A New Beginning(Chapter 3)
I fell asleep in Gray's arms again after telling him about Spike. When I woke up, he wasn't in bed. I decided to see if he just went to the living room to watch TV. I found him in the kitchen making bacon, eggs and toast. He put his shirt back on before he had come down but I just had a pair of black saxx briefs on. I walked up behind him, making sure he knew I was there first to avoid scaring him, and ran my paws up his shirt and hugged him from behind.
"Morning puppy, did you sleep okay?" He asked while still focused on cooking.
"Puppy?" I couldn't help but chuckle at his cute nickname he gave me.
"You like it? I can stop calling you that if you want."
"I think its cute, now I just need to find one for you." He laughed at that
"How do you like your eggs?"
"Scrambled please."
"Alright it will be ready soon go sit for now okay."
"K," I give him one last hug and then head for the couch.
About ten minutes later he brought me back a plate. It all looked so good.
"Thanks babe." I smile at him and start to eat.
"No problem puppy. Now I was thinking after this we relax for awhile, then later on I take you out for dinner and finally, we end the night with a movie at home. What do you say?" he asks with a smile.
"I say that sounds like a great idea." I smile back "But um...Can I ask you something?"
"Always, whats up?"
"Can I... move in with you?" He looks at me with the biggest smile on his face.
"You wanna move in with me?."
"If that's okay with you?" I ask now a little nervous.
"It will be a bit of a longer walk to work for you from where I live."
"I got my drivers licence and my trucks just parked outside."
"Well then I would love it if you moved in with me" He smiles as I get up and hug him.
We spent most of the afternoon packing things I wanted to take with me to his his house. At around two, we had finished getting just about everything and started moving it all into my truck. I had a black Ram I had gotten almost three years ago. I let Gray drive since he knew the city better and he knew the quickest ways to his house.
When we got to Gray`s, we just put everything in one of the corners of his house as it was almost four and we still wanted to go out for dinner.
"Alright, back in the truck puppy." Gray called out to me.
"Coming!" I called back we got back into the truck and went on our way to... "Hey babe, where are we going exactly?"
"Oh don't worry. I'm taking you to one of the best restaurants in all of Pasadena." Gray smiled
"Rea-"
"McDonald's." My jaw dropped
"WHAT THE FU-."
"I'm kidding puppy." He started to laugh and then pet me on the head. "We're going to a restaurant called State and Main. Its really nice trust me." I wanted to punch him in the gut but instead, I laughed along and put my head on his shoulder.
We got to the restaurant and were quickly seated in a booth. We had ordered some drinks and then our food about 15 minutes later. We sat quiet for about 5 minutes, but then I broke the silence after Gray had just been staring at me without looking away.
"A-Are you okay?" I ask turning a little red.
"Sorry puppy, just noticing how cute you look tonight."
"Babe!" I turn bright red now from blushing.
"Your not mad are you?" Gray asks now lowering his ears.
"Of course not, you know how much I love it when you say things like that." I kiss him. That made him happy. About 2 minutes later we get our food and begin to eat talking about things like funny stories from the past and things we like. At around six thirty, we paid the bill, headed out to the truck and got home at around seven.
When we got home, we decided to watch Insidious. Gray took off my shirt and then moved down to my jeans. I nodded to him and he removed them easily. I took his shirt off then went down to his jeans. Gray pulled out a blanket and we both got under it on the couch. About half way through the movie, there was a jump scare that made me jump and yelp. I started to shake a little bit when I felt Gray starting to rub my torso.
"Shh, you okay?" Gray tried to calm me down.
"Yeah, thanks babe." I smiled at Gray and he smiled back.

There was about 15 minutes left of Insidious and Shane had fallen asleep in my arms. When the movie ended, I shut everything off, picked up Shane and walked up to my bedroom. Once he was safe and sound under the covers, I got into bed wrapped my arms around him and went to sleep with my last words of the night to him being, "Sweet dreams puppy."
