."

"Which my data vaults will then store to sell later," Carrie texts. "I LOVE YOU!!!"

"We'll settle those accounts later, darling," Sonya giggles telepathically. "But one thing I need to while we wait for the data dump." Her tone turns darkly amused. "And that's make things harder for certain bitch."

Back in the plant a point defense gun almost gets a head shot on Ellen. Sonya knows the troubleshooter is too sharp for such a simple trick but it does put her on notice that someone not so friendly to her is in charge of the security systems. Darkly amused herself, Ellen texts a song request to Tanya as a kind of retort: Madonna's "Die Another Day".

Tanya honors her request but gets a measure of revenge by doing songs in a random order. Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better" from "The Spy Who Loved Me" gets a reaction from the speakers that infuriates Ellen: mocking laughter. Vowing to fix her when she does was she plans to do to Fenryx when this caper is over Ellen angrily presses on.

Fenryx contacts Ethel and tests her to ask if she would like him to do Jonathan Coulton's "Skullcrusher Mountain" and some of the male sung Bond theme songs in between sets with Tanya. In order to further infuriate Ellen the answer is a resounding "YES!!!" Ellen is almost beside herself when he does the song as she text him: "Just you wait till I get back! >:("

Unfortunately this only encourages him as he and Tanya do a version of the "Inspector Gadget" theme from the original cartoon series that almost kills Ellen with embarrassment as the laughter continues. They follow this up with a version of Rockafella's song for the one PBS children's game show bases on the Carmen Sandie go series of computer games. Finally Fen does a cover of Joey Scarbury's "Greatest American Hero" from the television show of the same name.

Ellen moves through the facility like ghost, avoiding cameras and security robots as if she were the intruder. While the whole thing grates on her nerves Ellen also takes it a a re-training oppurtunity and in the spirit of the game she is determined to have a little fun. Sonya catches glimpses of her but not enough to determine her location.

Honestly, Ellen is more concerned with property damage than Sonya as it will be used to grade her performance. Better performance reports mean bigger bonuses and there is only one thing Ellen really loves outside of herself and that's money. Fenryx is a pleasant and at times necessary distraction but if the bounty on his head gets big enough, Ellen will betray him and not even blink about it as she can always get another boyfriend and if it takes a bit to replace the real world interaction she gets with a real male she has a fully stocked and operational virtual reality station for a reason.

Ellen ponders this as she waits a moment in the space between industrial sized mixing vats with a maze of connecting tubes, some large enough for a person to swim through, providing a jungle gym if she needs it. After she check her virtual map Ellen decides to use the pipes to get to the higher levels to reach her prey. From a tactical standpoint it makes sense as it is safer than the stairs for the most part; elevators are simply death traps waiting to happen in Ellen's mind.

Sonya is many things but a fool is not one of them as she virtually enjoys the tender mercies of the tentacles. Ellen gets scalded with chemical burns by a random venting of the pipe she's climbing on. Through the shared cyber link all three ladies can hear the painful scream and smirk amongst themselves.

Grimacing to herself, Ellen is even more determined to make Ethel pay. She is more attentive to her surroundings to avoid further scaldings. There is no pattern that Ellen can determine but there a precursor signs she can watch out fur.

A stray thought runs into Ellen's head about the vents in that they could be a security measure unto themselves as the pipes get progressively warmer the higher she goes. Eventually Ellen needs to abandon the pipe route as she starts getting electrical shocks that are slowly escalating to dangerous levels. Then she enters one of many server rooms that need to be kept cool and dark for the heath of the computer servers that keep the site's website and local grid active.

Banks of hard drives stretch out for what would seem miles if the room were properly lit. Coolant breezes wafting in from vents in the ceiling, the floors and the walls keep the area a constant fifty degrees Fahrenheit which is chilly for most but Ellen's fur takes most of the edge off that chill however, it's the darkness that really gets to her.

It's not pitch black in the area Ellen is stumbling through as there are faint lights on the floors and the computers themselves that allows her night vision to function well enough but the shadows in here are long and they sometimes appear to move which works on the vixen's psyche. Even if part of her knows it cannot be, she still almost sees monsters lurking about and the fact that some jerk likes pumping the sound system in here with Nox Arcana, Midnight Syndicate and other forms of spooky instrumental music doesn't help to calm herself down.

Twin pinpoints of angry red lights prompts Ellen to draw her pistol until she realizes it's the lights of the thermal imaging cameras used to monitor this space. Once a sense of panic subsides only to replaced by another as it dawns on her that the same jerk that turned the security against her could bery well know now where she is. Sonya doesn't have to as a human guard confronts Ellen.

"Hey, you! Let's see some ID!" A pacific islander in the uniform of the company Justice Inc. dismantled to take over this facility barks at her.

"Who are you?" Ellen demands to know nervously. "Your company no longer exists! No human is allowed in Nu-Zu City except as a paying guest. What are you?"

"New Zoo City?" The guard says in an incredulous inquiry. "This is Honolulu...what are you doing, freak?"

"Testing a theory, human," Ellen growls as she turns on a special flashlight geared towards painting a target with light that is too faint for humans eyes but more than enough for hybrid eyes like hers. "I thought as much, Jack, you're dead!"

"Excuse me!?!" The guard thunders. "I feel fine, we were invaded the other day by a rival company, they claimed we no longer had the contract for this place..."

"That was ten years ago, human," Ellen growls. "2012 was a big year; lots of change. Maybe no all of it good, but that's probably when you died..."

"I'M NOT DEAD!!!" The guard roars.

"Control? Ellen here," Ellen says through the cyber phone built into her vyzor. "We have a situation here at the Moreau Bio-Tech plant. Supernatural situation...look I found a ghost, send an exorcist over here will ya? Jack Kross is good..."

"Who the Hell are you talking to?!" The ghost yells. "You'll deal with me..."

"You no longer have authority here!" Ellen screams back. "I am Ellen de Gausse, special agent with Justice Incorporated..."

"You're one of THEM!!!" The ghost yells as he draws his gun and fires at Ellen except the bullets don't do a damn thing.

"Ha!" Ellen thunders. "As impotent as a poor man in a court of law! Your time is gone human!"

While Ellen was having her little "chat" Ethel, Sonya and Carrie were ingesting digital cum from the tentacles. Carrie takes the information downloaded to a secluded data haven whose physical location is actually in Cuba which is on the few remaining islands in the Caribbean that remains independent of the almost omnipresent and omnioppressive American Union. However, what none of the three realize yet is that part of that package they stole is a fully translated and digital copy of the infamous Necronomicon which isn't supposed to exist but Moreau Bio-Technincal has it and is using it in their research.

Also included are notes on reanimation by Charles Dexter Ward which has been used to create the zombies that have gone on rampages throughout the islands. In fact one of the larger vats being constantly agitated on the work floor dedicated to industrial bio-chemicals is this formula put into mass production. The fact that this is highly illegal goes without saying and Moreau Incorporated is fully willing to kill to keep its secrets locked away for their exclusive use.

Information like that is tightly regulated within the company and anytime someone manages to get access to it an alert email is sent to certain people. One of those is a permanent guest in Nu-Zu City and upon getting alert sends out an order for wet work for all involved in the theft. The agent this assignment is given to is none other than Ellen de Gausse.

Ellen gets her new assignment in the form of a text scrolled across the lenses of the mirror shade goggles of her vyzor. She does not respond to it as she knows what it is she needs to do but rather watches for Ethel. Her gun is too noisy for this so she takes her jia jian or butterfly swords and stalks the ferret.

Carrie and Sonya log out immediately to get out of the water and into their rented bungalow. Mary tags along as she always does as an android waitress just watches them and notes to itself to have a talk with Ellen later. Ethel logs out too but she's still in the facility.

To most everyone else, Ethel is invisible; her passage on the way out is like that of ghost. But she finds heavy security robots on the roof that can see her and open fire. Ethel fires back with telekinetic lances as she is forced back into the building.

Ellen is pleased to note that the security droids once again recognize her as a friendly as she senses Ethel flying about. Ethel's powers are fading as she is getting tired even though she has more fighting on her hands. Unfortunately for the ferret she is so busy figuring out how to escape some details about her surroundings get fuzzy.

Not willing to attack her directly Ellen looks for ways of overwhelming her target indirectly ans thus bypassing the force field that telekinetically protects her. Making rents in various containers Ellen dumps torrents of stored chemicals on the female flying ferret. Most of these just slough off the energy force field onto the floor below which is devoid of traffic for now.

But unbeknownst to both Ellen and Ethel is that in a few of the overhead containers are the product of of the company's forbidden experiments just waiting to be let loose to wreak havoc. Unfortunately for all, Ellen is picking containers completely at random so its only a matter of time till she finds a container with a formless monster than just chemicals. None of the containers are marked save for a bar code that requires special equipment to read.

Ellen does not have such a reader and probably wouldn't use it if she did have one on her as she's just trying to exhaust Ethel to the point she can't keep up her force field. The vixen also tries to get some hits in by jumping at the ferret with blades at the ready. Ethel tries to puncture Ellen with her lances but can't get a lock on her opponent.

Finally Ellen slashes a container holding an ooze creature. It seeps forth from the plastic cell to drop onto Ethel. Eyes and mouths open and close at random in random places as pseudopods form to beat at Ethel through her force field.

It's "body" is made of a kind of greenish black mucous that just keeps accumulating as it engulfs the telekinetic sphere temporarily protecting Ethel. Ethel is shrieking in terror and cursing Ellen who just sits and stares in abject horror. Undulations upon the surface of the thing indicates that whatever it is it's still trying to punch through the defensive bubble to get at its prey.

While some persons might be showing some sort of sympathy for or empathy or at least some shame for inflicting this on another person, Ellen is trying to come up with a plausible explanation for this to her employer when the shock wears off. She looks to see if any cameras are capturing this that she can subtlety alter to shield herself from any accusations of wrong doing. Not that it matters as the same exec that ordered the hit has been watching the proceedings with great interest.

In the shadows of her office the pale skinned beauty that is the vampire lady Lillith Moreau is amused by the actions of the vixen. Vampirism is but one of the "gifts" she has received from her master, the great old one, Cthulhu himself, over the years as she continues to serve him and her own needs as well. Years ago she was a programmer and a nerd into the Goth subculture when she was eventually indoctrinated into a vampire cult of Cthulhu.

With much amusement she remembers those days now, but then darkly smiles at the monitor to watche the creature, one of hundreds of its kind she has created over the years, overcome the ferret's force field as she shrieks again in absolute terror. Lillith closes her eyes in ecstasy as she feeds on the fear. With her concentration shattered Ethel starts to fall while the thing starts to devour her.

She drops into a vat of chemicals and starts to sink to the bottom. Lillith's eyes go wide as by sheer chance she falls into the reanimation fluid under development. The ooze thing gets absorbed, its body fueling the chemical reactions in the serum.

Ethel is presumed drowned even though when they thoroughly dredge the vat later her body fails to turn up. The drain is presumably large enough for Ethel's body to leave the vat so it's ruled an industrial accident. The company even rewards Ellen for her services.

A few nights later the body of a female ferret washes ashore on the surfing beach attached to the Squeaky Tiki. The boys who discover the corpse, sons of a vacationing exec via one of his trophy wives, quickly grabs Fenryx who investigates as part of his agreement with the house to act as a hotel detective as well as security. What he finds is signs that something washed up and crawled away.

He tells the boys something dragged the body somewhere and the he will take care of it. What he is careful not to say is his theory of who it was. But after searching fruitlessly for an hour he decides he may need help tracking her down.

Someon watches him from the shadows with eyes filled with hatred and jealousy. But then sobbing can be heard but not pinpointed. From the reports that later would filter in from all over the compound it was a female voice and Mary says she though it sounded like Ellen...
