Revenge-Chapter 1- A New Purpose

It began as your normal summer day; the trees blew in the summer breeze and the summer sun casted a bright glow on the ground and in the skies, bees and butterflies flew in the winds as they continued doing what they did best. Amongst nature's splendor stood proud one of time's most memorable traditions, a father and his son playing catch. The kid was a young badger, he was no older than 6, his gray fur bore the original looks of a traditional badger, the black marking around his eyes with the white stripes that led over his head. Underneath his fur the sight of soon to develop muscles could barely be seen, the only clue that they were there was if you caught them doing some form of physical activity. The young badger's father however was completely different, his fur was not gray but a light brown, the black fur that masked his eyes were now becoming gray and white. His body however remained slightly muscular a beer keg belly had now formed where once laid a rock hard six pack, his arms were muscular but had lost most of their definition. The son giggled as he tossed the football back and forth to his father. His brown eyes glimmered with innocence and life as he watched his father with joy and passion.

"Ok Tyler, go as far and fast as you can, this one is going cross country!" The older badger shouted as he focused as much energy into his right arm as he could.

"Ok dad!" The young badger shouted back with a happy filled voice. With a forceful grunt Tyler's father sent the football on a one-way route. Tyler ran, his mouth open with a smile as he eyed the football in the air. Further and further Tyler ran chasing after the pigskin ball his mind completely attached to it. With a soft thump the football crashed to the ground and began rolling into a nearby group of trees. "Dad you threw it too far!" Tyler whined to his father without looking at him. As Tyler navigated through the trees in search of the lost ball his father stood in wait for his son's return. As the father waited for his son to return two Mechs slowly descended behind him, the wind roared around Tyler's father forcing his clothes to violently clap and whip in the air. Their huge metal frames soon landed on the ground behind Tyler's father bringing an end to the violent lashes of the wind.

"Today's my day off, what's wrong down at the base?" the old badger huffed as he continued looking into the trees waiting for his son.

"By order of Commander Murder you must die at all cost General Brant." The voice was straight forward and sharp as it flowed from the mech's speakers.

"What are you..." Before the adult badger had time to respond the mech's lifted their rifles and began to open fire on the defenseless badger. Tyler was soon making his way back out of the woods with the football in hand when he saw the destruction in front of him. The ball fell to the ground as Tyler watched chunk by chunk of land launch into the air, for each shell that left the mechs' rifles the ground lost giant sized handful of grass and dirt. Assured that their target was completely obliterated, the thrusters on the back of the mechs ignited and propelled the pilots away. Speechless and horrified Tyler found himself staring at the cluster of pot holes where he last remembered his father stood. Tears began to pool in his eyes as he found himself slowly approaching the battered area of dirt, and grass. As the young badger came closer to the site of destruction clouds heavy with rain crawled into the sky. Dark grey with sinister aura, the foreboding clouds covered the sky shrouding any light that came into its presence. Now in the middle of the site where the two mechs killed his father, Tyler turned his head left and right hoping to find any sign of his father. No trace to be seen the little badger fell to his knees with his head held low. As he sat there the tears finally began to roll across his cheeks, as if the heavens could feel the now fatherless badger's pain, the clouds began to release their heavy load of rain. His father was all he had; the badger's mother had died after giving birth to him, being that both his mom and dad was the only child in their families Tyler didn't have any aunts or uncles. Tyler now sat there, a parentless child, his fur becoming matted down by the countless drops of rain. Motionless the poor badger sat there as the icy cold rain soaked into his fur and skin. A mixture of emotions ran rampantly inside of Tyler's body: anger, frustration, loneliness, sadness, these emotions plus more found themselves having a decathlon within the poor child.

"Well what do we have here?" a gruffy voice cooed as it approached Tyler. The young badger quickly turned around, his eye brows now furrowed into an intense glare, his teeth bared in plain view for all to see. Tyler stared at the dark figure in the rain; his dark figure remained hidden until the flash of a random lightning bolt came out of the sky. Even with the quick flash of light Tyler had enough time to make out his stranger; he was a male that bore a giant smile on his face, his body adorned a heavily soaked white lab coat, a deep scar ran over one of eyes; red eyes that dominated his facial profile with unwavering blood thirst. Another bolt of lightning struck and revealed that Tyler's stranger was a great white; the torpedo like head, the gills that laid closely to his neck, all this made themselves evident to the young badger, but Tyler remained unnerved, he wanted to take his emotions out on something, even if it was a possible man eating shark. "The look in your eyes remind me so much of me when I was little." The shark chuckled. "Come now do you really think you can bring any harm to me cub, look at me, I'm a great white, blood thirst and carnage runs through my veins." The aquatic male smirked as he continued looking down at the set to attack badger. The words remained empty to Tyler as he cried out and charged at the shark, in a flash Tyler was off the ground and was being held in the air by one of his ankles. "Look at you! I could kill you right here if I wanted to, a nice young badger to hold me over until dinner! But what fun would that be." With that the lab coat wearing shark flung Tyler back onto the muddy, wet grass. Tyler slowly came off the wet ground and stood up once more to confront the adult shark. "My your annoying; I hate annoyance!" the shark said bluntly. With a heavy hmph the shark turned around and began to walk away, as he got further and further from the badger an idea in his head grew stronger and stronger until finally he stopped and turned his head to look at the young cub. Tyler stood there as he watched the shark look at him with the eye that had a scar across it. A small smile grew on the sharks face as he turned completely to face Tyler and walk his way. Now standing in front of the young badger again, the adult shark placed his hands in coat pockets as he began to speak. "Whatever that happened here must've hit you pretty hard kid, I can see it in your eyes, you want revenge don't you." The shark tilted his head. Tyler couldn't answer, he wanted to say yes, but each time he grew close to saying the word tears forced him to hold it in, so a simple nod was all he gave. "Well then come with me and I'll give you all the materials you'll need, all I ask is that you submit to me your body and mind." The shark said as he held out his hand to the soaking wet badger. Tyler slowly placed his hand within the grasp of the adult shark to show him his agreement, and with that Tyler's fate was sealed, one life had ended but another life was to soon take its place.

10 years later

Along a long metal hallway a person enrobed in a futuristic pilot outfit walked down the silent corridors. His green and black G-suit held a perfect fit that wasn't too tight or loose on his body. Underneath one of his arms he held a black helmet that had a full face visor that allowed the pilot to see. His face showed no emotions and his eyes seemed lost in concentration. The hallway he was once in had now turned into a skywalk as he walked across a metal platform that was held in the air by metal cables. "Now's the time kid, I've built your body to the perfect conditions to pilot this machine, and I broke your mind down just so I could build back up to surpass all those who would stand in your way." A familiar gruffy voice echoed from under the walkway.

"Whatever old man." A teenage voice replied. The pilot soon approached a zip line that hung from a cockpit inside of giant body of metal. Holding on tightly the pilot was pulled into the cockpit as the cord brought him inside. With a giant hiss the door of the cockpit closed tightly and locked the teenager inside. As the teenager placed on his helmet the cockpit lit up as three screens came online.

"You're still as annoying as you were when you were a kid. I still don't mind having you for dinner, don't forget that." The gruffy voice stated.

"If you ate me then who would pilot this machine for you ya doc." The young voice gave a slight snicker.

"You'll call me Dr. Redrum you got that cub!" the voice yelled back.

Wasting few seconds the young teenager flipped on switch after switch, with each switch a new device came to life, gears turned and electrical wires grew hot with life. Slowly the giant body of metal came to life as it began to stand up on its feet. Thunderous step after another the giant mechanical body walked its way to a wide open area, then with a giant clash two metal support claws took a tight grip onto the two feet of the machine. "Primary thruster on standby, launch pad secured." The pilot reported through the screen.

"Remember kid, your father built this machine just for you, show him just what you can do with it." The doctor firmly stated.

"That won't be a problem." The teenager said with a cold tone.

"Launch pad set for jettison in T minus 30seconds." Dr. Redrum said over the speaker.

"Hey doc, what was it you said my dad called this thing?" The young pilot asked.

"Gundam, that's what he said it was; he called it a gundam." The doctor said before he started counting from 10.

"Then that's what I'll call you, from now on you'll be Draco Gundam." The pilot said softly in his helmet. As soon as the doctor shouted the last number, the launch pad simultaneously gave a sudden jerk as it pulled the giant gundam with it, and then with a thunderous crash the gundam took flight into the air. "Draco Gundam taking flight!" as soon as the teenager shouted that he pulled back on two throttle inside of the cockpit, suddenly two giant, green wings erupted from the back of the machine and spread out wide. A hurricane like gale of wind soon formed behind it as it flew off into the distance.

"I gave you the materials just I said I would Tyler now its time to prove your word." The now middle age shark said as he leaned back into his chair.

Miles away two aircrafts were in mid flight, one was a personal jet while the other was an escort carrier with two mechs on board. Inside the personal jet sat a pair of generals on their way to an inspection of a nearby base. "Would you like something to drink Sir?" A stewardess asked one the generals

"A glass of champagne would be nice my fair lady." The general responded with a smile.

As the generals sat in the lap of luxury inside of the personal jet, the escort carrier had a team of soldier constantly monitoring the radar for any unknown or unexpected occurrences. Screen after screen was monitored by an experienced soldier suddenly alarms began to sound off through the entire air craft. The color of the entire inside turned red as the alarm light flashed every where, alarms blared causing the inexperienced soldiers to hold their ears in pain. Amongst the crowd of bustling soldier a commander was running as fast as he could to the radar deck to be informed of the problem. "What the hell is going on?!" the commander shouted to the soldier in charge of the radar.

"Sir we have a U.A.A coming in fast from our 12o'clock." The soldier quickly stated.

"Have you tried establishing a commlink with it?" the commander asked.

"Yes sir but it seems the pilot is ignoring our request." The soldier replied with a timid voice.

"Then that means he's a hostile!" with that the commander angrily rushed over to the nearest call desk and snatched a mic from its post. "We have hostile U.A.A. Pilots report to battle formation curtains and wait for further information." The commander shouted with authority and vigilance." Whoever the bastard is he's in deep shit now." The commander smirked as he looked at the radar that was now being displayed on a big screen.

Outside of the escort carrier, a large bay door on the underbelly of the plane slid open, as its metal doors opened fully two mechs jumped from inside and began to hover in sky. As they hovered they made sure they kept at a certain speed to maintain a good view of both aircrafts. "This is pilot 0-198, no sign of hostile has come into view yet." One of the pilots reported as he continued looking through his screen in his cockpit. "Wait a minute, there's something coming in fast but it's too far away to make out." The pilot shouted through his radio.

"See if you can establish a commlink." The commander ordered.

"Yes Sir!" the pilot replied. After a few frequency changes the pilot finally found a signal that had a reputable signal strength coming from the U.A.A. "This is Lieutenant Williams, you are traveling on a temporarily closed air route, either land now or yield off this route. Failure to not comply with this will result in your aircraft being shot down." The pilot warned. In response the pilot only heard static and silence, no voice, not even the breathing of the opposing pilot was audible. "Sir there's no response." The pilot reported back to his commander.

"Weapons are warm pilots, fire warning shots and wait for further instructions." The commander said as he watched the events unfold themselves one by one on the screen. With that the two mechs raised their rifles and began firing a string of ammo towards the unknown aircraft, however the U.A.A barely shifted in the wind, instead it just increased and began to close the gap between itself and the group of airplanes and mechs.

"Sir it's not stopping, in fact it's increasing speed!" the pilot said in a tone of tension and confusion mixed together.

"Weapons are hot, I repeat weapons are hot! That thing is now classified as an enemy boogie and is to be shoot down!" the commander commanded with adrenaline coursing through his veins.

"You heard the commander, shot to kill!" the pilot stated, soon after the two mechs fired a barrage of ammo aimed directly at their target.

"Let the games begin." A teenage voice softly said with a smile. With a roar of the thruster, the unknown aircraft took evasive actions as it spiraled in the air dodging strand after strand of fire. The pilots in the two mechs grew angry as each round of ammo they fired the aircraft easily dodged.

"What's going on, why isn't that thing out of the sky!" the commander was now growing furious as spittle of spit flew from his mouth with each word he shouted. The aircraft was now coming into view, its green wings reflected light causing it to seem like a glimmering star in the distance. Its unknown shape remained unidentified due to its horizontal flying stance.

"Sir we're going in for a close combat scenario while you and the jet increase speed and escape." One of the pilots reported through his speaker, with a gush of their jets the two mechs raced toward the winged aircraft. Suddenly with a flap of its wings the unknown aircraft stopped in mid-flight revealing its green dragon like body, its green wings with black stripes on the back kept it adrift in mid air. "What is that thing?" one of the pilots softly questioned what he was looking at. Its metal body was greatly different than any other mech they knew of, its green and black armor formed a muscular dragon look, its green eyes flashed as it reflected light, despite all this the mech still looked defenseless.

"I don't know what kind of mech you are but you're going down!" one of the pilots shouted as it pulled out a beam saber and charged directly at the gundam for a full frontal assault. With a forceful yell the pilot maneuvered his mech to strike with a fast downward slash at the green mechanical dragon, but the speed of his attack wasn't quick enough. With little easy the dragon like mech sidestep and was now its turn to attack. The pilot in the dragon mech just gave a light smile as the claws on his mech glowed a blue energy similar to the other mech's beam saber, and with both hands he gave horizontal slash splitting the top and bottom portion of the opposing mech. The other pilot watched as his teammate obliterated inside the explosion of his mech. Anger began to fill his body, hatred had now gained control of his mind, and with revenge on his palate the other pilot took off into the same fate of his partner. Slash after slash of his beam saber the dragon mech easily avoided them; his dragon like wings gave it superb maneuverability and agility far beyond any average mech. With one last strike the pilot allowed himself to be open for a counter-attack. The pilot inside of the dragon like machine gave another smile before the claws on his mech turned blue again and with one fell swipe of the mech's right hand, it slashed and cut straight down the middle of the mech like hot steel through butter. Fire and metal erupted from the explosion, but the other two aircrafts had managed to more than enough distance from the green dragon.

"Do you really think you can get away, I'll have my revenge!" the teenage voice shouted. The dragon like mech began to open its mouth while at the same time its green wings suddenly erupted into a metal melting inferno. The wings began to fold in toward the now gaping maw of the dragon mech, soon the fire that had both wings engulfed in flames were beginning to be pulled in towards the maw of the dragon mech. Bigger and bigger a ball of fire began to form as the flames from the wings spiraled around it, as the ball grew bigger the flames on the wings grew weaker until every ember had been poured into the now nova like ball of fire. "This is the beginning of the end.....DRACO QUASAR!" the young teenage pilot shouted out his war cry as the mech blasted the giant ball of energy in the direction of the two fleeing aircrafts.

"Any response from the two pilots?" the commander asked looking at one of the soldiers in charge of keep tabs on ally signals.

"No Sir, in fact, their mobile signals are completely gone." The soldier answered.

"What do you mean gone, as in destroyed?" the commander asked another question.

"I'm afraid so commander." The soldier sadly replied. Suddenly the alarm sirens in the escort carrier sounded off again. "What the hell is it this time!" the commander now becoming infuriated by all the interruptions.

"I don't know Sir, it's some kind of ball or sphere." A random soldier answered.

"Well bring it up on the monitor!" The commander shouted in a mixture of both anger and authority.

The commander's eyes quickly widened as he saw the giant ball of fire approaching both the carrier and the personal jet at a blind speed. In the jet with the generals the panic was overwhelming for both generals as they did whatever they could to help keep the people on board calm. "Take evasive actions immediately!" the commander ordered, but it was too late, the mech's attack was fast approaching at it scorched every tree top that dared to stand tall enough in its path. Soon the ball of fire had caught up with both aircrafts as it engulfed them into incinerating core. The commander, generals and all other soldier and unfortunate passenger had one last blood curdling scream of death before the quasar exploded and silencing them for all eternity.

The explosion of the blast gave off a bright sparkle in the distance as the pilot inside the dragon mech sat and observed through his cock pit. "My name is Tyler, and this is not a mech, this is Draco gundam. Those who should beware its might are those who oppose me." With that gundam released a fear installing roar as it hovered in the air in victory.
