And, here is some more. Not proof read, and not happy with it. I should just start cut pasting that into all of my openings by now... *Sighs* Anyway, enjoy!

Gray and Valkyrie â€" Chapter Six â€" Water Type

San: I will never give up. No matter what.

Gray set his jaw, claws digging furrows into the earth as the dragon heaved against the great stone. Work on repairing the dormitories had started as early as usual, the guardian volunteering his services aside Yuri. Sweat glistened against his scales as he worked, pushing against the heavy stones of the collapsed building, slowly beginning to shift a block the size of a small house. From the corners of his eyes, he could see white and azure, San and Valkyrie at each of his sides, the wyverns setting their shoulders against it alongside him. Finally, with a last push, the stone broke free, clearing the platform as the few workers watching cheered. "Da Zhuang." A voice he recognised as Yuri's, the girl casually pushing a stone of equivalent size with a single arm, Gray's Dracite pendant glowing a soft white beneath her scarf.

The crowd parted, watching in amazement as she threw her stone down beside theirs, yawning and stretching before sparing the creature a cheeky wink. Gray rolled his eyes, "Show off..." He had to admit though, augmented by the crystal, the light users strength technique was indeed a force to be reckoned with. Glancing around, he couldn't help but hold some awe of the enormity of her past notion, holding up a barrier beneath all of this with her own power alone when they had been buried. "She really is amazing though..." Valkyrie snorted and looked away.

Gray exhaled slowly, lying back on top of one of the stones they had shifted, relaxing and soaking up the sun after a morning of hard labour. He could see the wyverns taking a drink down by the lake, the guardians having found some excuse to have a party as food and drink was passed around. He chuckled, watching a fire user attempt to cook some meat, accidentally incinerating it with his Li technique. Gray smiled, staring up into a peaceful blue sky, his grin fading as Erin landed beside him, casting a shadow over the dragon. "What's up, Erin?"

"We've got some new orders... We're to be ready to ship out within the hour." He sighed, seemingly put down by the large workload. After a few moments though, he began to chuckle, breaking out into laughter as the silver-grey beast stared with confusion, "San too? You're building a right little harem..."

"Damn it, Erin... Ge!" He blushed, returning to human form and crossing his legs, looking up at his chortling comrade, "How did you know?"

"Lake Types can... I guess you could say, ‘see' truth. There are no secrets from us." He flicked his scarf, dropping down beside the man. Erin suddenly looked quite serious, "We've been persecuted for a long time because of it. Understandably, people don't like the idea of having their minds casually read."

A winged shadow passed overhead, the accompanying breeze from the wyvern's flight ruffling the long hair of both men. Cain dropped down in a method similar to that which Erin used, his golden wyvern, Gig, circling above before descending to drink with the others. "You wanted to see me Erin?"

"Yes." He inclined his head, "Now all that we need is... Ah, here she is."

"Holding a meeting without me? How impolite." Yuri pulled herself up onto the stone, pressing the pendant back into Gray's hands, "Thanks for lending it to me. That thing is a lot of fun." She chuckled, "So, what's going on?"

Erin cleared his throat, "Between us and the Rowen Mountains, there's a string of fortresses... We passed over one of them on our last patrol, remember?" Gray clearly didn't, yet Yuri nodded as usual, "The four of us are going to be part of the defences... We're holding up at the base of an inactive volcano some distance away from here." He reached into a satchel, pulling out a map which he spread between them, "Here." He pointed, "We're only engaging a minor force. Their other units will be held up further west... Here and here." The man prodded adjacent crosses in the line.

"What can we expect them to have?" Cain asked.

"They're moving slowly... Still a day away, at least â€" But it will most likely be Remnants, Wyverns and Guardians."

The earth user's eyes widened suddenly in realisation, fixated on the marking which indicated their destination, "The captain of that base is it..." He set his jaw, "Brent Lycos?"

"It is." Erin folded the map away, "You know him?"

Cain was notably pale, drawing stares from Yuri and Gray, "We have a little history."

"I've met him a few times myself... He's a dedicated man, especially when it comes to killing Remnants." The lake user sighed, jumping from the stone and beginning to walk back towards the main fortress, "We'll meet back up here within the hour... Make what preparations you must."

Yuri smiled, breaking Cain's stupor somewhat, "Thanks again for helping me out earlier... I appreciate it." She jumped, running to catch up to Erin.

Gray yawned and lay back once more, "Should I ask?"

"She had me use my healing technique to break her hangover..." The doctor hung his head, "Damn girl probably would have died if she wasn't a wolf."

*****

Gray yawned, lying back on Valkyrie as he simply watched the clouds go by. Much to her displeasure, it wasn't uncommon for him to fall asleep on her as they flew, the subtle metronome of her wing beats and a pleasant breeze in the heat always having a somewhat hypnotising effect on the man. They had been flying for quite a number of hours, the sun having long since begun its descent into the afternoon. He grunted as a small pebble dropped onto his chest, a shadow drawing nearby as Cain attempted to rouse him. He blinked wearily as the earth type threw another stone, waving it away before pulling himself into a sitting position and looking around. The land below was a rich dark brown, volcanic soil in abundance, overflowing with greenery leading up to the great mountain itself. The thing loomed ominously over the scene, a large fortress of grey stone nestled against its side. A wide river ran past, split by man, the blue of its water irrigating the systems of crops. The four wyverns commenced their descent, the ground slowly drawing closer as the buildings appearance sharpened. A courtyard was their mark, several wyverns and guardians already resting in the shade, their group dropping into a central platform. Gray yawned once again, dropping to the ground, "So, this is Vitreo Fortress?"

Erin dismounted to his side, stroking Sakura's neck in thanks before the pink wyvern took off. "It is." He chuckled, "Surprisingly, the medical staff are quite famous here. The place has almost always been used as a field hospital..." His expression faded slightly at their lack of interest, "I'll save the history lesson for later."

Yuri and Cain jumped down, their wyverns taking off alongside Valkyrie towards the river. "CAIN!" A voice boomed from the darkness of the main entranceway, several men striding forth, a large black furred wolf dwarfing the group of guardians. "You've got a lot of nerve..."

Yuri froze, eyes wide as Cain closed his eyes, "Here we go..."

He opened them to stare at the wolfs feet, the creature wearing nothing but a blue scarf. "You..." His hand curled around the earth users shirt, lifting him from the ground as his companions took a step back, "Bastard!" He drew back and punched the man, sending him flying several feet.

"Hey!" Gray took a step forwards, flames spreading along his arm as he copied a posture that Dran had taught him. He froze as Erin tugged on his scarf, the lake type pulling him back and stepping forwards in his place as the wolf raised his foot to kick the downed man.

"Lin." Erin seemed to just disappear, his movement so rapid that the naked eye simply couldn't keep up, "Kui." He caught the leg, barely seeming to struggle at all against the wolfs strength as he moved himself between them, "If you have any problems with my team, Captain Lycos, you'd best take them up with me."

"Erin..." Cain coughed, "It's alright..."

"What?" He released the wolf, letting the male take a step back.

"Let him beat me until he's satisfied."

"Hmph..." Brent pushed past Erin, lifting the man by his clothes once more, "I see you've not forgotten our ways." His fist thudded into the man's chest, blood dribbling down his chin as the impact forced him to expel it. "I entrusted her to you... And because of that..." He bit back the remainder of his speech, dropping the earth user and turning away, "We'll settle this later... Get to the infirmary. You know what to do."

"Bastard..." Gray ground his teeth together as the wolf retreated, "What the hell was that for!?" The creature ignored him, disappearing beyond the gate. "Are you alright?" He dropped to his knees, helping prop Cain up.

"I deserve it... Jian." The earth user placed his hand over his chest, his palm glowing golden as he began to heal himself, "His sister... Was Sasha." He winced as Gray nodded in realisation, "She disappeared in the mountains while fighting alongside me. More than my friend... My mate." He pulled himself to his feet, the glow of his restoration technique fading away, "He never forgave me for not being able to protect her."

"You should have told us that you were expecting a welcome like this..." Erin sighed, propping the man between himself and Gray as they progressed, "Come on, Yuri." She blinked a few times, shaking her head before tailing them. "Wolves are very protective of their own... Even if he's a guardian, I'm surprised he hasn't killed you."

Cain directed them through the doors, "She's still alive. But now part of the enemy... He probably wants my binding skills to help capture her." He smiled grimly, "That's when he'll kill me." He waved off Gray's exclamation, staggering forward to lead them through the fortress' interior. The space opened into a wide foyer, the man pointing to a corridor to the right, "This way."

Gray looked up. Water was flowing through the building, bubbling up from a central spring right in the centre of the foyer, directed by thin troughs of stone along their path and out of sight. What caught his attention was suspended right above the central spring, "Is that...?" He pointed at a small shard of crystal.

"Dracite. A single precious sample." Erin steered him onwards, "There's an array beneath that spring set up by a water type to generate healing properties... The crystal enhances the effect and..." He scratched a furrow into his arm, dipping it into the liquid as they came past. The cut restored almost immediately, "Healing water."

"So, what did you think? Ge." Gray transformed to his hybrid form, the dragon diving onto the bed and rolling over as Yuri went wolf behind him. He settled down, staring around. The room was small and plain, just a large bed and a few chairs, surrounded by stone and covered by a small white rug. A mirror flashed their images from the corner. It reminded him of the collapsed dormitories a little bit too much, "That Brent guy... He's the first one of your kind you've ever met, right? I thought you'd be more enthusiastic."

Yuri sighed sadly, evading the bed and instead dropping onto one of the chairs, "Looking at him..." Her eyes closed for a second, an image of the great black wolf flashing past them, "I can't help but feel weak."

Gray raised an eyebrow, "Well, he was a little large..."

"I don't mean that." She covered her face with her hands, "All of the people here... They all like him. They all respect him even though he's a wolf." It was clear that she was crying, "He doesn't hide what he is. He walks around proudly."

"Yuri..." He definatly wasn't expecting this.

"I'm so afraid of being ridiculed that I wonder about pretending to be a human, yet he..." Gray pulled himself from the bed, drawing closer and folding his arms about the brown wolf as she sobbed into his chest, "I feel like a coward."

"You're not weak..." The dragon smiled, "And you're no coward either..." He chuckled, "If you really want to make a change, then tomorrow, go out there as you are. Prove that you're strong. It's that easy."

She was quiet for a long time, holding onto the dragon until finally, "You're such a simpleton, Gray."

"I just see things in black and white, that's all." He chuckled, "Cheer up, Yuri."

She smiled, "You're right... I'm done hiding." The dragon licked her tears away. "Gray?"

"Hmmm?"

"Can you do something for me?" She drew close and whispered in his ear.

-

"Okay... You can open your eyes now." Yuri blinked as his blinding technique wore off, staring down to the foot of the bed to see a large misshaped sheet. Her sketchpad was lying on the floor, the wolf folding it shut before placing it to one side. Gray's voice came from beneath the material, "This is really embarrassing..." He shrugged it off. "How did I do?"

A grey wolf reared at a solid eight feet tall, as broad shouldered and muscular as the captain. He adjusted his crimson scarf nervously, eyes of an identical colour catching her browns. The hybrid scratched at his silver-grey fur nervously, a blush clear against the shade. "You did good." She shuffled to the beds end, standing beside the creature, even her frame dwarfed against his. Six feet just didn't compare.

"Are you sure?" He sat down, "It feels really strange... I'm surprised you don't suffocate under all of this fur." He rolled his shoulder, testing the motion, "It's really hot too."

Yuri stood, moving to the side and lining him up between herself and the bed. With a single pounce he was pinned down, "Yeah... It is hot." She kissed her first wolf, even if he was dragon by nature, for one night, she would have one of her own species. Gray stiffened for a moment before instinct kicked in, still completely un-used to such a body, he utilised his new muzzle.

The brown wolf pulled back, smiling to herself as fingers ran through his fur, marking a playful course before squeezing lustily at his crotch. She dropped to the ground, kneeling as her tongue teased a crimson tip from his sheath. Yuri grinned, remembering the image she had him copy. Gray had indeed got it right, all the way to the knot, which she now toyed with. The larger wolf growled under his breath, surprising himself with the sound as lips closed about the tip of his cock, dexterous fingers stroking at the shaft. Yuri had defiantly learned from their past encounters, bobbing her head with a skill that rivalled Valkyrie's, hands moving to rest on his thighs as she set to her task. Gray held his breath, already close from her skilful motions, his knot swelling slightly as her lips descended to brush about it. Yuri drew herself up slightly, gauging his length before attempting to deep throat the wolf. She almost choked as Gray came into her muzzle with no warning at all, pulling back, coughing and spluttering as she struggled desperately to swallow his load. For some reason, it always tasted so sweet. A sound became audible, thud, thud, thud, Yuri looking up and licking her lips before bursting into a fit of laughter.

Gray was staring up at the ceiling, his tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth in a post orgasmic daze. The silver-grey wolf's tail wagged furiously behind him, drawing a light thudding noise each time it impacted the bed, "What?" He turned around, following her gaze before clasping his hands about his tail, pinning it down, "Shit! It won't stop."

Yuri's roar of laughter faded into a chuckle, "You'll get used to resisting it..." She jumped up next to him, lying back and spreading her legs, reaching down to part her lips as she caught his eyes, "One hundred points if you can make me do it too." She challenged.

A glint appeared in Gray's eye, the wolf grinning as she threw the gauntlet, "You asked for it..." The fur of her thighs were already matted with her fluids, more drawn forth as her fingers were replaced by his tongue, the wolf parting her folds with a single long lick. He began to lap away playfully, drawing out the motion as he mimed a dog drinking from a bowl of water, ending the act as Yuri gave an impatient growl. In this form, his tongue was indeed broader, less dexterous, but far more textured, his motions brushing against her clit forcing the brown wolf to whimper as he pleasured her. Gray drew up his hand, the wolf prying her open as he inserted a single finger, feeling the other wolf instinctively buck her hips slightly as he began to pump it in and out. He nuzzled, "Val always liked this..." He withdrew his finger, surprising Yuri into orgasm as he slipped the slick thing into her tail hole. He smiled in triumph, face covered in her fluids as he heard the thudding of her tail behind her.

Yuri seemed to have forgotten their little game, grabbing him by his scarf and pulling him close with strength entirely disproportionate to her form. She almost lifted him from the ground as she kissed him once again, the wolf's arms closing about her. Gray reached downwards, feeling her wetness brushing against his leg as she ground her hips into him, the grey toying with sensitive breasts. Yuri didn't let him continue for long, dropping from his grasp, crawling onto the rug before sticking her ass up into the air, tail waving. "Fuck me." She commanded.

Gray didn't exactly need telling, the doggystyle she was suggesting more than appropriate for what they had become. He dropped to his knees, reaching down, the pointed tip of his dick brushing against her, sliding into heaven as he pushed forwards. The grey took hold of her hips, giving in to his instincts as he set up the rapid pace of a canine, Yuri gasping out at the base of each thrust. "Fuck..." She reached up, grabbing a swaying breast as he continued to pound her, trying to keep her balance on the sliding carpet, the wolf biting down on her neck for support. "Fuck me..." Gray felt her quiver beneath him, taking pride in each orgasm he caused as his draconic stamina allowed him to keep up his rapid thrusting. Her fluids were easing his motion, matting their fur, running up the brown wolf's body and dripping to the ground. His knot began to swell, stretching her wide at the base of every thrust, her hips jolting to meet his every time they ground together. "Tie with me, Gray... Ah, fuck!" She cried out in pain and pleasure as the bulb finally forced entry, an orgasm unlike any other roaring through her body.

Gray wasn't finished, now trapped, all he could do was gyrate his hips, making small rapid movements as her insides gripped him hard. He didn't last much longer, cumming deep inside the other wolf, biting harder in dominance as he filled his bitch. A little time passed, Yuri attempting to catch her breath before arms curled around her, Gray lifting the smaller wolf from the ground and staggering back to sit on the beds corner. Looking over her shoulder, he could see their reflection, fur matted with sweat and cum, legs spread, puffed up lips sealed around his dick. He twisted his arms about her legs, pulling Yuri up slightly to no avail before dropping her back down, his balls slapping against her opening as a small amount of cum leaked from her. She could feel it all inside, the sensation of being so full as his knot sealed it all within. He still didn't seem to be done though, letting her watch herself sliding limitedly up and down, fingers she recognised as her own toying with her clit as Gray set up pace once more.

Hours later, and a few more orgasms, the pair finally fell back onto the bed. Yuri gasped as his knot slipped from her abused cunt, a veritable flood of cum leaking from it to cover her thighs. "I'm sore..." She whined, "But I'm satisfied."

Gray yawned, lying back as he retreated within his sheath, "The change... Best technique ever."

Yuri rolled over, curling up against the large wolf as he pulled a sheet over them, "Actually, the best technique ever belongs to Dark Types... The pleasure." She chuckled, "Nothing says hello quite like a spontaneous orgasm."

Gray raised an eyebrow, "No way... There can't be a technique like that, right?" He rolled his eyes in amusement as she nodded. It was indeed true.

"Hey, Gray..." He glanced up, that tone never usually accompanying anything good, "Do you ever worry about things? Like, what if you got one of us pregnant?"

The wolf sighed, "Change gives me complete control of my biology... Or that's what the textbook says. I just do it on instinct." He brought a hand up to his face, staring into the furred palm, "I make sure, that when I change, my cum can't... It can't... Well, you know." He blushed slightly, "If I concentrated hard enough, I could probably make it taste like strawberries."

*****

Erin yawned, leaning back in his chair as he watched the earth type work. A large group of guardians had piled into the infirmary, Cain assisting the staff in dealing with the injured of the patrol unit. He dropped their report to one side, pulling himself to his feet as he strode over to stand beside the man. "Jian." His palm glowed a soft golden, cupping within a small basin of water, tipping the fluid along a slash wound across the chest of one of them. The difference of just one application was noticeable, the Dracite enhanced healing water further augmented by the regenerative skill of the earth user.

"You're certainly familiar with the resources here..." Erin began cutting up some bandages.

"I used to be stationed here, before..." He sighed, lowering his gaze as the captain walked past. The entire patrol unit inclined their heads in respect.

"They're definitely very loyal." Erin drew closer, placing the fabric into his hands, "Do you really intend to let him kill you once this is over?"

"I'm disgraced. It's their way."

"You're a human, not a wolf." The lake user grit his teeth, "Why are you going along with things? Are you in that much of a hurry to die?"

Cain finished his work, drawing up to face Erin eye to eye, "When I took Sasha as a mate... There were trials. For both of us. Because I'm human." He stared into the eyes of his superior, "I am bound by their laws. I chose this path for her sake."

"I was speaking to Captain Lycos earlier about what happened... She's a free spirit, right?" The man lowered his gaze, "I don't know much about wolf law, but being what I am, I do know a lot about people. I don't think she'll let you die." Erin grimaced, "And you don't think so either."

Cain gave a sly smile, "Bingo."

The lake type chuckled to himself for a few moments, "Sorry for intruding, but you know how my skill works... You suspect the same thing I do, don't you?"

The guardian set his jaw, "Yeah..." He began to bandage up the next patient, "Nobody else is capable of using that technique on such a wide scale. Not even you."

Erin looked serious, "I think so too... That it's him." He glanced away, "The only other Lake Type. The commander."

"What are we going to do?"
