Edited/Proof-Read by nebuloussupposition on DA

Yes I am proud of that pun. This was a funner one to write. The commission came at a weird time, working on a super secret but fun project I think you guys and gals will like! Either way, this was a fun little diddy to write! Thanks for commissioning!

"Alright John, you ready for your first high-level magic trick?" the tall and lean well-dressed man asked to the much shorter lad, dressed as well as the man himself.

"I know I am Zach! I can do this with my eyes closed! Magic comes easily to me!" John replied back to his teacher with nothing but confidence in his voice.

Zach simply shook his head. Having taken John under his wing when John was much younger, Zach acted a bit as a parent to him. John traveled with Zach, lived with Zach, and even loved Zach like he was a brother. They were very close and once John had become of age, Zach began teaching him magic. He did catch on quite quickly, but he never made time to practice. John claimed he didn't need to since he was such a natural. This was the biggest issue Zach had with his apprentice. He worried John would mess up a trick and then he'd give up for good. He had the potential in him, the problem was his ego and cockiness.

This show was going to be the official unveiling of John as Zach's apprentice. He was going to perform his first higher magic trick which was a transformation spell-one of the hardest spells to pull off right. Why was it so hard? If not careful, the transformation becomes permanent and the transformed cannot return to their old bodies due to a kind of "magic lock" the forms. If a transformation is not given a time limit, the lock never unlocks, and the person stays that way. It takes a vast amount of concentration, and Zach didn't think John could pull it off. Zach hoped he was wrong as he took a deep breath and took the stage.

Drew waited in his car outside his friend Tyler's house. They were both going to go see the "Zachery's Zestful and Zany Magic Show." They were both big fans of magic, and when an actual magician came to their town, it was a must-see. Drew had arrived an hour early to make sure they were on time, listening to the radio while waiting for Tyler to come and join him in the car.

"Where is he...?" Drew pondered as he drew out his cell phone and noticed a text from Tyler, reading it out loud "Hey man, really sorry I can't make the show tonight. I have to make an emergency trip to Wisconsin; I hope you understand. I'll pay to fly us out to their next performance. I promise!"

Drew locked his phone and put it back into his pocket as he leaned back in his seat with a sigh. Tyler was the only person he knew that liked magic as much as he did, and going alone wasn't the preferred option. He sent a text message to almost his entire contact list which was answered with "No's", no responses, and new phone who is this? messages.

Drew sighed and started up his car. He wasn't going to miss it, but he was bummed he'd be attending alone. He tried not to let it bother him as he made his way to the venue. He checked in, signed some paperwork that was required of him in case something went wrong (he figured the likelihood was close to null), and got into his seat, just a few rows away from the front on the left hand side. He played on his phone for a while, taking pictures so he could rub it in Tyler's face later. He knew it was a business trip; Tyler never took a day off so his guilt wouldn't be too bad. However once the lights dimmed, he respectfully turned the phone off, prepared to enjoy the show.

Soon enough Zach took the stage, and a spotlight following him to the center of it. "Greetings everyone! Thank you for coming out today! This show is very special; tons of surprises, so let's get it started!" This was met with thunderous applause. Zach did some more traditional tricks: sawing someone in half, making someone "disappear", stuff like that. He always opened up with the classics before moving on with more grand tricks.

"Alright everyone, to start off the second half please welcome to the stage someone very to special to me! Tonight's my apprentice's premiere! Come on out here John!"

John ran up to the stage as the spotlight followed him, waving to the crowd as he and Zach shared a handshake and head nod. "Alright, I'll need a volunteer from the audience!" John said looking towards it. "You there! Come on up!" he said, the spotlight landing on Drew himself. He pointed to himself in a "me?" gesture. "Yes, you! Get on up here!"

A smile formed on Drew's face as he practically ran up to the stage, pure excitement filling his body. Even if he was alone, he was going to be apart of the show, and during such a historic moment! "First of all thank you for volunteering, and now what's your name lad?" John asked to him.

"Drew! Excited to be selected!"

"That's good! You're going the recipient of my first transformation spell! Should last just as long as the show does!"

Drew nodded.

"Now then, why don't we get started hm?" John asked with a smirk. He pulled out a wand from his jacket and starting moving it around, keeping it pointed at Drew.

For Drew, he begin to feel a kind of tickling sensation. It was as if there were bugs crawling all over his body. Drew allowed a giggle to escape from the feelings, and as he began to feel a kind of warmth travel throughout his body;, he knew the transformation was about to begin.

Drew's body hair seemed to double, then triple, and so forthfourth, only growing only brown hairs, so much so that it was undeniably brown fur. Drew ran a hand through his arm fur, a goofy smile on his face. It was actually happening! His arms became much more slender and feminine, his hands becoming a darker brown in nature. Drew's shoulders seemed to push downward, losing their masculine broadness. His adam's apple shrank until there was basically nothing left. Drew brought a hand up to his fur-covered throat.

"Whoa, that feels weird!" Drew said out loud, a much more higher pitched and feminine voice coming out from his lips. The changes continued at his head. Drew's ears became much longer, slowly moving up to the top of his head, becoming the same dark brown that his hands were. They gained the ability to move in conjunction with his emotions as well. His face pushed outward into a rather sizable muzzle, his nose becoming dark brown at the tip of it. Drew's eyelashes elongated while his eyebrows thinned, becoming much more feminine in nature.

Drew brought both of his hands onto his muzzle, feeling it in amazement. As he did so, his shoulders pushed outward as flesh began to build up at his chest, becoming softer and more sensitive as itthey grew. Drew brought his hands down and looked down, two C cup size breasts now being sported by him. Though it was hard to see, Drew could feel a strange sensation as a pouch formed at his belly, all while his waist caved inward and back went into an arch. From behind him, a long brown tail formed, tearing apart his pants.

Drew began blushing harshly as the term "he" began to not fit so much. At Drew's crotch, his manhood slowly "retreated" back into him, leaving nothing but an opening down there. Drew's reproductive system had transformed as well to better fit her new kangaroo body. Her hips widened outward to childbearing sizes while Drew's rear-end became more pronounced. Her legs became shapely while her feet became much longer, finishing off her full transformation into a kangaroo woman.

Drew looked down at her body in pure awe. She felt her slender, fur covered arms more, her long muzzle, looked down at her feet, behind at her tail, and even though it wasn't the greatest idea to do in public,; she felt her breasts,; a wave of pleasure and other sensations pulsing through her body confirmed they were very much real. Blushing, she even felt down at her crotch, cringing a bit at the strange feeling of nothingness down there.

"Well then my lovely roo? How does it feel?" John asked with a smile, taking one of Drew's hands, which only made herhim blush more.

"It's...different. But nice! It's nice. I just can't believe I'm like this! I was wondering if this was going to be real or not but it really is!" Drew said, finding herself fumbling over her words out of the variety of emotions she was feeling.

"Have a seat right over there and come see me after the show, okay love?"

Drew nodded and blushed even more, being called all these feminine names made her feel actually really nice.

As Drew left the stage, the show continued on., Zach did most of the acts while John jumped in for a few. The rest of the magic show was quite excitinged, and after the magicians took their bows and said their goodbyes, Drew walked up to the stage and went behind the curtains to talk with John about turning back to normal, and was greeted with a less than ideal sight.

"It should of worn off by the end of the show!" Zach scolded down to John.

"I don't get what happened! It was only meant to be a five5 minute change!"

"You didn't practice enough is what happened! You thought you could just wing it and now's that poor lad's stuck as a kangaroo!"

"Um...excuse me?" Drew finally spoke up. "You're talking about someone else...right?" she asked nervously, already knowing the answer.

"You can talk to her about it, I'll see you around kid." Zach said before leaving the room.

"Okay, this uh...isn't going to be easy for me to say or you to hear." John started before getting cut off.

"I'm going to stay like this aren't I?"

"Y-yes." John said rubbing the back of his head. "Something went wrong with the spell and well...yeah. What you said. I'm very sorry for all of this and anything I can do to help adjust to such a massive change in life style I will do. I'll even quit magic if you want me to."

Drew stood there silent for a moment. Sure, this was going to be a whole lot of things to get used to, not to mention family and friends and he was upset. On the other hand, he didn't want someone to quit their dream because of one fluke. She loved magic as much as anyone else, so taking that away from someone capable of it was something she just couldn't bring herself to do.

"Okay..." Drew let out with a deep breath. "Tell you what, you help me with adjusting to this body and I'll help you with your magic so this kind of thing never happens to anyone else. Sounds like a deal?"

"Yeah. Sounds like a deal. I didn't expect this to go this well." John said with a weak chuckle.

"I guess it did go better than expected..." Drew smiled a bit. She didn't know if it was the estrogen and female hormones pumping through her system now, but there was a small thought, one she tried to suppress; John was pretty cute.

*****

Drew and John were both walking out of the venue, Drew finding it hard to walk properly and comfortably. It felt with each step she'd fall on either her front or back, thanks in no part to her breasts and long tail. Not to mention her long feet felt weird and she had this odd desire to hop rather thaen walk. That wasn't her real concern though. Everytime she glanced at John, it felt like she had butterflies in her stomach. It was very much like when she had a crush in grade school, but why? He was the one responsible for all of this but she just couldn't find herself being mad at him.

They kept walking the mostly silent walk back to where John lived., bBy then Drew had finally mastered being able to walk with her new center of balance. She had actually gave into the hopping urge a few times but it made her travel much faster than John could (or at least was willing to) so she opted to not do it. She felt this urge to stay near him.

As they both entered into John's house, Drew felt a familiar urge in an unfamiliar body: the urge to pee. The thought of always having to sit down to pee brought back that red on her face that kept making appearances. "Hey...uh...where's your bathroom?" she asked rubbing her arm.

"Yeah, just upstairs. I'll wait for you down here." he said back.

Drew made her way upstairs and luckily the first door she opened was the bathroom. She quickly locked the door behind her, but was stopped by the mirror. She looked at her reflection for the first time. There were very small hints of her former face, namely her eyes while everything else looked like a whole new person. Being a whole different species probably didn't help either. She brought a hand up to her face and felt it again, only instead of blushing she actually smiled. Drew had to admit she actually made a pretty cute roo.

However, her moment was cut short as the urge to use the bathroom came back in full force. It felt harder to hold it in compared to before to. She brought down her pants but then stopped. She knew girls had to pee sitting down...but most girls don't have a tail! She was practically dancing in front of the toilet in an attempt to hold in the inevitable stream of urine. That's when she got an idea. She knew it'd look ridiculous, granted she was an kangaroo woman so anything would look ridiculous. She took a deep breath, and sat facing the toilet. She actually found herself laughing at the whole thing. Never thought she'd ever have to use the bathroom like this! It was a weird feeling, peeing a whole new way, but she got to sit down which was nice, considering how far they walked.

She cleaned up and wastched her hands, which felt much weirder than before, but nothingnoting compared to the rest of the bathroom usage. She walked back downstairs, noticing how her breasts bounced as she walked down them. It occurred to her that she was going to need to wear a bra now otherwise they'd keep bouncing everywhere. Drew joined John back in the living room and smiled at him, not trying to hold it back for the first time. If she was going to feel these feelings, she was going to own them.

"H-hey. How was...the new bathroom experience?" John asked a bit awkwardly, not sure what to say.

"Fun actually." Drew replied with a small giggle, blushing at the action but moving past it. "Had to sit backwards because of the tail!" she added with another giggle.

"I can imagine." he replied back with a weak chuckle.

Drew frowned, he knew he was feeling nothing but guilt over everything. She didn't like seeing him like that so she swallowed her pride and spoke up. "I like this you know?" she commented. "Sure it's going to take getting used to, but I needed change in my life and you gave me that! Plus how many people can say they're n kangaroo woman?"

"I guess..."

"And don't beat yourself up! I'll help you with your magic! Tell you what, why don't I be your assistant?" she asked with a smile.

That comment made John look into Drew's eyes for the first time since everything. "Really? Even after everything I did to you?"

"Yeah, besides it'd probably be cool to have a roo woman around with you for an assistant! Plus I love magic! I'd love even more to help showso it to the world!"

"You must love magic then." John said with a small laugh and first smile since the accident.

"You're pretty cute when you smile, you know that?" Drew said, mentally kicking herself. She may haveof made things a lot more awkward.

"Th-thanks. You're...pretty to." he said blushing looking away, which only made Drew blush as well.

"I don't really think Drew's a fitting name for me anymore..." she broke the silence.

"So what are you going to call yourself?"

"Call me...Diane." she replied with a smile.

"Okay, Diane. Even if you're not mad at me I'm going to buy you clothes as an apology and I won't take no for an answer!"

"Fine by me!" the newly named Diane said with a smile.

And so the two made their way back out, optinged to head to the mall to shop for new clothes. Thanks to a little bit of magic from John, no one batted an eye at the kangaroo woman that was there,. aAs a matter of fact, they acted like that was a completely normal thing. Something Diane was secretly thankful for. She bought the things she knew she would needs,: bras, underwear, shirts, pants, basically a whole new wardrobe. John seemed to have the money so she didn't question it. Pajamas, formal wear, casual wear, everything. Diane had no need for shoes anymore, and no shoes would fit her so there was a plus.

A few years later...

"Hello everyone! Thank you for coming out to Jubilant John's Magic Extravaganza! I'm the assistant to the man of the hour, girlfriend to. I don't mean to brag ladies!" the was a pause as the audience laughed. "This is our first big show, and we actually met at his first ever show back when he was with '"Zachery's Zestful and Zany Magic Show.'" What a mouth full am I right?" she giggled as the audience laughed with her. "He turned me into a female kangaroo, what a first date! Anyways enoughanother blathering from me,. yYou came here for magic! Please welcome Jubilant John himself!" she clapped along with the audience as the spotlight shone on John, whoyou began bowing to the audience.

"Thank you to my lovely girlfriend for that introduction! I bought her that dress! Delayed this show a month because it cost so much!"

"You told me money wasn't an issue!" Diane defended giggling.

"Luckily we made that money back thanks to all of you! Give yourself a round of applause." John said, clapping as the audience and Diane joined in. "Let's get the show on the road!"

What John didn't know was that thereir was a familiar face in the audience, spying on the show from afar. It was none other than Zach himself, who disguised himself the best he could. He smiled at the two,. tThey made a cute couple and quite a dynamic duo on stage. He wished his wife provided the same. He watched all the magnificent tricks John was able to pull off, some of which Zach himself probably couldn't do.

"I knew making that transformation permanent would whip him into shape." he said with a smirk before turning his head and walking away, leaving the couple to finish to show.
