I Do Me
#4 of Poetry and poems
Some introspection on my writing
"What are you doing?"Writing one may say;
I have said,
(though that's the most simplified shorthand)
In actuality there's so much
happening behind my scene
that you'd never be able to see
I do not merely write
I create, through feels
Intense thought transcribes
into emotion that shoots
from the cognition, through
the cerebellum, down the
vertebrae straight into
the cardial capacity within.
Each throb rings flavors
that draw movements through
these mortal limbs,
driving pencil to paper
and forcing words to
flow that are hidden
deep down within
that need to be heard
What am I doing?
I'm doing me
