Training Part 1

By Lonewolf

I'm gonna be completely honest. I wrote this story late the other night while I was drunk off my ass. I hope you enjoy!

Turin's red eyes glowed red off into the distance. Naroken, who had been sitting on Turin's shoulder, had long ago fallen asleep as the late hours arrived.Naroken had begged and pleaded for Turin to make camp earlier but the demon wolf refused. Turin grumbled as the wolf talked in his sleep. Turin didn't mind the mumbled words that flowed from his mouth at all because it gave him a little insight into Naroken's head. He sighed and kept moving until he felt something hard on his neck. He groaned disgustedly and flipped Naroken over his shoulder and the wolf landed hard on the ground.

"Ow. What the hell was that for," Naroken said touching his butt softly.

"Keep your hard ons to yourself. i don't want a cock on my neck," Turin said glaring at the wolf.

"Sorry demon. let me get rid of this real quick," Naroken chuckled weakly reaching down and pawed himself off.

Turin rolled his eyes and looked away. He thought for a second then slowly snuck a peek.

"It would go a lot faster if you help me," Naroken said with a huge grin.

"Fuck you," Turin said coldly.

A few minutes later Naroken was sleep soundly over the wolf's shoulder again. Now Turin trudged through the slushy snow humming a tune that he had heard long ago in time. His mind wandered back to the past trying to figure out where he had heard the tune from. He dismissed it as his stomach started to growl. He had seen elk pass by in the night but he really didn't want to stop till he got to the demon clan. He sighed and sat Naroken down next to a tree and went off to find a meal.

His strong sense of smell and hearing identified an animal near by. His eyes went wide as he spied a tall statuesque male buck bending down to take a drink from a small pond. It's Long antlers looked as if they could Peirce flesh but Turin wasn't worried. He crouched down low and was about to pounce when a female doe and two small bucks ambled out. Most wolves would have smiled and walked away leaving the family in peace but Turin wasn't a normal wolf. Turin licked his lips and took off at full speed and rammed into the buck with a heavy shoulder. There was a loud snap as its neck broke against a tree. Turin swiped at the female slitting its throat then turned on the two bucks as they stood there in fright.

"Awww, look at my dessert. Your so cute," Turin said cracking there heads together.

Turin padded back over to the tree where he had laid Naroken and ate away at his meal. This was really the first real meal he had in his life. He was used to getting the small left over scraps that Dalinth would toss him that he binged on his food. He yawned and leaned against the tree beside Naroken and licked his lips. His muzzle was still covered in blood but he was to tired to care.

"What the fuck," Naroken yelped scooting away from the pile of bones, antlers, and left over meat.

Naroken looked at Turin and tripped over his paws at his blood covered muzzle.

"Shut up. I'm trying to sleep," Turin yawned rolling over.

Naroken was a little freaked out but after he was fully awake Turin explained and went to the pond to wash up. He picked up the wolf and a little of the meat from last night and carried on west to find the demon wolves clan.

"Demon, the wolf camp is right between those two really large red wood trees.

"Are you sure," Turin said looking up at the wolf on his shoulders.

"Yep, there should be a lake right over there. That's how I always find it.

"I see the lake. Well, your no longer needed Naroken," Turin said hefting the smaller wolf off of his shoulders.

"W-w-what do you mean Demon," Naroken stuttered.

"Your the only one that knows where the camp is. I can't have you leading the rest of the Leerin clan here," Turin said carrying the wolf over to the lake.

"Demon please. I don't understand," Naroken whimpered while he struggled against the stronger wolf.

"You can think about it for all eternity when you reach paradise," Turin said stopping in front of the lake.

Naroken's eyes went wide and he yelled out as Turin dunked him into the cold lake water. The wolf slashed and kicked trying to break free of the wolf's strong grip. Air bubbles shot to the surface as Naroken howled and splashed under water. The wolf's claws scratched at Turin but he just chuckled. Turin grinned and waved as Naroken started to go still.

"What cha doin," A voice from behind him said softly.

Turin turned around so fast he let loose his grip on Naroken and looked around to where the voice came from. Naroken broke the surface of the lake and coughed hard splattering the ground with water. He climbed out of the lake and and gasped for air. Turin looked over between the trees and a young wolf waved at him. His body was white with red streaks going through his fur and his eyes had the demonistic glow to them.

"Um.. Hi," Turin said waving to the little wolf.

"The seer said you would be here ten minutes ago. Your late. Come on," the little wolf said spitting in the snow.

A burst of fire shot up from where his spit had hit and he grabbed Turin's paw. Turin looked down shocked as the wolf tugged his paw.

"Come on. I'm supposed to bring you home," the little wolf said pulling Turin.

Turin nodded and grabbed Naroken by the tail and pulled him along.

The small wolf pulled Turin into the demon wolf camp where bright lights were flashing and sparks were flying into the air. There were demon wolves all around fighting with there paws glowing brightly. Many young pups sat in the laps of their parents watching "oooing and awwwing".

"What's going on," Turin said leaning down and whispered into his ear.

"There having the monthly power display. There using there elemental powers against each other," the little wolf said as an explosion went off sending such a strong wind it blew Turin and the little wolf off his feet. The both fell on Naroken who yelped out in pain.

Everything stopped all of a sudden and every eye was on them. Turin for the first time in a few days started shaking nervously as pairs of bright red eyes and normal blue ones stared at him. Turin held a paw up and waved grinning nervously until a wolf stepped out of a tent dressed in a beautifully created deer skin cloak and looked around to see why everything stopped.

"Holy shit. and I thought Adrick was huge," Naroken said sitting in the snow staring at the wolf as he approached.

"Hush. The Alpha is coming," the little wolf said spitting at Naroken.

A small burst of fire rose up next to Naroken's foot and he scooted back trembling. Another wolf, female by her size, followed behind the large male. The Alpha stopped when he reached Turin and looked down at him. The Alpha bored into him with such intensity it felt as though his bright red eyes were ransacking his soul trying to find a missing link.

"What is the name you go by now young one," The Alpha said smiling down at Turin.

Turin thought for a second trying to figure out the question. It was such a simple question but the name eluded him. "What the hell is my name" he thought to himself.

"Turin. My name is Turin,"he stammered out.

"What, who named you that dishonorable name," the alpha said growling angrily.

"It was my old master. He is no longer alive though," Turin said scratching the back of his head.

"You will no longer be called that. I will give you an appropriate name that you deserve," the Alpha said turning and consulting with the female wolf.

"What does my name mean. and who is he talking to," Turin said leaning down to the little wolf.

"Your name means death fallen. As in you should have died. And the alpha is talking to the seer. She is his wife," the little wolf said brightly.

"Welcome your brother home. Welcome him back to his birth place. Welcome home Olick," the alpha shouted.

The demon wolves went wild shooting off their elemental powers into the sky. Red fire mingled with water and earth all three were carried away by wind. Light sparkled sending cascades of fire works down upon the families.

The seer stepped forward and looked Turin over. She smelled him sniffing his fur and nodded to the alpha. He grinned and pulled him away leaving over two dozen wolves staring at Naroken.

"Did you bring our offering wolf," a random demon said standing up.

Naroken gulped hard and shook his head from side to side. In Turin's haste to get here he had left it by the tree. The wolf that spoke tut-tutted and smiled.

"Free slave," he shouted causing the clan to go wild pouncing the wolf.

Turin was pulled into the Alpha's tent and made to sit down. The seer stepped in and sat down beside them and kindled a fire. She pulled out a small elk skin sac from her dress pocket and pulled out a pinch of silvery powder.

"What is she doing," Turin said whispering to the alpha.

"Before you came here my wife saw you returning to our clan today. There was a small problem with this vision though. She saw your spirit was covered in dark hate so your elemental power is dark energy. This is very bad Olick because if you were to ever lose your grip on your power you could create a dark hole strong enough to wipe out everything in a 4 miles radius. We can help you keep that under your thumb with intensive training. It will be hard though. Your dark energy has already taken hold of your heart. With training we can control it. She is about to see who your trainer will be," the alpha said putting a paw to his chin.

The seer tossed the powder onto the fire and green smoke flew up. Two green signs floated up from the fire then the two symbols matched into one. The seer nodded wisely and spoke.

"The spirits have chosen Silas and Morgan to be your teachers. Apparently the spirits think it will take more than one person to save your heart. I think It is a wise choice. a little scary but wise," the seer said rubbing her white chin.

"What makes it scary?" Turin said looking into the fire.

"Silas and Morgan our twins with the wind as there elements. Separated they aren't as strong. Together they are deadly. What makes them so scary is the fact that they are your age. Full of pride and stubbornness. Maybe the spirits think you can even them out while they train you," the seer said pouring melted snow on the fire.

The fire sizzled out and the seer stood up, kissed the alpha on the cheek, and left. The Alpha looked at Turin and smiled.

"It's a shame my brother couldn't be here to greet his son. He would have been here but he's leading the army out to fight for the grand lake area," the alpha said leaning over and patting Turin on the head.

"What. What are you talking about. My father is alive?" Turin mumbled standing up.

"Wait a second before you go into that puppish state. Your father hasn't been able to look for you because he's been really busy here. After you three, Your father, you, and your mother, were ambushed by the tiger demons of Clawven he had to be healed. Your mother passed away that night but she had used her element to shoot you away. Your father was unconscious when we found him covered in blood with a thick gash on his chest. Our healer fixed him up and he was okay physically. Mentally he had died for a while refusing food and attention. After he grieved over the loss he re mated about five years later and had a pup," the alpha said watching the facial change of Turin.

"So... when will i get to see him," Turin said looking at the alpha happily.

"He will return a week after you leave for training. Sadly we can't dally with it. You'll see him when you return," the alpha said patting him on the head.

Turin was about to bombard the alpha with questions but the wolf clamped a paw over his muzzle.

"For now why don't you go and visit with your step mother. Oh and I'm sure you would like to play with your little brother. Ekimo," the alpha said leaning out of his tent.

The little wolf that had brought Turin home ran forward and dove into the tent. He looked up at Turin and pounced him.

"Cool. I've always wanted a brother. He's big," Ekimo said poking Turin in the chest.

"Why didn't you tell me you were my little brother," Turin said picking the small wolf up hung him upside down.

"It would have spoiled the surprise. Come on, lets go say hi to mom," Ekimo said dropping down and tugging the wolf's arm.

"You'll leave at Dawn's first light. I will send Silas and Morgan to your tent when it is time. Pay attention to there instructions. They will not go easy on you one bit," the alpha said waving Turin away.

"Hurry up. Mom has been waiting on us," Ekimo said pulling Turin through the tents until he stopped in front of his.

Smoke swirled from the top of his and a nice aroma wavered into Turin's nose. It looked like every other tent except it was a little bigger and had tribal marks painted all over it. He breathed in deep and walked in. A female white and red striped demon wolf sat in front of a large fire roasting a buck. She looked up at Turin then slowly stood to her feet.

"Is this him Ekimo," she whispered looking him over.

"Sure is mom. This is him. This is Turin," Ekimo said sitting down beside the fire.

She walked over and stood in front of Turin looking up at him. She smiled and lifted his paws up and held them in hers. She rubbed them for a second looking into his red eyes wondering what to say.

"You look just like your father. So handsome and strong. If he were here right now he'd be so happy to have you back. I can't say I can replace your mother in any way. But If you want a mother I'll try my best to give you the love and attention son needs. Just wait till your father gets here," she said kissing his paw.

"I'd be honored if you were my mother. I never remember having one. Thank you," Turin said smiling and kissing her paw back.

"I'm sure your wondering what your father is like. I'd love to tell you over dinner," she said sitting down and turning her buck.

Ekimo sat down and rested his head in his mother's lap and Turin sat down beside them. He smiled and inhaled then exhaled. He had went from slave, to slave master, to son in a matter of days. He was so happy that he almost didn't here his mother start.

"Berick is... Berick is the greatest thing in my life. He's sweet and romantic. he looks just like you except bigger and more muscular. he's brave... very brave. Smart and gentle," she started off as Turin leaned his head against his new mother.

Her words were like gentle waves of sound cruising into his ears. Her voice sounded angelic and he was hardly able to keep his eyes open. The warmth of the fire and the whisper of her voice made his eyes droop. He looked over at his little brother Ekimo and noticed he was snoring lightly. He closed his eyes and faded away dreaming of nothing of importance.

Turin slowly came awake from the realm of dreams and looked around. His new mother was sleep with her paws wrapped around Ekimo. She was snoozing quietly with a deer skin blanket covering her and her son. HE sat up and he noticed he too was covered in a deer blanket. He was so used to waking up early to take care of Dalinth he was still used to it.

The tent parted and two wolves walked in. They looked a-like in every way except one was male and was taller. Ekimo sat up as did his mother and whispered good morning tot he pair.

"Good morning Silas. Morgan. Here to take him away already," She said sadly.

"Yes ma'am," Morgan said inspecting Turin.

The male looked Turin over then whispered into his sister's ear. She nodded and he spoke.

"We were given the instructions to train your body and mind. Welcome to our clan Turin. We already packed the supplies we will be needing. We leave now," he said in a deep bass.

Turin nodded and stood to his feet and his mother walked over and hugged him tight.

"Be safe Turin. I can't wait till you get back so i can spend more time with you.

With that she kissed him on the cheek and let him go.

"Good bye for now mom. see you when I get back," Turin said waving to her then to Ekimo.

They left the tent and Silas picked up to large sacs and hefted them over his shoulder. He looked back at Turin again and whispered into Morgan's ear. She stopped and put her paws on her hips and glared at him.

"Bull shit. I've been looking for a mate for a long time. I think he's hot too but he's mine," she said punching him in the arm.

"I bet you ten elk he's mine by the time we get back," Silas said pushing her as they walked along the path out of the forest to the training area.

"I bet you twenty elk he will be my mate by the time we get back," she said looking back at Turin and holding out her paw.

Silas shook her paw and winked at Turin who tilted his head a little confused.

They approached a large field and Silas pointed to a large cabin and tossed Turin the sacs. Turin held his paws up and git bowled over by the sacs.

"Woah," Turin yelled falling over.

"Take those to the cabin. I'll be your teacher at night. And Morgan will be your teacher in the morning," he said helping Turin up.

Turin nodded and dragged the sacs away to the cabin. Silas grinned and leaned over watching Turin's butt get further away.

"See that sis. All mine. I can't wait to get in that," he said rubbing his paws together.

"Don't worry. I'll let you have your dreams," she said watching him go in the cabin.

Silas shook his head and laughed and Morgan punched him in the arm. Silas looked down at her and pushed her with his elemental power of wind. She shot off and Silas laughed walking over to the cabin.
