I miss the days when people who needed attention gave a kind mention
No one complained like a child demanding such a show
Frustration shared among those who dared to deny the other, both claiming for the better, to know
People tried instead of yelling they were denied
Cowardly to keep talking with patience, quick to accuse others of victimizing their being
Only sad days, with those lost in their ways, for the future so fickle that I hope no one will soon be seeing
Humanity lost the will to shut those up who asked for the world with nothing in return
Demanding a match to match, extremes only showing the world beginning to burn
It's not enough to live while we run short on water, food, & kind words to share
Many of the I'll-minded have since simply forgotten how to care...
I'm done with rallies of any kind
Somewhere along the way, for each hair split, the meaning seems to have lost its mind
I'm old fashion, in many a way I feel others should realize time never matters when one takes another breath
Life shouldn't be at stake for people to feel payment in the end is acceptable in death
"Idiots"... that's the best word I can say to those who look the other way
To a coin, it doesn't matter which sides chosen, one isn't worth more
The piece is just another part of change, why make it strange if it's only your two cents
I hold in hand no personal demand, only sight for those claiming to see
Eyes closed, they walk, self-assured, whatever happens to them, they'll just demand to be free...
Ignorance is universal, no sides, no mention of right or wrong
People made privilege a price for wanting instead of needing what we had all along
....the world is mad......with no "reasons" beyond tomorrow...its just sad...
