The wolf and his dragon.

Coming out of the crowded closet.

This is my first story at all, so it might not be so good... but this is the first part of what could be a series of stories.

CRASH! The small blue wolf scrambled down the hallway, smashing into walls and lamps as he tried to turn corners. For some reason the carpet was slick on his socks this morning, so he had trouble running. As he tried to gather himself and get up, he heard the quick footsteps of the person he was running from. He quickly got up and began running again, only to have his tail grabbed. A bigger wolf held him upside down as he glared at the smaller wolf.

"How many times do we have to tell you to stay out of our room?" The smaller wolf looked at his father in guilt, knowing what he had done was wrong. He whined and squirmed as he was carried through the house he knew oh so well. It was pointless for him to try and get away, as the bigger wolf was much stronger than him. He was held across his father's lap as his pants were pulled to his knees. His eyes filled with tears and he closed his eyes tight in anticipation of the pain that was soon to come.

The wolf jumped and looked around, seeing the sun beam in through the window. He quickly realized it had been a dream, and sat up in his bed. He yawned and looked down to find that familiar bulge under the covers. He softly smacked it and said to himself "I know you liked that..."

He stretched and got out of bed and dressed himself. As he was eating breakfast he couldn't help but think about his friends. He hadn't been out of school for long, and he missed many of them, but only kept in touch with a few. Before he set out to go to town with his friends, he had to check himself over, so he looked in his mirror. All he saw was the same old, same old 5 foot 7 inch, blue furred, and average weight wolf he sees every day in that mirror. He slapped his stomach as he began thinking about a way to lose weight, but soon caught himself getting off task.

"There you are! You know, I've been waiting here for nearly 20 minutes now." The blue wolf smiled at his friend, who continued to roar about how he had been waiting, and how he had been spending that week. Nick (that's the wolf!!!) just thought about how happy he was to see his friend. He was a large, blue dragon. Not a normal dragon, however, because of his blue fur that grew off of his scales. Only a few people knew his actual name, though Nick knew it, he still calls the dragon by the name everyone does.

"Blue! It's so nice to see you! How long has it been now?" The blue wolf laughed to himself as he hugged the blue dragon. They began to walk down the street and talking about shops they had been to. Nick soon got lost in his thoughts of his friend, and did not notice his tail was hitting Blue on the leg.

"Nick what are you doing? You didn't answer my question." The dragon tried to grasp his attention, but he was just simply lost in his thoughts. It took about a minute for him to realize that he had been walking ahead of the dragon, who stopped about 20 steps back.

"Oh wait, I'm sorry, what did you say?" Nick was really embarrassed as he realizes what he had just been thinking about. The blue dragon noticed his friend blushing and the shocked look on his face and thought he had done something wrong. The last thing he wanted was to mess something in his friendship up. Nick knew his thinking had changed, and he began to start thinking differently about his friend, but it wasn't until now that he had to courage to tell him what he was thinking about.

"Blue, there is something I need to tell you," The dragon walked next to him and stared at the wolf, listening closely to what his friend had to say. "I know that we have been friends since we were just kids, and we have always been there when we needed each other. I think that things are changing now, because I've started to think of you in a different way." The blue wolf grew quiet, afraid to continue in fear that he might scare his friend away from him. The blue dragon smiled at the wolf, took him by the shoulder and turned him around before leaning in and whispering "I know, and I have felt the same way for a long time now Nick." The dragon and wolf then locked muzzles in a passionate kiss, with tears in both of their eyes. Their kiss lasted for many minutes before they backed away and held each other in an embrace.

"Let's go Blue. We can go to my house." The blue wolf lead the dragon back to the parking lot, with his tail showing how happy he was by quickly swishing from side to side. The dragons head swam with thoughts of what was to come at his friends house. They used to play games and do homework, but they both knew that's not what was about to happen...

This story IS to be continued, and is just the first part of what I hope is a very long series ïŠ

If you liked it, please let me know! Tell me how you think it could have been better, and tell me what you think, considering it is my first story. Though it isn't yiff, I can't say it will stay that way ;)
