Alex yawned as he stared up at the sky. Xiau Kan has been having a lot of storms recently and no one could really explain it. Even though it was the storm season, there shouldn't be as many as there was. It was kind of weird.

He swirled around, then noticed a silver blur darting at him at top-speed. As it got closer, he could make out a very dark gray, almost back, skull plate. The fur on the dragon's chest and belly was salt-and-pepper grey and black. Now Alex was sure of it. It was Samuel.
He readied himself as Samuel continued to close in on Alex with claws flashing and ready to kill. Alex flapped his wings and took to the skies as he readied himself as well. There was no way that he was going to lose this battle.
As they got close, Samuel opened his mouth to show a bright orange light bubbling in the back of his throat. Samuel snarled at the dragon before summoning another ball of flames in the back of his throat. This time, Alex was prepared.
