Stargate Annihilation
Year: 2400 (What a way to start off the new century)
My name is Aaron Varus and I am the General of Earths flag ship the ‘Annihilator‘. My ship as far as we know is the largest ship in the universe and for that matter the largest ship thought of. My ship is 100 miles long, 10 miles wide, and 10 miles high; it's based off the Empires flag ship the ‘Executor' from star wars. This was done because of its immense power and influence. The ship has just about the same look and design except for the shield generators, that is kept inside the ship for obvious reasons and the bridge is more concealed to make it more difficult for an enemy vessel to shot the bridge or worse a Kamikaze attack.
I know what you're thinking, how did earth pull it off. Well it wasn't easy, but we had no choice, but to build it in space. I cost Earth everything we had and everyone that could work on it...did. After this bad boy was done though it had allot of...storage. We put 6 midsized battle ships inside, that left room for 500 midrange bombers, and 5,000 fighters. These fighters even have their own personal shields and if necessary we can arm a nuclear bomb to them. So when this ship is at full power there isn't much that can stop it.
Know your wondering why...why would Earth spend that much money and recourses on such an expensive ship. We didn't have a choice otherwise it would never have been approved. You see the universe is full of deadly races out there like the Gou'uld, Replicators, and the Ori. Everything was so peaceful until 2 years ago. One of our scout ships detected life on a planet not capable of sustaining much life, but it was thriving with life. Upon examining the planet they resembled the Re'tu a large bug like creature that is invisible to most people, but can show itself anytime it wants. Anyway they also resembled the replicators because they were part bug part machine. In fact they looked like ants and these ants walked upright just like us. Once the scout ship radioed back what he saw, his signal must have been picked up because the scout ship was shot down immediately.
After 1 month they came in the trillions...well probably more. They came with one purpose, to consume our worlds and they succeeded. Without the old SG-1 we just couldn't find anything that would destroy them all. We hit them with so many naquadria bombs that we couldn't make them fast enough and soon we were out, it didn't matter though they still kept coming like a plague. We used everything even biological weapons, but they had no effect. We even caused a few early supernovas, but it only delayed the inevitable.
In the end we decided that if earth ever had a chance we would have to leave. So we built this ship and some of the people that built the ship and other ships on board were allowed on, but we didn't have enough room for everyone. We stockpiled 1,000 naquadria bombs on board and left the rest for earth to use against the enemy and themselves. We all waited until they got to our solar system then we all got on board and left. Why did it have to happen to us...why? On the main ship we only had enough room for 2 million people, but with the extra ships and bombers we had enough for 3 million. It was a tight fit, but everyone was just happy to be alive. There's only people native to earth onboard the Annihilator, so hopefully that was for the best. With the help of the Asgard before they were committed mass suicide we were able to modify the engines significantly, but we also figured out how to transport our ships across the universe. It took allot of work, but we eventually were able to open a stable wormhole in our hyperspace windows, so the time it took to get to another galaxy was instantaneous compared to hundreds of thousands of years it would normally take. We had to connect the wormhole with the hyperspace window and eventually after much trial and error we did it. It was only tested once since we used it normally, but if it was done wrong the punishment would be instant death, we would be vaporized. It was the greatest discovery since the Stargate itself. With allot of work we were able to recreate what the Stargate was doing and retrofit the design to all of our ships including the Annihilator. Since we knew what was going to happen we took the Stargate with us, so we could gate to other worlds instead of landing on them.
If only it was as simple as uploading a virus into their computers, they had their jamming signals up 24/7, so we weren't going to be able to destroy them the way we did in the movie Independence Day. The weird thing is it looks like a massive transmission, an overload. The thing is though it's just one word, except when said so many times, our computers can't take it and overload to the point of exploding. We are forced to shut down communications with them completely, not that it would make a difference anyway. The word sent is what we call them formally since it sounds like a name ‘Argonians.'
The nice thing is that they use normal hyperdrive engines, since we destroyed everything on all of our planets we don't have to worry about them following us because they can't lock onto us once we go through, in fact neither can we. You're probably wondering why we haven't shared this technology with the others. Well after Earths great heroes died our relations with the Jaffa nation quickly crumbled because they continued to think we were trying to secretly destroy them. Eventually we cancelled our Alliance and said we would not be interfering with their affairs anymore. 100 years after the defeat of the Ori the Tok'ra seemed to vanish from existence, no one knows for sure what happened to them, but I always had the suspicion that the Jaffa had something to do with it.
Well I think that covers everything you should know. If anyone finds this know that whatever fate may have overcome my people know that we died free and didn't deserve whatever fate may have befallen us.
Generals Log: 10:39 A.M. 1/17/2401
*Sigh* ‘dam that was the most depressing thing I have ever had to write.' I get up off the computer and walk out of my quarters. I look at the man that is standing in front of my door and see that it's Spencer holding his electronic clipboard. At first glance this guy will take your breath away by his pure beauty, but flattery isn't something that's appropriate to him, so I only brought it up once, then he told me if I were to say that again that he would request for reassignment. I said sorry to the guy and that it was only a complement, but he just rolled his eyes at me.
He looks at me with concern "sir?"
I snap out of it "yes what is it Spencer."
His eyes are filled with worry "are you okay?"
I stumble with my words "wel...yes...yes I'm fine...what is it?"
Spencer's concerned glare faded and he dropped it "we have reached the farthest our computers have recorded. We dropped out of hyperspace to let the computer chart more territory. About 10 minutes ago we got something to show up on the long range sensors that I think will interest you." He hands the clipboard to me. "We can be there in just a few seconds sir."
I take it with a cautious expression and look at what's on it. It shows a stable planet, a planet that can sustain human life. ‘It's been a year since we left Earth and we have found nothing, but rock, ruined civilizations, and enemies. All of which didn't dare attack us because of our obvious military superiority. We left before any of them could amass a large fleet. Unfortunately the scans won't pick up any life signs on the planet until we get to their solar system.' "Chart a course for the planet immediately."
Spencer nods and smiles "yes sir." We walk off to a transporter and he radios my orders ahead as we go into one of the transporters and are beamed to the bridge.
We walk out of the transporter and as Spencer takes his seat to my right I take my seat in the middle.
Stacy looks over to me "we have arrived...sir I'm picking up 21 ships..." She looks over at me "there fighting, it's 15 against 6."
I look at the battle through the view point on the bridge "whose cause is more noble?"
Stacy eyes widen in surprise "sir?"
I look at her again "is there any radio chatter?"
She looks back at her screen "yes, but I can't translate it."
I walk over and tell her to move for a moment and she does. I type something into the computer "this is something I wasn't supposed to show you unless I had to." I click on the translator icon hidden in my personal files and feed what is being said into the translator and broadcast it all throughout the ship.
From the 15 ships "...we will not tolerate your race anymore, you have done nothing, but pollute our kind with your interbreeding, it's disgusting."
The 6 bigger, but out gunned ships "we will not surrender to those who do not understand the meaning of freedom. We will never be your slaves."
I cut out the rest and look out at the 6 ships that will lose unless we do something. "Bring our main laser cannons online." We visited the Tollan home world shortly after we destroyed the Ori and actually found a few Ion cannons that were still intact, so we brought them back and adapted them to Asgard technology and used them as a defense for Earth and our ships. I look at those ships as anger builds up inside me "charge to 30% power and target the 15 ships and once the cannons are ready fire at will until there's nothing left of those bastards."
Stacy nods, targets the ships, and charges weapons. A few seconds later "sir were being hailed by the enemy."
I nod to her and get up out of my chair as the image of some fish faced person appears. We gasp as we see him and he does the same. I don't even so much as flinch as I look straight into it's eyes with a malicious intent "everyone has the right and freedom to choose who every they please as a mate, you have NO RIGHT to take that chose away from them. You will die and will have no chose in the matter."
The fish face looks at me oddly then at his screen and then looks at me. Subtitles appear as he watches me. The subtitles say "then this will not be the last time we meet because I assure you the Tashlon Empire will not tolerate this and even though you have a massive ship you will not defeat us."
I grin evilly "then you don't have any clue just how tenacious our people are when it comes to getting what we want. We don't always play fair and we will win at all costs if necessary, so tell that to your emperor, tell him he's next."
Fish face narrows his eyes "we shall see."
The transmission ends. I look over at Spencer "get rid of those ships now."
Stacy looks over at me with worry written all over her face. "Sir all 15 ships are changing course...there heading straight for us...there on a collision course."
I raise a brow ‘wow I didn't think they were that smart, but they will never make it in time, but that should be enough to knock out our shields.' "Raise power to 50% and fire at will."
Spencer nods and increases the power and fires all, but the main laser gun at the 15 ships. The 15 ships open fire on us as soon as they change course. There shields can't hold up to the increased power and they lose their shields and the laser canons destroys the ships in just 2 bursts.
I look over at Stacy "Open up all channels."
Stacy clicks something then says "ready sir."
I press the talk button on the communication relay device. "This is General Aaron Varus of the Earth vessel the ‘Annihilator'. I know our ship must be intimidating and no doubt you saw the amazing power of our ship, but we mean you no harm, in fact we did it for you. We can see from our view point that you have stable life supporting planet. Look you don't have any reason to trust us, but our galaxy was overrun by a race of deadly creatures that are part ant part machine, they walk upright like us and their jamming message is what we have come to know them as. The jamming message says Argonians and that is what we call them formally. They came in the trillions to do only one thing and that was to consume, they came to consume our worlds and devour us. We had no choice, but to leave, so we built the biggest ship we could in the time we had and left our home world just before it was destroyed. I beg you to at least talk to us; we have nowhere else to go and just want to start a new life somewhere. Please help us, if you do then we will protect this planet with everything we got, there are more ships aboard, many more and we will use them to help you if you help us." I let go of the button and lower my head hoping for the best. "We will wait for a day and if they still haven't contacted us in any way we will move on."
12 hours later
Stacy looks at me as I am intently staring at the planet "sir their hailing us from the biggest ship?"
I look at her very surprised that they are responding to us "open it up."
Stacy flips some switches.
I stand and a live video link of an anthropomorphic gray colored wolf, grey lizard, and white tiger appears on screen. I and my crew gasp in shock and cover our mouths for what we are witnessing.
The wolf, lizard, and tiger have a similar reaction to seeing our faces. The wolf being in the middle and presumably the leader speaks first "I...it too...k us a long time to translate and understand your language, but we did it and fused the information our translators learned into our brains and that of our people. We heard what you said and promised, we would like to arrange a meeting to discuss and study your bodies."
I narrow my eyes and walk closer to the screen "we will not come down there to be tested on."
The wolf is taken aback by what I said "I did not mean experimentation, I merely meant that you and your commanders come down and give some of your blood for testing."
I relax and walk back to where I was "I will agree with this, but we want a sample of your races blood and if I don't check in within a day, we will unleash our most powerful weapon on you. It's called the naquadria bomb; it's an enhanced nuclear warhead capable of taking out a good chunk of your planet. It would only take about 10 or 20 to destroy your world and we have allot more where that came from, so there will be no treachery involved...is that understood?"
The wolf bows in respect, but it is easy to tell that he does not like what I have said and for that matter bowing to me. "Understood now how do you want to go about doing this?"
"Do you have a Stargate?"
They all look at me completely puzzled, but the wolf is first to speak "Star...gate?"
I cringe ‘shit I was hoping that wouldn't happen' "umm...Chapai" he still looks confused "uhh...ring of the gods...you know big round thing that you travel to other planets with?"
He nods understanding me "oh the Rings, yes you may use ours, let me send you our gate address and you may come down. We will have everything ready and blocked off for you when you arrive."
I look at him concerned "blocked off?'
He looks back at me and says "yes the star...gate as you call it is public knowledge to all, it's put up in the town square and that is what we use to go to other worlds as well as using ships."
I nod "Okay...I, my advisor Spencer, and my personal guard of 10 will be coming down in an hour."
He nods "see you there." The transmission ends and I look back at the crew. "Let's hope they honor their end of the deal, however, if they don't I want you to throw a nuke down there and get the fuck out of here okay, I don't want them to have any time to come up with or use any strategy they may have planed or are planning...understood."
Everyone nods "yes sir."
I nod back and smile "good."
I get Spencer and round up my personal guard and by the time were all dressed and ready our hour is just about up. We head for the Stargate and once we are in position the coordinates are entered and the Stargate is activated. Once the wormhole is established we are given the okay to go ahead. We go through the gate and are met with a large army blocking off the streets and creating a path toward an odd vehicle. There is a crowd of wolves, tigers, and lizards mixed and they scream once as we appear from the gate. I yell "halt" to my men and form a hardened look on my face for dramatic effect as I look at everyone around us. ‘Wow this is incredible, never in all my dreams have I seen something this incredible. A society of anthropomorphic beings and there similar to the animals seen on Earth. The really weird thing is that they are complete opposites that rarely ever crossed paths on Earth.' I order everyone forward and we all start walking toward the odd vehicle, me and Spencer are in our traditional uniforms and my personal guard is in there death mask uniforms identical to the ones used by the Asgard in the Pegasus galaxy.
‘This is incredible, the weird thing is though they have gone completely quite and haven't said a word since we arrived, that is odd, but they aren't human, so anything is to be expected.' Once were all there the door is open and the same wolf I saw before gestures all of us to come into the large vehicle.
After were all in, the vehicle starts to drive off, the wolf speaks first. "Hello I'm ambassador Risha and these are ambassadors Sifer the white tiger and Sep'tet the lizard. We are the dominating races that occupy this planet and are working together to destroy the fish faced people. We saw what you did and would like to offer whatever you ask for in return, within reason of course, for your support" He looks at me more intently now waiting for an answer.
I look at him sternly and with a firm voice "yes we will help you and will gladly fend off any of your enemies. The only thing we ask for is that you give us a place to live on your world and we will help you. Just as long if they aren't any Argonians around.
The others look at each other then nod to the Risha. Risha looks at me with a hesitant gaze then says with a sigh "we know all about the Argonians" he looks back at the others and the other 2 nod their heads telling him to keep going, he looks back at me "around 1,000 years ago we detected the Argonians approach and through all of the nuclear bombs we had at them, at the time that was about 10,000 nuclear bombs. We had had recently figured out how to build and manufacture the nuclear bomb only 100 years before they arrived. We were going to originally use it against our enemies, the weapons had never been tested, no one wanted to test the explosion on their countries soil. When we saw all those ships we tried to contact them and say we would defend ourselves, but the only response was that one word said over and over very rapidly. It was said so loud that our radios couldn't take it and blew. After that message we sent them a message that we thought was clear enough. We shoot a nuclear bomb and detonated it far enough away from their fleet, but close enough to show them we had power. They just kept coming and we had no way of getting off the planet because we weren't that far ahead in technology yet. We still couldn't see the end of their fleet as they got closer so we started launching nukes like crazy then after awhile other countries started to realize if they didn't do something that we weren't gonna make it. Many countries had the ability to launch nukes into space and hit targets, but us and our greatest rival were the only ones who had the ability to make nukes so we freely shared them to other countries around us as fast as we could. Eventually we had all of the countries that could fire nukes at the enemy firing away. Many were destroyed before they hit their targets by the enemy itself, but there were quite a few who did hit their target and destroy everything around them. It was a beautiful site when that happened, but in the end we were only slowing the inevitable. They just got, so close that is wasn't safe to fire nukes, but for the missile launch sites still active, they were still firing away until they were out. The enemy could be seen approaching our cities and there would be this huge explosion hit the ship and destroy it, but unfortunately have the pieces of the ship land on the cities and it would also rain down radiation from the fallout. We did have a plan though. Only the Wolfgard which would be one of the most powerful countries at the time had secretly made bunkers to defend against such attacks and were impossible to find or get into unless you knew what you were doing. Millions got to these bunkers, but for those who didn't died. When the enemy launched their ground assault the radiation left no survivors and those still left fought the elements as they slowly and very painfully died from radiation poisoning. They eventually left our planet not caring for it anymore probably due to the radiation. We had to stay in those bunkers for a year until the dust and radiation had settled, but even after that we had to avoid those areas that were filled with radiation like all the ground zeros. Unfortunately much of our water supply was poisoned, so we had no choice, but to get water from the rivers and streams that weren't near any of the action."
We arrive at the destination and as the door is opened, I look at him, and am glad that the same is happening to our worlds, especially Earth. I and my men get out of the vehicle then the ambassadors and we walk up to what looks like a government building. Once inside we are escorted to a large room where a large jet black wolf and many other wolves with weapons are standing right beside and around him.
The black wolf hesitates when looking at me as though I were a ghost then steps forward with a smile "hello I am the leader of this world. My name is Nareaus and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am sorry for this, but we have a problem we would like you to help with since you said you would defend this world if you could live here. At first we thought they were a nice race of people, but they deceived us and are taking control of our worlds at an alarming rate. There flag ship is nowhere near the size of yours, in fact ours is bigger. What they have that's so effective against us is a new shield. It is just too powerful for most of our ships to go up against; in fact the only ship that has any success is our flag ship. Do you have anything that could help us?"
I smirk "400 years ago one of our people stumbled across an ancient device that we thought allowed us to communicate across galaxies, but it was a little more than that. You see this device transported their conscience and life signs, so if you died over there you died here too ending your life. 2 people were connected to that device and they barely made it back before being burned alive. Before they came back however the race they were communicating with figured out that they were apart of another galaxy full of unbelievers. These people were called the Ori and the sent priors to preach their beliefs and if those people didn't accept their religion all the inhabitants would be put to death. Eventually we were able to defeat many of the prior's plagues they left behind, so the Ori built many ships and trained thousands of soldiers to fight in their name and to kill all those who didn't accept Origin. Anyway there ships had advanced shields to, but with the help of the Asgard before they committed mass suicide. We were able to acquire a weapon of great power that destroyed their shields and ships. It was a high intensity laser beam. We have 11 on my ship and the biggest one is 100 times bigger than the one used to destroy the last Ori ship."
Everyone that isn't human stares at us like were ghosts. "Then will you help us they will be here within 1 hour?"
My eyes widen as those last 2 words slip from his mouth. "1 HOUR", *sigh* "how many are coming?"
He looks at me nervously "20 ships plus 500 fighters and 50 bombers."
I look at him shocked "There's no way your ships could survive that there not even close to the size of mine. Why don't you just leave?"
He raises his head in respect of himself "because we don't leave what is ours behind."
I narrow my eyes "let's get one thing straight, we left because there was no hope and I'm sure you can agree with me on that one. But if you're calling us dishonorable because we didn't stand and fight senselessly to our deaths then you wrong because for one you wouldn't have us here to save your asses and two I would never dare try to make myself look stronger in front of a race if it meant jeopardizing our existence especially if you don't even know who they are and...how they will react to it, so if I were you I would be glad that we came here offering to save your sorry asses in exchange for anything."
Nareaus bows to me and everyone else, but his men gasp "I apologies for acting so stubborn, we ask for your help, will you assist us or not."
I nod "yes we will now prepare your ships while I go back up to my ship and show you what a true armada looks like."
Well what do you think was that any good, I tried my best to incorporate the Stargate in there as much as I could, but it still feels like much of my story rather than Stargate, but I guess that's a good thng.
