#1 of The life of Rean

A short story about Rean, finding his place in the pack, even if he didn't want it at first.

The woods were light with the sun overhead, though many parts of it were cloaked in shadows. The leaves barely rustled as the smallest of breezes attempted to stir them. Rean, a light coated wolf, was following his pack through the dense brush, looking for something to hunt. The pack leader, Lorren, seemed like he couldn't even read a game trail though. He had the pack following trails that looked as if they hadn't been used in months, and they were all getting hungry from it.

They weren't starving, though it always seemed to take longer than it should to find a good meal. Rean had been thinking of leaving the pack because of it, but he knew that on his own he would be as good as dead. Though he felt like he was now, following old game trails with a rumbling stomach. His paws crunched over sticks, not even bothering to try and cover the sounds of his movements. He was sure that they wouldn't find anything on this trail, just like every other time, and then one of the other pack members would suggest another trail, and then they would eat.

If Rean was the pack leader things would be different, they wouldn't be hungry so often for one, and he would be able to have Rhal, the only female in the pack. There had been many times that he had been ashamed to show himself because of his member hanging from his sheath, and he knew he wasn't the only one. They needed more females in the pack, and the only one that seemed to disagree besides Rhal was Lorren, who could mate with Rhal whenever he wanted. Rean had never even mated before, but he still constantly felt the urges to find somewhere to bury his bone.

He had to catch himself, not wanting his thoughts to start drifting into that area. He looked around, hoping to find some sign of an animal, so that he could at least sate one of his hungers. Movement caught his eye, making him look up, and he quickly ducked down. He had seen a dragon flying overhead, and didn't want to be seen. He thought himself stupid for doing it, as the chances of being seen this deep in the woods were slim, and tried to ignore the looks of some of the other pack mates.

His paw crunched down on another stick, and this time he heard a growl come from in front of him. The two wolves that were walking in front of him stopped, and so did he, waiting to see what the commotion was. It turns out that he was the commotion though, as Lorren forced his way between the two wolves in front of him. Rean lowered his head at the sight of the pack leader, trying to appear humble. Lorren stepped right up to him, Rean seeing his paws right in front of him, before hearing Lorren.

"We will never eat if you continue to be so loud" Lorren growled at him, Rean keeping his eyes on the ground.

He knew that to reply would just anger Lorren, and didn't want to get into a fight with him. There was a reason that Lorren was pack leader, and that was because he was stronger, and faster than everyone else in the pack, even if he lacked the brains.

Lorren looked down at Rean, his breath ruffling the fur on top of his head.

"Did you hear me?" Lorren asked in a growl. Rean nodded his head, his eyes returning to the ground afterwards. "Then keep quiet and we can all eat soon"

Rean watched Lorren's paws turn, then walk out of his vision, before muttering a reply under his breath, "none of us will eat on this trail".

He felt his heart jump to his throat as he heard Lorren's footsteps stop. Had he heard him? Rean hoped not, he really wished that he had kept quiet. He was relieved to hear Lorren start moving again; letting out the small breath he had been holding. He always said stuff he knew he shouldn't, but he couldn't help it. He looked up once he was sure that Lorren was gone, following as the pack started moving again.

Rean made sure to watch his steps after that, making sure that he didn't make any noise. Not because he would scare away any game, there was none of that around here, but so that Lorren didn't come back to him again. He didn't know why, but he was sure that Lorren disliked him. They walked for a few more minutes before stopping, Kaen suggesting a new trail this time. Lorren nodded, and then announced that they would be trying a different trail, as if it was his idea all along.

Rean held his tongue this time, not speaking out about how they shouldn't have been on this one in the first place, and followed as Kaen led the way at Lorren's side, leading towards a better game trail. Kaen's wits were fine, and his tracking was well respected in the pack. Rean was glad that it was him that was leading them, and knew that before long he would be eating. The trail was a fair bit away, and Rean was surprised that Kaen could remember where it was so easily. He knew for a fact that Lorren could not remember anything long unless he was constantly reminded.

They were soon walking along a much fresher trail, and Rean was pleased to smell deer in the air. If they could manage to take it down they would eat well. He hated to admit it to himself, but he knew that Lorren was the best chance they had at catching the deer. The pack started to slow, fanning out slowly. Rean stayed where he was, his position meant to stop anything that tried to run back. His position in the pack shamed him, as the only wolf that didn't get to actually hunt besides him was Rhal, who sat back behind Rean.

Rhal didn't seem to like Rean either, which made him feel even worse at not being allowed to hunt with the others. He would have no one to talk to while the others got to chase down the deer, and he would have none of the glory of the hunt to share. He wasn't unable to hunt, in fact he knew that some of the wolves in the pack were slower than he was, but still he was left behind. Several of his friends had told him that he was left at the back because it was most important, because if anything tried to escape only he could stop it. But he knew that they lied to him.

Rean knew that the real reason he was left behind was because Lorren disliked him. He sighed as he lay down, crossing his paws in front of himself and resting his head on them. He listened as the pack began their hunt; their howls sounding in the near distance, making him imagine himself there with them, hunting, how a wolf should. His ears twitched, picking up the howling as his pack mates attempted to wear the deer down, he was surprised, though, to hear the howls sounding closer to him.

He slowly stood up, scanning the woods ahead of him, his ears held high for any noise he could pick up. And then he heard it, the heavy thumping of footprints, not the soft ones that wolves made, but something heavier. His muscles tensed under him, prepared to dart in any direction that he saw something. And he did. He launched himself to his left as the deer burst through some bushes, slamming his body into its side. The deer stumbled a few steps, kicking out, before righting itself and continuing to run.

Rean had taken one of those kicks directly to the head though, and lay on the ground, his head already aching. He raised one paw to rub at the sore spot on his head, relieved when it came away unbloodied. Then he saw the rest of the pack burst through the bushes, Lorren running at the front. He was a sight to see, his powerful muscles tensing beneath his dark fur, launching him further than the wolves behind him could manage. Rean wondered if Lorren slowed himself so that the others could keep up.

At this moment, Lorren really did slow himself though, to a complete halt. The rest of the pack stopped behind him, and Rean's ears fell flat against his head as Lorren turned his gaze down on him. A low growl was coming from his throat as he looked at Rean.

"I send the deer towards you as a gift" Lorren said, baring his fangs, "because I know you wish to hunt with us, but you let it escape!" he finished with a snarl.

"I... I nearly had it" Rean protested, rising to his feet.

"You lie" Lorren proclaimed, anger clearly written on his features. "You could not have caught the deer, you cannot even catch a mouse!"

Rean felt angered from the insult. He had tried his hardest, and had been injured, hunting for the pack. And Lorren had thrown it all back at him, as if he was worthless.

"We will all go hungry because of you Rean" Lorren said, turning around to tell the others how Rean had let the deer escape.

Rean's blood was boiling with anger at this point, how dare Lorren look down on him! Lorren was by far the stupidest wolf he had ever known, and here he was, insulting Rean for not being able to do something he himself had failed!

"We all go hungry because of you!" Rean snapped back, a deep growl laced in his words, "We hunt with empty stomachs because you are too stupid to know what a fresh trail looks like! Every day we hunt for hours, and come up empty because you cannot track any better than a cub!"

There was silence then, and Rean's ears lowered as he realised what he had said. He knew that there was no way to take back what he had said, he knew that he would regret it. Yet there was nothing he could do.

"I... I'm sorry" Rean said, lowering his head.

While Rean's head was lowered, he didn't notice Lorren turn around, that is, until they slammed their weight in him, pushing him to the ground.

"You think me stupid?" Lorren asked, his face close to Rean's as he pinned him under his muscular weight. "I hunt those trails to teach you Rean, because you are a runt!" he snarled, his head pushing Rean's back against the ground as he leaned in closer.

Rean knew that Lorren lied, but he didn't dare open his mouth, he held it clamped shut as tight as he could.

"You are the most worthless member of the pack Rean, you have never contributed to the pack" Lorren said, his voice lowering. "And I think it time you contribute"

Rean didn't understand what Lorren meant, but he knew whatever it was, it wouldn't be good.

"Get up" Lorren demanded, stepping off of Rean.

Rean stayed on the ground, his paws held up in front of him, his ears laid back against his head.

"I'm sorry" Rean said, his voice shaky with emotion.

"I said get up!" Lorren shouted, growling heavily at the end.

Rean shakily got to his feet, fear running through his mind and body alike. Was Lorren going to kill him? Would any of his pack mates help him? He doubted it, they knew that they could not fight Lorren.

"Look at me" Lorren demanded, lifting Rean's head with his paw. "You will be given a new place in the pack" he continued, anger still heavy in his voice, "And it will be beneath all of us"

"I cannot fall any further in the pack" Rean said, his mouth working without his brain again.

"You misunderstand" Lorren said, confusion crossing Rean's face. "It is beneath each and every wolf that wants you"

Rean's fear addled mind had trouble understanding what Lorren said, but his next words made it all snap into place.

"Turn around, and prepare to serve the pack" Lorren commanded.

Rean took a step back, shock running through him. Surely Lorren couldn't be serious. He was a male!

"Please!" Lorren begged, "I'm sorry!"

"Turn around" Lorren repeated, his voice low.

"No" Rean said, moisture building in his eyes.

Lorren stepped towards him.

"Please, no" Rean begged again, taking another step back.

Lorren just growled in reply, lowering his body to the ground as he stalked towards Rean.

"Please, I'm a male" Rean said, trying to make Lorren see sense.

"Not anymore" Lorren replied.

"Fael, Kaen, you are my friends help me please, I beg you" Rean tried asking his friends for help, but they remained quiet.

"Please!" he shouted, his tail tucked between his legs, his ears as flat as they could go. "Together we can take him down, we can be rid of him" Rean tried, his voice sobbing as Lorren closed in on him.

"They will not listen to you" Lorren said, forcing Rean back against a tree, "I am the pack leader, and you are just Rean"

Rean whimpered, his whole body shaking as Lorren grabbed hold of his neck in his jaws. Lorren shoved him to the ground, rubbing his light fur into the dirt, holding him down as he tried to scramble away.

"I think" Lorren started, whispering in Rean's ear "that this is all you have ever meant to be"

Rean whimpered again, his muscles tensing as Lorren licked along his neck.

"Now roll over and do what you are meant for" Lorren said, "and get used to it, because this is all you will ever be now, a tool to relieve the pack"

Rean tried to resist, but with Lorren's teeth pressing against his neck, he couldn't will his muscles to move, his body easily being flipped by Lorren's paws. Rean's head was shoved into the ground, one eye being forced closed, the other closing willingly.

"Please" Rean begged one last time.

"Good" Lorren said, "Learn to beg for it"

Rean whimpered as he felt Lorren's hardness poking around his legs. He tried to keep his body pressed to the ground, but Lorren forced his rear end up, his paws wrapped around Rean's waist. Rean whimpered as he felt Lorren's tip press against his tail hole, but instead of pushing in it just sat there, leaking pre against him.

Letting go of his head Lorren moved his mouth to just beside Rean's ear. "You will learn to love this" was all he said before thrusting forwards, his pre the only thing making it possible for him to slide in.

Rean howled in pain, feeling himself stretched around Lorren's member. He had never seen it before, but it felt massive inside him. Lorren's jaws clamped back around Rean's neck, cutting off his howl as he started thrusting. Rean felt as if he was going to be split in half, and was extremely glad for the pre that Lorren's member was continuously leaking, making each thrust a little more bearable. Lorren wasn't by any means gentle, thrusting hard and deep with every thrust, not bothering to show Rean any mercy.

Rean was in complete pain for nearly a minute, until Lorren's member slapped wetly in and out of his abused tail hole, excess pre dripping from him with every thrust. At this point, to Rean's surprise, the pain had actually started to fade, and in its place was actually pleasure. He didn't know how it was possible, and he didn't want to think about it, but he felt pleasure more and more, and pain less and less, until the pain was almost gone completely.

He thought back at what Lorren had said, was this what he was meant to be? Was this why he was feeling pleasure, when it should only be pain? He tried to think of an excuse, but couldn't find one. Maybe he was meant to be beneath another wolf. At that thought, his mind seemed to tick over. His place was beneath another wolf. He could tell from the pleasure he was feeling now. Surely if this wasn't meant to be he wouldn't be feeling this.

He gave in to himself, letting out a low groan, arching his back and pressing back against Lorren. Lorren finally let go of Rean's neck, keeping his head low. "Good" Lorren said, "Embrace this Rean, this is what you are now, and whenever a wolf comes sniffing, you will raise your tail for them.

Rean didn't reply, instead just pushing himself back into Lorren. He should raise his tail for other wolves; he should help the pack however he can. He didn't know why he hadn't thought of it before. He started panting now, pleasure making his own member hard beneath him, his muscles squeezing around Lorren's member. He could feel the knot at the base of Lorren's thick member, and knew that it wouldn't be long before he would be tied to him.

It felt amazing, to be pounded into the ground by the pack leader, and he howled his pleasure, looking over to see the surprised looks of his friends. He panted as he looked at them, and saw their members half hard beneath them. He would be glad to help them next, glad to finally be able to help the pack. He grunted as he felt Lorren's knot pushing at his tail hole, now too big to enter, that is, it should have been. But Lorren's determined thrusts started pushing harder and harder, until it popped inside.

Rean nearly passed out as he felt Lorren's knot pop into him, the sheer size of it beyond belief, and he could feel it getting bigger still. His tongue flopped out of his mouth, his panting coming faster as he felt Lorren's quick thrusts inside him, the knot tugging against him every time Lorren pulled back. His own member released then, all over himself, and Lorren laughed as he noticed. He wasn't laughing for long though, as Rean's muscles contracted around his member, squeezing it as hard as Rean's body could manage.

Lorren was sent over the edge, biting down on the scruff of Rean's neck, making him whimper as he pushed his member as deep as it could go, feeling his balls pull up against his body. Rean felt the heat spurt into his body, filling him up from the extremely pleasurable member lodged inside him. He wiggled his hips a little, tugging at the knot that was trapped inside him, groaning at the feeling. Lorren finished quickly, having been able to mate Rhal whenever he wanted he didn't have much seed to spill.

Rean would have collapsed on the ground if it weren't for the large wolf cock lodged in his rear, keeping him off the ground. He gave a whimper when he felt Lorren tugging backwards, trying to pull his cock out. Rean didn't think they would be able to, and he thought he would have to deal with their tugging for quite a while. He was wrong though. Lorren placed his forepaws on Rean's back, then pushed down on him as hard as he could, and tugged back. Rean let out a pained yelp as he felt the knot pull out of him, stars dancing in front of his eyes.

When his vision finally returned Lorren was standing in front of him, looking down at him with a grin on his muzzle. "You will be a great addition to the pack now Rean" Lorren said, and Rean felt himself fill with pride at that. He was finally useful to the pack! "Now, you will make sure every wolf that wants to gets to feel the inside of your tail hole" Lorren said, a commanding tone in his voice.

Rean just nodded dumbly, finally lowering his hips to the ground. "You'll need to lift your legs again Rean" Lorren said, pointing behind him with his muzzle, "You wouldn't want to disappoint your friends would you?"

Rean looked over his shoulder, and saw Kaen standing behind him, his dark red member easily visible under him. Rean did as he was told, lifting his hips, sighing as he felt Kaen's member easily slide into his used tail hole. He felt complete now, like he had finally reached some hidden goal, and let out a pleasurable groan as he felt Kaen start to pound into him.
