Hey I feel like this is going so fast I don't know why. Anyway I wish more people would comment. I see there are more people faving then commenting and for that matter viewing, but that's different. As always enjoy.

I look at the door as it's kicked open. "Oh my god it's Eric...Eric Vien...my brother."

Eric points the weapon at me, but when he realizes who I am he slowly lowers his weapon letting the anger in his face slow fade with it. "What the fuck is going on? Why are you here? And who...errr what are they?. I was told I might see some weird creatures, but this is ridiculous" there's a long pause then "so the government wants me to kill my brother."

So many questions are running through my mind. "So you're a fucking assassin, that's why you couldn't tell why our parents died. It was because of you wasn't it? You caused it didn't you?"

Eric lowers his eyes and meekly says "yeah...yeah it was, that's why I covered everything up and left the way I did. I didn't want any terrorists to find and kill you."

Tears threaten to burst from my face. "You fucking bastard, get the hell out of here...NOW."

"A clean up team is on its way here now, if you want to live, you have to come with me, just leave them here and let's get out of this mess, I'll make sure none of this falls back to you."

I stare at him coldly "after what I just found out about you today...no, I would rather die with them, at least they stuck by me after they fucked up my life."

Tairin walks over and stands next to me. "You act as though we can't understand you." He shacks his head "look even if he wanted to leave us he can't."

Eric looks at the werewolf shocked. "Wh...what do you mean he can't leave."

I kick Tairin in the leg just as he's gonna say it.

Tairin growls at me then looks back at Eric. "Even though he still won't accept it. I am his mate and in time he will accept me as his."

Eric raises his gun and points it right at Tairin and as he is gonna shot I step in the way. "You're gonna have to take me out if you want him dead.

Eric has a mixture of confusion and shock written all over his face. "What...what your gay and your into bestiality?"

I narrow my eyes at him "No I'm not gay and no I'm not into bestiality, I don't like him that way alright, but what's shooting him gonna do, I mean the guys they killed back at the forest had poison dart guns, so I don't think a Desert Eagle is gonna do much."

Eric looks at Tairin for answers "can your kind's skin protect itself against bullets?"

Tairin squints his eyes disturbed that Eric would ask such a thing "why...so you can go back to your superiors and tell them what bullets they need to kill us" Tairin pushes Adrian out of the way and walks closer to Eric which now has his gun raised and pointed right at Tairins chest, but when Adrian tries to protest Tairin digs his claws into Adrian's shoulder to tell him just how serious he is. "Let me tell you something...even if you get the right bullets it won't matter, my kind have prepared themselves and are ready to tell...no show your people enough is enough."

Everything seems to stop after those words slip from Tairins lips. I think to myself ‘WHAT...what's his people going to do if we make our move...er attack.'

Eric's mouth drops "wh...what do you mean enough?"

Tairin narrows his eyes again *chuckles* "your kind seem so eager to find out, why don't you just launch your attack now and find out, or now that you know that we will do something...maybe you're not so eager anymore." He shacks his head "your kind rule the world the way your children play with toys." There was a long pause then Tairin speaks again "I once talked to a human that was so fascinated by our people that he lived among us and acted like he was one of us, he eventually gained our trust and I eventually asked him how he did it, how did he find us. And do you know what he said...he said "you don't find the werewolf the werewolf finds you" I knew he was right, but it amazed me that a human was smart enough to acknowledge that fact and that he would throw his life away to be with us, what did we do to deserve that."

Eric lowers his weapon and puts it back and looks determined "all of you...come with me, were getting out of here before the government gets here, this isn't right and I will do everything in my power to stop them."

Everyone nods and the dogmen change into wolves and all 6 of us walk out of the room and make for the exit. We all walk out of the hotel without the manager knowing and walk over to a new Cadillac CTS. My mouth drops as he unlocks the car doors and the lights flash. "W...what the fuck is this, since when did you get a CTS...and it's new too."

*Chuckles* "I get a new car every year, it's one of the many luxuries you get when you do what I do. The government pays for it and everything, just so they can put there shit like tracking and stuff like that in it."

I nod and look at Eric "now what?"

Eric holds out his hand and gestures me to do the same. I do and he drops his car keys in my hand. I blink a few times then look back up to him trying to figure out why he would do this.

Just as I am about to say something he shushes me with his finger. He walks over to the car, opens the driver's side door, pulls a lever on near the flour and the hood pops open, he walks over and opens the hood, reaches in, fidgets with something under the hood then pulls a black box out from under the hood. He comes over to me and just as I'm about to say something he shushes me with his finger again and smiles at me "I will take care of everything, now get out of here."

Tairin nudges me with his nose. I look down at him and nod. I look back at Eric "the auto repair shop has my car. Could you go pick it up for me tomorrow by noon? You will only owe them the standard price if they don't get it done by noon.

Eric looks at me with concern "What happened to mom and dad's car?"

I look down at the pavement "I...I was followed...and I had to get rid of them and in the process of that I damaged the car."

Eric looks at my with sympathy and puts his arm on my shoulder "It's okay...I'll take care of the car" Eric's tone turns from sympathetic to dark "and after that there's someone I have to take care of."

My eyes amplify in size after hearing this "Wha..."

Eric shushes me with his finger again and points to the car "get in and drive...drive till you can't drive no more, but whatever you do don't look back do you hear me?"

I nod and get into the car along with the others. I start the car and put it into reverse and back up then stop and put it in drive and start driving away; just before I get out of the parking lot I take one last look in the rear view mirror and see him smiling at me. ‘What have I done, I wish none of this was happening.' Tairin stairs at me intently "I thought you wanted that cell phone to call your parents."

The question doesn't even faze me "I lied" I look at him with a look that told him I was on the brink of an emotional meltdown "now shut the fuck up and let me drive."

Tairin respected my request by nodding and looking out the side window.

We drive for what seems like days, but is only mere hours. I'm on the interstate and am looking over the interior of the car when I notice something. It looks like the sync feature that ford has, but how the fuck would GM get their hands on this. I press the media button and it takes me to all the songs on here. "Wow."

Tairin looks at me feeling left out "what?"

I have a similarly confused face "this car has sync, but that feature is only on fords."

Tairin raises his brow "your point?"

I look at him then back at the road "Ford has a patent on sync, so no other car company can use it."

He cocks his head "again your point?"

*Frustrated sigh* "this is a Cadillac CTS which is owned by GM and it's impossible to put this on this car...wait I bet the government did this for him, you know pull a few strings, anyway we can listen to music."

He looks at me oddly "not to loud."

I make the pouty face "but it doesn't sound good if it's not loud."

Tairin looks at me seriously "don't start with the sarcastic bullshit, the answers no." Then he looks back out the window.

I get a little brave "What if I do?"

Tairin slowly turns his head toward me and shows me his fangs "then I'll break it."

‘Never mind' "okay." I go to artists and look for Kevin Rudolf, when I find him I look for all the songs under him, only 2 ‘Let It Rock' and ‘Let It Rock (Cahill Remix)'. ‘The remix is totally better than the original' "ready to hear a kick ass song." I press that song and it starts to play.

After the song is over Tairin looks at me and says "that wasn't that bad, in fact I liked it. What else you got?"

I smile "let me see here." ‘hmm...he's got just about everything I like. Oh he's got ‘Re-education' by Rise Against their good to, let's try that.' I press the button for that song and it plays.

After that song is over Tairin looks at me with a smile "I like your music, how much more do you have?"

Before I put it on shuffle I look at the devices storage info and it says... "holly shit it's got 20,000 songs on here." Then I press shuffle.

Tairin looks shocked after hearing me say that "you're kidding right?"

I shack my head "nop I'm not."

"Wow."

I press the navigation button and go through the options until I have set my destination somewhere near that forest Tairin said he wanted use to go to.

After it calculates my route a voice says "please stay on the interstate."

Tairin and the others freak out and look at me for answers "who was that?"

*Chuckle* I shack my head "it was the navigational system settle down alright. It's nothing to worry about."

*Relieved sigh* "good, that scared me...sorry."

I shack my head smiling "whatever."

We keep driving for about 15 minutes then thoughts enter my head, curious thoughts "Tairin...how many other creatures are out there that are just like us humans?"

Tairin raises a brow "and why do you ask?"

I shrug "Curious...that's all."

He nods his head "well...probably like...hmm that's a hard one there's so many..." Tairin pauses for a few minutes "like about 30 million and the thing is there's more that will hurt you then those that won't. For example have you ever heard of the junk yard worm?"

I shack my head "no what is that?"

"Well as far as I know it's harmless, but I was visiting this one area and came across one of your old small abandoned junk yards and I decided to rest there and look around at some of the interesting stuff your people had laying around and after awhile I saw something sticking out of the dirt in one of the piles and I went over to look at it. Once I got right in front of what I think is the front end 2 eyes open and scare the shit out of me, it made me fall on my ass. It studied me for a little while then looked straight up at the sky as though it were the only thing left in the world. I had never seen something, so...different before, it just kept on looking at the sky and there wasn't anything I could do to get its attention. I was too concerned about what it could do to try and pull it out, I mean for all I knew it might be a decoy and what's under the ground is what would eat me or there might be more and they might come after me. Eventually it went back under the ground and I could no longer see it once night fell. That is just one of many stories though."

I start to get excited again "tell me more; I want to hear more about these strange creatures?"

He stares at the dashboard thinking for awhile "okay I got one, this creature is not even close to being as nice as the last and it can talk, but I don't know the language. This is one I heard a human telling to others around a camp fire, but it even made me shiver because I asked around and this creature has been encountered before by us, thankfully there was no violent confrontation between our races. Anyway there was a group of humans going to a wooded area that they would always go to and have a good time, well when they got a little ways in there they found a dead animal, but it wasn't the fact that the animal was dead it was how it was killed. Its legs, arms, and eyes were cut off and the belly was cut open and some of the organs were taken. What was really weird is that it was cut so fine, like someone had cut it with a knife. He said he had never seen anything, so strange, but disregarded what was probably a warning. He thought it was a sick hunter killing for fun and dissecting it and took what he needed. As he and his friends ventured further down the path he heard a shrill scream and looked behind himself and saw a black winged creature the size of a large man and just as he saw it, it disappeared into the woods. Within seconds it appeared to the right of them a good 50 feet away and said something in a dark satanic tone to them in a strange language that of which he could not understand. After that it flew off in the opposite direction and they all ran as fast as they could back to their cars and none of them have returned since. They said you couldn't pay them to go back that's how scared they are of going back. And to be honest it would take allot for me to go visit a horrible creature like that."

‘Wow that is unreal' "anything else, what other creatures are out there?"

He looks at me like ‘you got to be kidding me, more.' "Alright, but this is the last one okay?"

I immediately respond "okay!"

Tairin turns to me "dragons!"

I frown in disappointment "impossible, there fairy tales."

He looks at me questionably "are you sure, are you 100% sure there is no such thing as dragons?"

I look at him quickly then back to the road and narrow my eyes in thought ‘as far as I know they have been nothing, but a fairy tale in books and intended to scare medieval European children into going to bed when their mothers told them.' "Ye...yes I'm 100% sure."

Tairin grins "okay, then tell me why they have been carved into stone all over the world, are you still 100% sure now?"

I narrow my eyes toward Tairin confused "what do you mean?"

*Chuckle* "well they have been spotted in the far off lands that you call u...rope, as...i, Africa, aust...ray...li...a, um South America, and North America. So tell me...since your history books say north and south America were cut off from the rest of the world for some time, why is it that humans carved these creatures that had striking similarities and around the same time u...rope peoples stone sculptures of dragons were being created when it was what, 500 to 1000 years before any foreigners reached both north and south America. You can't tell me that's a coincidence because I myself don't believe it. There are too many variables to just dismiss this as a fairy tale."

I glance over at him completely stunned. "Are you serious, that just doesn't make sense. By the way it's Europe not u...rope, Asia not as...i, and Australia not aust...ray...li...a."

"Oh, thanks and yes I am serious, so is there anything else you would like to know?"

‘What about the magic he uses' "magic?"

Tairins eyes go wide "NO absolutely not, you know I can't tell you anything about that."

I look over to him with the ‘are you serious look' "you've got to be kidding me, why...why...why...why...why...why...why?"

"Because if I tell you then you might tell the others if you escape."

I roll my eyes "come on, first of all you made your point very clear to me last time that if I try to escape I would be severely punished. That threat still hasn't left my head you know, it still scares the shit out of me every time I think about it. So tell me, why are you so scared of telling me when there is no way for me to escape?"

Tairin thinks for a minute about this and is deep in thought while closing his eyes "alright I'll tell you, but you must promise never to tell a soul, got it?"

I nod "I promise."

*Sigh* Tairin looks up at me with a defeated expression "well back when we first met your race it was obvious, you didn't like us and as a result your people were killing us left and right, so we learned to evade your kind and got very good at it. Until this one human came along that every other intelligent creature on this planet feared. His name was Marcus Palrineaus and he hated all of us. Even though these were pagan times he still hated us and wanted to destroy us. So he made an army and went after us like many before him and he and his army were almost wiped out like his predecessors, but he managed to escape with a few of his men. We never could figure out how he did it until the great Alpha which is much like your kings by the way. Well when our people got to his small camp he was standing outside with red glowing eyes wearing his battle armor with his men standing in front of him, which were wearing black hooded cloaks with staffs in their hands and red glowing eyes as well. He looks at us and grins so wide you'd think he would have split his mouth open. We charge him and his men and he just laughs at us. Once we're almost there they push their staffs toward us and that physically throws us back. He keeps doing this until all of them are dead. After that the great Alpha formed an army the likes of which no one has ever seen before at the time and marches toward them. Even with all the powerful wolves in the world at the time we weren't able to muster enough power to defeat him. The same thing was happening from before until a storm cloud mysteriously formed and a lightning bolt hits the ground and a human takes its place wearing a old cloak and fought Marcus himself with all of his power and was winning until the other humans started to help him then he started to slowly lose, but when the Alpha came up to him asked what he should do.

The human said grab a hold of my shoulder and tell everyone else to do the same. I will use what spiritual energy you have. The Alpha did as he was told and said to the others put your hand on each other's shoulders and form a link to him. Once this was done he was able to have enough power to overwhelm them and killed all the humans, but Marcus. Once Marcus's power was drained the other human walked up to him and said "my name is Merlin and you know who I am because I am the one that gave you your power and I expected you to use it to help people."

Marcus is on his knees out of breath "I am, I'm protecting my people from the likes of them" he points to us. "They have savagely murdered our people and I will not stand for it."

Merlin shacks his head "you should know better Marcus, but I should have known better than to trust you with such great power. I guess you will not be the one to inherit my powers."

Marcus narrows his eyes as Merlin turns around and then he gets up and charges him, but just before he can strike him he is stopped just before he hits Merlin.

Merlin turns around and narrows his eyes at Marcus "you are the fool of all fools Marcus; I can't believe I ever saw anything in you." Merlin turns around and looks at the Alpha. "I have chosen the one that will inherit my powers though; it will be you, all of you. You're the only ones that have noble causes and pure hearts. You will not get all the powers I gave to Marcus, only some, I realize now that that was a mistake. You will receive the power of healing, knowledge, and many stealth tricks that will come in handy when you need to use them. However the Alpha will get one ability that no one else will have. And that's the ability to tell the future. What I am about to give you will be a part of you; it can never be removed, but will be a part of your pups just as it is a part of you. It will be no stronger or weaker than what you will have. Now everyone grab a hold of one another and link to me."

Everyone puts their hands on each other's shoulders.

Merlin closes his eyes as light forms around him and everyone feels this intense power rushing into their bodies. Once everyone is given their powers they let go. Merlin looks to the Alpha "interlock your fingers with mine like this" he shows him what he wants him to do and the Alpha nods understanding what he just said. They interlock their hands together and Merlin focuses heavily on what he is doing. After about 2 minutes Merlin stops and says "it is complete."

The Alpha looks over at Marcus then Merlin "what's to become of this shit face?"

Merlin glances back at Marcus who is pleading with his eyes for mercy. With no emotion in Merlin's voice "he's yours to do as you please with, but whatever fate should befall of him is too good for him."

Tairin stares at the road "then the Alpha asks some more questions and that is how we got our powers."

I glance over at him "MERLIN! Merlin from the legend of the Knights of the Round Table?"

"Yes, why?"

I look over at him shocked "dude, Merlin, I...I can't believe Merlin had anything to do with werewolves. It doesn't surprise me that knights would follow someone like Marcus though, they always follow people with power."

Tairin looks at me questionably "What do you mean by that?"

"Medieval Knights were thugs, bullies, cocky, and horrible people. It got so bad that the Kings had to put laws in place to protect the people and for a king to care do that meant that there were serious problems because the kings back then didn't care about the people only gaining more power. Otherwise a knight could come into your home and demand anything they want and that's often what they did. I don't know where this knight in shining armor shit came from I mean it's the exact opposite. Just because he was born into nobility doesn't mean he has it in his heart. The phrase to me makes no sense."

Tairin nods "I see, hey I never could figure out something, I know this is off topic, but why do your people keep on pursuing this dream of greater technology when what you had before was so much better for you?"

"Easier way of living, but I see what you're talking about, it's pointless, I agree, but others love it and couldn't live without it. There's always that feeling of having more or something better and as long those people remain in power things will always be this way, but it's not too bad living like this."

Tairin nods "I see, well I guess that makes sense, but tell me then, why do your people suffer so much as it is when you could be living so much better without technology."

Without taking my eyes off the road "because the need and want to have more and be loved are the same too many humans in this world. But if you look at what we have achieved as a race, it's quite a bit. I mean look at all the technological advances we have made in the last 100 years; you can barely recognize this country as it is if someone from 100 years ago looked at it now a days."

Tairin smiles "why do you humans have to make things so much more complicated then they have to be? Sure you got all the technological advancements that you say makes life easier, but actually if you would have stayed the way you were you would be healthier and happier with your lives."

I look at him seriously and with no emotion say "we do what we do because it's in our blood and it's not something you can change."

Tairin looks out the window then widens his eyes as he looks at me "I think someone is following us?"

I look in the rear view mirror "yeah, I know...he's been with us since we got onto Interstate 69, he's good, I almost didn't notice him when we got on, but I did because of his unique vehicle?" I think about it while Tairin talks.

Tairin looks freaked once again "what kind of car does he have, can we outrun it?"

I look back into my mirror "It's a Vauxhall VXR8, that's a fast car and not to be underestimated, but the Cadillac CTS is faster by about 20 mph."

Rhine looks back then looks at me puzzled "I've seen many cars before and it's pretty easy to remember there symbols, but I've never seen that one before."

"Vauxhall is stationed in Europe, but is owned by GM, it's a unknown company here, but is recognized in Europe. That particular model the VXR8 is the Vauxhalls best vehicle ever made. When I say best I mean the best in performance. It's there most badass car on the lot. Wait it's got no plates, shit who is this guy?"

Tairin starts to get nervous again "how fast can this car go and how fast can that car go?"

I contemplate that for a minute "well I know for a fact that this car can go 193 mph, but that's in a manual and this isn't a manual, so since this is a government vehicle I bet it can run that and maybe hit 200 if they did some extra stuff to it. As for the VXR8 I only know it regular top speed of 170 mph, I have no clue how fast that car can go if they messed with the engine. I'm guessing that car can run around 180 to 190, but that cars built for speed and this one's built for luxury, so that cars acceleration is fast than mine because the CTS is much heavier. Anyway hang on I've gonna try to see if he is really following me or not." I wait for the next exit and pull off and sure enough he's right behind me and I can see a hood figure driving the car. ‘What the fuck who is that and what is he doing, he couldn't know...could he and are his eyes reflecting light back at me because I'm seeing his eyes from here'. Instead of going left or right I go back onto the on ramp to make sure and he goes right across following me right back onto the on ramp.

The dogman that hasn't yet said a word turns around and says "flour it."

I push the accelerator to the flour and my red CTS lurches forward, but I'm not trying to get back up to speed I'm gonna try my luck losing him. "I know this isn't the time, but I don't really care, so what is your name so I have something to call you by?"

He looks at me "my names Fairen."

I nod and look at the speedometer ‘105 mph' "Tairin, Rhine, and Fairen...what do you call her."

Tairin looks at me "I believe you call them bitches."

*Chuckles* I look down and the speedometer again ‘145 mph' "yes we do, but what do YOU call her?"

Tairin shrugs "we don't have a name for her?"

I glance down at my speedometer again ‘168 mph'. Then I look into my rear view mirror and see him gaining on us. "Shit he's gaining, prepare for evasive maneuvers."

I'm at 186 mph swerving in between cars trying to lose him when it dawns on me" ‘you can't lose someone on the interstate unless you cause a crash' I decided not to cause a crash and instead turn on my police lights and regular lights. I turn off on the next exit ramp and slammed on the brakes till I'm at 48 mph then pull up the E brake and make a sharp hard right and only have a little trouble completing the turn as I'm know heading toward Fort Wayne. I look behind me and the VXR8 makes the turn with the same difficulty as me. I increase my speed until I hit around 100 mph then I stay there as I race through the city with the VXR8 following close behind me. A cop sees us and pulls out chasing us with his red and blue flashing lights going and his police siren blaring as we make our way closer to the center of Fort Wayne. I slam on the brakes and pull on the E brake to make a sharp turn going 38 mph around the corner. After I successfully make the turn I look in my rear view mirror and see he made the turn without much difficulty either. I pull on the E brake as I make a easy left and am on a big road that is blocked off quite a ways up there. I look back and he is still behind me, but as we pass each street police cars keep filing in 2 or 3 at a time quickly increasing their numbers. Just before I get to close to the road block I make a pull up on the E brake at 41 mph and make the turn will barely any difficulty and so does the VXR8.

The driver's side window slowly comes down on the VXR8 and a pistol appears from the window and a spray of bullets exits the automatic pistol and hits my car.

I swerve out of the way as some of the bullets hit my car, some hit the ground and the rest hit other cars. Once I see a turn I slam on the brakes and make a hard sharp right turn going 65 mph barely keeping the car on 4 wheels while hearing the car screech its tires profusely as I make the turn. I flour it again once I'm clear and the VXR8 barely makes the turn itself then he speeds up and quickly catches up to me. The police in front wiz right by, but the ones in the back make the turn and flour it in their Impalas and Crown Vic's. The police station is nearby and there is a line of cars and men along the road blocking my way with guns pointed at us.

Tairin looks at me for answers "shit what are we gonna do?"

I look at him very nervously "just watch and brace yourselves." ‘I hope this works.'

He looks back at the road hoping for the best.

‘There about a ½ a mile out and I can't believe there's no other roads to escape through until you hit the road block. I hope this works.' He's about 15 ft behind me. I speed up and when I hit 123 mph I turn the steering wheel of the car while pulling up on the E brake then flip my car into reverse so my vehicle completely turns around and while I was doing this the VXR8 comes up right by me, but before he could shoot us and fly right by to go through and smash his way through a small opening in between 2 cars. I made sure I went a little farther while turning around. So once I'm all the way turned around I go a little farther and hit his car just hard enough to adjust his course so he turns his attention back to the road and sees he's about to hit a police car dead center on the side. I imagine him widening his eyes before he hits the cop car.

He hits the Impala at about 94 mph and his car hits it so hard he flips his car over the Impala and is sent flying in the air flipping a few times before hitting the hard asphalt nose first compacting it more in the front then it flips over diagonally a little to the right and hits the road crushing the end of one of the corners then flipping almost horizontally and hitting one of the front corners and repeats this process over and over until he finally hits a light pole and takes it out while being pushed up by the light pole and hitting the upper part of a brick building going straight through it and finally stopping just inside the building.

After my car hits his I slam on the brake and only hit the corner of a crown vic going about 43 mph and smashing the corner or the crown vic and the back of my car. My car finally comes to a halt in between a crown vic to my left and an impala to my right. After I regain my senses I look to see if everyone is alright and see that they have been thrown around a little, but other than that there fine. I am about to get out of here when I hear.

"Freeze...put your hands up."

I see other cops surround the car pointing shotguns and pistols at me. I raise my hands up like they asked.

Well what will happen now, will someone try to save them or will they be left to die, lol of course you know which one it isn't, but what will happen...seriously? Only I know and you guys will just have to wait and see next chapter. And who is that mystery guy? He sure is strange isn't he? Lol I bet you guys hate me for stopping it there.
