_(A foreward by the author: The following is a quite short (less than 2000 words) story involving a human and many non-anthro kitsune. This was written a few months ago for a good friend, I had largely forgot about it until sifting through some old files. I had originally intended it to be a oneshot, however if there is any interest I might consider expanding upon it and writing further "memoirs" of the journalist. ^_^

I had hoped my second entry into Yiffstar would be something much longer and grand. However multiple projects and other factors have left me with many unfinished works. As such I present to you my second entry into Yiffstar, enjoy, and comment ^_^.)_

Kitsune; those whom have even a cursory knowledge of Japanese culture and lore will be familiar with these creatures. However while their unique physical characteristics are well known (foxes with multiple tails), very few scholars have been able to accurately document the various subspecies and their mannerisms, culture, and general demenor; until now of course. What follows is one of my various encounters while living among the Zakkoku (assorted grain) Clan, responsible for patrolling the supply lines between villages.

Rain and Calm (Oct. 2~5, 1903)

It was early October and two months had passed since I'd first met with Kohei of the Zakkoku, my guide and guardian for the duration of my trip. I must admit I had underestimated him when we first met. His ears hung low as he walked and his tails were particularly unremarkable, showing a kind of flatness one might see on a canine whom has no home nor reason to groom himself beyond enough to be presentable at a ramen stand. Nevertheless he spoke clearly and with authority (in English, no less) to me and seemed to command a degree of respect from the other Kitsune. I had expected him to speak an older more proper variation of a Tokyo dialect (as all Kitsune I had met until then did). It was quite a relief to know my poor linguistic skills wouldn't interfere beyond a few obscure words that had no English equivalent.

At any rate, we arrived at Ichiro village late in the afternoon. Kohei, myself and the rest of our traveling companions welcomed the sight of the village that the grain on our backs was bound for. Leaving the large burlap sacks near the kitchen hut we retied to Sosoru's home. Sosoru was an older Kitsune who's tails dwarfed her body. Though her muzzle and forepaws showed scars of battle, the heavy fur on her chest did well to downplay their size or depth. She carried herself as one of age, with a grace and speed perfectly slow enough for one who's finished caring what others might say. I must say I felt a tad nervous standing in her home, my head was inches from her tall arched roof after all. Quick to relax her guests she strolled her way over, moving past furniture, pillows, even stepping over another sleeping traveler to me. She gave out a rather guttural "ikinuki" before grabbing the tea kettle from her fireplace, biting on the handle and flipping the spout open to pour tea into three small bowls.

Kohei wasn't the only Zakkoku with me of course, a standard patrol consisted of around twelve Kitsune of varying rank and ability, including a few single tail scouts, a few two tails whom were quite competent with weapons despite their young appearance, a few merchants whom had mastered looking like humans, and of course Kohei and his five tattered tails.

Kohei and Sosoru seemed familiar as they sat across from each other, quietly lapping their tongues in the tea. They spoke as a married couple might, the weather, recipes, friends, relations and near future plans that really wouldn't have much of an affect on anyone. I had wondered if I should attempt to join the conversation; however I felt that for my purpose was better suited as a shadow on a pillow rather than a flame in the room. As the oil in the lamps and wood in the fire grew low and dim respectively; Sosoru stood and carried her bowl to a small cut in the floor, as she dropped it in I heard a soft splash and clack.

I leaned over to find that a portion of her house ran over a stream that was used to rinse bowls and rice. Remarkable I thought, such an ideal example of building around nature to accommodate facilities. I probably would've spent a good deal of time examining this natural plumbing if Sosoru hadn't nudged me and nodded towards a bed roll. From her came yet another rough "shuumin " in a voice deeper than I would've ever guessed could come from a small female creature. Taking her advice of "go to bed" to heart, I crawled slowly to the bedroll. It was indeed a human bedroll, though the indents looked as if it had been used as a kind of five Kitsune bed much more frequently than for a single human person. I thanked her for the tea and sleeping quarters, disrobed down to my sleeping clothes then laid down. Sleep came quickly.

I awoke the next morning to a heavy rain and a cold chill in all places except my feet. I reactively reached for the sheets, reflex actions still present from my years before this living in a Yorkshire flat. I grumbled softly as I gripped air, quickly remembering that I hadn't been sleeping in a large bed but rather a mat on the floor of a kitsune's house. It wasn't a grumble that they didn't have blankets mind you, just I had momentarily been expecting a blanket to exist that didn't. Sort of like when one expects an apple cobbler and ends up with turnip soup. So back to what I had mentioned at the top of this paragraph, my feet were surprisingly warm.

I leaned up slightly to observe my feet and wondered if they had been given a (comparatively) tiny blanket, to my surprise there laid a small one tailed fox, laying the way a lazy cat might and sleeping peacefully. I slowly looked around and noticed infact many kitsune had come to the house today. Kohei slowly walked over to me. "The tengu and tanuki....trouble is brewing between them. They've challenged the tengu to a war-game, and the tengu are flooding the roads to assure themselves an easy victory......it's not safe to travel any paths today, but the tanuki should be defeated by tonight and the water level will have gone down."

I nodded in understanding as a second Kitsune climbed on my legs, and then a third. Kohei let a soft laugh pass through his muzzle as he cracked a small smirk. "try to enjoy yourself." was the only explanation he would give for what was going to happen as he walked near Sosoru, giving her muzzle a very gentle nudge.

I watched them as I was slowly covered in a blanket of kitsune. Kohei sat near Sosoru, whom remained on her stomach, moving her head but little else, watching as (to my surprise) a gleam of dark pink began to emerge, Kohei looking rather confident as his desire to mate became quite obvious. I honestly wouldn't say so much it was a desire, as I gauged the expression, perked ears and subtle canid smile, it seemed something he looked accustomed too. Sosoru remained still during this, as if she had already done her part and was only waiting for him. As his erection grew to full length he slowly walked behind Sosoru, who's tails had one at a time folded along her back and sides. To be honest she looked a bit like a garlic clove at this point. Save for a bit of pink to break up the white and grey shades.

If you've ever seen two dogs mate, where the male awkwardly tries to position himself, doing his best with wild thrusts to penetrate, this was absolutely nothing like that. Kohei stood for a moment, then reared up, his paws landing expertly on Sosoru as he slid down, his chest pressing to her lower back. He began to slowly inch forward. It became obvious to me that neither Sosoru nor Kohei were mating simply from the throws of lust or passion. The tip of his member met with Sosoru's relaxed folds and Kohei's arousal slowly began to disappear inside the mature fox hostess. These were two foxes mating slowly, enjoying it to the fullest. They both seemed quite content. I must admit at this time I too was quite aroused. From Kohei and Sosoru's mating; as well as the increasing number of foxes that had piled near me for warmth. One of the foxes near my mid section seemed to notice as a sudden jolt ran down my spine; Fox tongues are incredibly soft.

I remember mentioning something along the lines of "No, it's ok, really...." or some kind of weak hearted response, I was quickly quieted with each lick, each lap of her long flat tongue moving along my length and prodding the tip. I unbuttoned my Pajama bottoms to give her much easier access. My body was somewhat restrained by other Kitsune upon my arms, chest, legs, and even a tail across my neck.

Suddenly the tongue bath stopped. I was brought out of my blissful state with thoughts of worry. had I violated a code of conduct with the Kitsune? Had I gotten myself in trouble? Lost on that train of thought I failed to realize the Kitsune whom had been so lovingly attentive to my carnal needs was turning around. The aforementioned train of thought and worries just as quickly became replaced as the Kitsune lowered herself, fitting her small opening upon my own arousal.

Unlike Sosoru and Kohei, this particular mating was faster, the small Kitsune dug her claws into my waist as her muzzle opened, tongue rolling out as my length reached her deepest regions quickly, her muscles moving along my length to accomplish their task to the fullest: getting the male's seed. I stole a glance at my guide and hostess, by comparison they seemed almost asleep, laying with their tails intertwined and facing away from each other, a tiny pink cylinder between them the only indication they had tied together.

I focused my attention back towards the young unnamed Kitsune whom had taken to servicing me. I could just see her eartips above the other Kitsune laying on my chest and stomach. I hadn't slept with a Kitsune before this, just like for a person finding their fetish for the first time, my orgasm was uncontrollable, I deposited my seed deep inside her clenching body. It seems she too was inexperienced as she gave a long, five second clench, then relaxed herself.

The makeshift Kitsune blanket, coupled with the cold outside and the unexpected events helped lull me back into a deep sleep. I'm not entirely sure how long Sosoru and Kohei's mating lasted, nor did I feel it was my place to ask on such a personal matter. The next day the sky had cleared and the rivers returned to normal. The Tengu had indeed won against the Tanuki as Kohei said. After a breakfast of rice and beans, as well as having all our equipment repaired and cleaned. We left down the south road for the next village. A subtly more energetic Kohei leading the way.
