"You fucking faggot!! Get you ass back over here!!" Fabel's father screamed as he chased Fabel down the hallway. Fabel quickly ducked into his room and slammed the door as fast as he could, trying to escape his father. As his father started slamming his fist on Fabel's door, Fabel's mother got home from work. Luckily for Fabel his mother always stuck up for him when his father would try to hurt him. About two years ago Fabel told his parents he was gay. His mother was very accepting of his homosexuality, but his father happened to be one of the biggest homophobes you'd ever meet. After his father calmed down Fabel snuck out through his bedroom window to get out of the house and to go to his best friend, Zakk's house.
As he walked down the street Fabel thought to himself "Why did I ever have to tell them I was gay. I knew mom wouldn't care that much and I didn't think dad would beat me weekly for it." He got to Zakk's house and rang the doorbell. A tall black wolf dressed in baggy black pants with chains all over them and no shirt answered the door. "Hey Fabel what's up. Wait don't tell your dad again?" Fabel looked up at the beautiful wolf and said "You know me to well Zakk, you really do, and what the hell happened to your headfur, it's blue?"
"Oh yeah I dyed it do you like it? Don't just stand there come in."
" Yeah I like it makes you look even more sexy..." Fabel said half jokingly. Fabel has had a crush on Zakk for sometime now but is not sure if Zakk is gay or not. "Haha enough with that now tell me what happened between you and your father."
"Just the usual. I got home from school and there he was sitting in his chair. Mom wasn't home so he knew he had the chance to scream and hit me all he wanted. Luckily mom got home early and I was able to get to my room before dad started to get too serious..." Fabel said with a deep sigh. "You should really tell someone about your father, Fabel. One of these days he's going to seriously hurt you."
"I know, I know I should but I still love him. I can't put him in jail, I just can't. I wish I had a brother that would stick up for me like your brother sticks up for you."
"Yeah but he can't stick up for me now. Last time he did he put the poor kid in the hospital. He got arrested for it, remember?"
"Yeah I remember it's just he DID stick up for you when he could I don't have anyone like that."
"You got me..."
"That's true but you're not there all the time, you know?"
"Yeah I really wish I could be there though."
"Thanks man, I really mean it." Fabel said while hugging his best friend. "Hey do you think your mom will mind if I stay the night here, I really don't want to go home right now."
"I'm pretty sure she won't care here ill ask." Zakk says as he gets up to go ask his mom if Fabel could stay over.
"Man that little fox is so sexy" Zakk thought as he walked down the hall into the kitchen where his mom was. "Wait, what did I just think? I've never thought that way about him before."
"Hey mom, do you think Fabel could stay the night tonight?"
"Sure, hun you know he's always welcome here."
"Yeah I know I just wanted to make sure."
Fabel waited patiently in Zakk's room. Looking around he noticed a picture of him and Zakk After one of Zakk's big baseball games. Both him and Zakk have huge smiles on their muzzles and Fabel's tail is a blur of grey in the background, he was wagging it so fast. That was before Fabel had told his parents of his sexuality, everything was normal he wasn't getting beat by his father or ignored in school. At that time he knew he was gay and had already told Zakk. Zakk's reaction to it was a very calm "Good for you!" in a non-sarcastic way. Fabel sighs and put the picture down just as Zakk walked in. "You can stay over, Fabel. I figured you would be but I just wanted to make sure."
"Okay cool... Hey you remember this day." Fabel says as he gestures to the picture he was just looking at. "Of course I do. That was the day my team won the little league championship. Man those were the times."
"Yeah it was also the day I told you I was... well... gay."
"Oh yeah that too. So what do you want to do?"
"Why do you always change the subject when I talk about my sexuality, if you don't mind me asking?"
"I don't know, I really don't, I just don't like talking about it..."
"Zakk, is there something you want to tell me?" Fabel asked. "Please say yes, please say yes." Fabel thought to himself while waiting for Zakk's answer.
"No!" Zakk said sharply. "What is this feeling? Why am I questioning myself? I've never felt like toward Fabel before."
"Oh ok" Fabel said putting his head down.
"Hey its getting late we should go to bed we got school tomorrow." Zakk said to Fabel after he came back from taking a shower. "Eh I don't want to go to school tomorrow can we skip?"
"Fabel! We've already skipped 10 days this year what's going on?"
"I don't know its just... the kids are getting worse and worse."
"You don't gotta tell me that twice I get it worse than you."
"Yeah you'd think I'd get it worse being gay and all" Fabel chuckled.
"Hey you laughed! That's the first time I heard you laugh all night."
"Yeah, I guess but, I'm not going to school tomorrow. If you want I'll go to bed with you but I'm still not going."
"Fine. I'll skip tomorrow too but we're still going to bed now." The black wolf said as he flicked Fabel on his white tipped ear. "Ow! That hurt. I hate it when you do that."
"I know that's why I do it." Zakk said sticking his tongue out. "Yeah whatever." Fabel said looking away from his friend. "What's wrong, Fabel?" Zakk asked turning the gray foxes face back toward his own. "N...nothing, why?" Fabel said shocked that his best friend had just turned his face and moved in closer to his muzzle. "No reason." Zakk replied as he brought his muzzle closer and closer to Fabel's. "What the hell.... What is he doing" Fabel thought as he watched Zakk's muzzle get closer to his own. "Please don't move away Fabel, please don't" Zakk thought while placing his lips on Fabel's. It was a long passionate kiss that the two friends enjoyed. Fabel was the first to open his muzzle and ask for permission to enter the others mouth. Their tongues danced a passionate dance as they enjoyed the first kiss of many.
"What the hell?" was the first thing Fabel said after they broke the kiss. "You didn't like it?" Zakk said putting his ears flat against his head. "No, I liked it, it was just random, it caught me off guard."
"Oh, okay. I'm glad you liked it and I'm glad I did it now." Zakk said tackling Fabel onto the bed. "Hey get off you're crushing me!" Fabel said struggling under the weight of his friend. "Awww but you're so comfy." Zakk said putting his best puppy face on. "I know I am but you're heavy and you're crushing me."
"Fine." Zakk said getting off his friend and pouting. "Oh stop that you big baby. Let's get some sleep I'm tired that kiss wore me out." Fabel said getting under the covers. "Ok" Zakk responded as he lied down behind Fabel putting his arm around him and nibbling gently on his ear. Fabel gasped as he felt Zakk nibble on his ear. "Hey what're doing?"
"Oh, sorry I'll stop." Zakk said turning over so his arm could no longer be around Fabel's body. "You didn't have to take your arm off of me. I liked that it... It made me feel safe..." Fabel said in a low tone. Zakk turned back over and placed his arm around Fabel once again.
They awoke the next morning in the same position they fell asleep in, with Zakk's arm wrapped around Fabel.
