#8 of Star Fox: The unexpected mission

READ THE NOTE FIRST! It's an important notice!

Hello hello everyone! Sorry it took so long to update, but sadly, it happens to the best of us. I hit a bit of writers block as I got deeper into my story. But a good dosage of games, and being with an awesome GF will kick that block right out of the door. I will also make a side note that I am starting College on the 2nd of September, which is very close from now. So expect my installations to be a delayed due to preparation, and later on, the school work. Even if I don't install you guys a new chapter for a while, do not fret. I will come online now and then, to give a status report and blah blah blah. I wouldn't want you all to start killing me in your minds..(A lot of peeps will start thinking the author is dead) Anyway, enough of that, here's the next installment to Star Fox! A side note, I am aware that the Dinosaur Planet is known as Sauria. But they did not reveal that name until Star Fox Assault...and since this is taking place before he even met Krystal..well you get the picture.

Chapter 8: Tales of the Reptile ones.

====================================

0~Recap~0

In our last installment, Fox had a crazy encounter with a celebrity model named Empress, who turned out to be a master of telekinesis. With absolutely no options, and zero chances of getting out, he's left with no choice but to obey her commands. After a night of degrading torture and pleasure, Fox completed his mission with success, and is at his home to learn about the Sharp Claw. What does Kei have in store for Fox? We will find out soon enough.

====================================

"Alright Fox...you did well on getting my GSP back, so now I shall hold my end of our deal." Kei sat down across from Fox, with his paws folded, and his head slightly leaning into them. "What I am about to tell you...is classified information. You cannot tell a soul about this..understand? Information like this is like gold. You'll give away free gold if you simply tell anyone about it..so don't. Got it?" Kei had a grave expression as he explained, much different from his happy go lucky personality.

"As an ex-captain of the Star Fox team, you have my word." Fox replied with his hand over his chest, to salute the young raccoon.

"Good...now then." Kei reached into the pockets of his black pants, and pulled out a flat piece of metal that was shaped like a hexagon. With the push of a switch, the object begin to project images of various members of the sharp claw. The Sharp Claw looked like yellow greenish Allosauruses, with battle armor that was similar to the roman ages. These members also wielded various weapons like swords, axes, spears, morning stars, and any other melee ranged weapon you could think of. It also showed their air ships, which looked similar to large sized pirate ships, cannons and all. Kei paused the device when it stopped on a planet that looked similar to Coneria.

"This, is Dinosaur planet. A similar planet like Coneria, only this planet has no type of artificial activities what so ever. The only thing that could be considered artificial, is the ruins, and some of the stuff the tribes may use...but that's it." Kei explained. "The planet is ruled by three tribes. Two who live in harmony with each other, while the other is fending for themselves, and tries to over throw the two other tribes. If you're wondering who they are, it's the EarthWalker, and the CloudRunner tribes. Of course...you've already figured out the last one is the Sharp Claw tribe." Kei then switched the pictures to show what the other two tribes looked liked. The EarthWalkers look a lot like a Triceratops, while the CloudRunners looked like a Pteranodon.

"But enough about that. You only asked for the Shap Claw, and that's all I'm telling you about." Kei stated, before he continued. "A lot of people say many things about the Sharp Claw. They say that they are trying to take over the universe. Others say that they are battle hard warriors. Some even question...why are there Sharp Claw members in space? Well...the answer is, they were expelled." Kei then paused the device again, when he reached a faint picture of the Sharp Claw's leader.

"He was in a pretty well guarded area...that's as close as I can to get to him. His name is supposed to be...General something. I know they always called him General but..enough of that. The whole point is, he's the original leader of the Sharp Claw that lives on the Dinosaur Planet." Kei explained.

"Wait a minute...original leader? You mean there is more than one?" Fox raised an eyebrow.

"Your sharp as ever, Fox." Kei answered. "There is indeed another leader. This other leader, he goes by the name "Scale King." He was the captain of the General's army, and did a pretty good job at leading them. He was exiled from the tribe for trying to over throw the General, and once this happened, he convinced several other troops to join him...he promised that he would take em to space, and explore the world. Take everything they will lay eyes on. And he did a really good job in keeping that promise." Kei then switched to a picture of the Scale King, and several other troops.

The Scale King, unlike most of the Sharp Claw, had his battle armor modified. Instead of wearing the roman armor, he had on armor that was pretty similar to Wolf's, minus the pants. His armored kilt was also remodeled with some strong alloy, and instead of using medieval based melee weapons, he used plasma ones. His troops has similar armor to his own, but they were less flashy unlike his. What sets the Scale King different from the rest, was that he had various battle scars all over his visible body parts. The picture then switched to his battle ship. Unlike the original Sharp Claw's ships, this one was well armored with steal, and plasma cannons, instead of a standard bomb cannon.

"Now...these group of Sharp Claw live their life as pirates. They go around, stealing, killing, destroying, and taking in prisoners, doing god knows what to them. The only time they take prisoners, is if they have a very good reason to. Like inner hatred, or their victims try to rebel. As long as you go by their rules, they wont ever take you in." Kei explained to them. "Right now, their next target, is going to be right here in Coneria. Honestly Fox, I do not know why you want to confront them. If you ask me, your about to sign your death sentence. I mean, they hate the ELDF with a passion...and seeing as how your an ex member, you could get into some serious trouble if you are not careful." Kei warned him.

"I'll be able to manage." Fox smirked at this reply. "When will they attack?"

"You really are dead set on going through with this....alright. The Sharp Claw's next attack will happen in five days from now. They will hit city hall, take whatever they want, and leave." Kei replied.

"One question I want to know...when they capture their victims, what do they do to them?" Fox asked.

"Well, I've been on their ship on more than one occasion to gather information...but the stuff they do to their prisoners are not pretty. If you want a nutshell on what they do, they violate their prisoners in any way possible. It does not matter what the gender is. To them, gender means nothing." Kei made that perfectly clear with the grave expression upon his face. "And they normally keep their prisoners until they have their fill of them, and finally lets them go...which approximately takes about a weeks worth."

"Do you have an idea where their location may be as of now?" Fox stood up from his seat.

"Yeah. They usually hide out somewhere in space, that is close to the location that they are about to hit. With stealth devices built into their ship, and electronic jammers, it is very hard to find them. Luckly, my own ship has been enhanced with jammer proof scanners a long time ago. So their location is as clear as a sunny day." Kei smiled with pride when he said this. "I can probably do the same thing for your Arwing too, but I'll need the parts for that. And those said parts do not come cheap."

"That's not a problem." Fox opened up the communicator on his arm, then he begins to imput a few commands. "How much do you need?"

"Wait..what?" Kei was a little bewildered by that question.

"How much do you need? And don't try to be slick and get a little extra on the side. These bankers keep full track of where my money is going." Fox warned him with a cold stare.

"Um....well...I'll need about...10,000 zen..." The raccoon hesitantly told him, poking his index fingers together.

Fox imputed a few commands, before he told him his instructions. "Go to the city bank, and pick it up. Tell them your name, they will know who you are. Then I want you to get the parts needed. Once you are back, I'll help you out with the installation process on the Arwing." Fox instructed. "Now move out. Dispite the fact that we have a lot of time, we cannot waist a minute."

"Yes sir!" Kei, being enthusiastic as ever, ran out of the house, and made his way towards town.

When Kei made it back with the parts that was needed for jammer proof scanners, he and Fox got right to work. It took them only about a few hours to install the new system into the Arwing, but the planning took an entire two days to figure out. They had to map out their strategies on how they will get on board the Sharp Claw's battle ship. Even though Fox is an ace pilot, taking on an entire crew of ships is far too reckless. So, their plan is to act as a ship on a delivery service, and lure the Sharp Claw in. Once they are taken inside of the ship's Hagar, they will do a full assault from that point on, and make their way to the boss's room, as easy as possible. Kei says that even though Sharp Claw are supposed to be a vicious bunch, they will know when someone is stronger than they are, and will not fight against them once they acknowledge their strength. With that being said, the two made preparations, and got ready for the operation.

On the fourth day before the Sharp Claw invasion, Fox has awoke with more than enough energy to carry out the plan. While Fox was taking a morning shower, his mind begins to wander, asking himself if this is really the best way to gain revenge. After all, he is leaving it to a bunch of pirates. Right when Fox's good conscience was about to kick in, and make him go through the phase where he may be confused with what he wants, flash backs of his horrible experience begins to come back and haunt him head on, like a cannon being fired at point blank, blasting away any, and every good conscience he had inside of him. And if they are still living, it's barely hanging on. Too weak to even make Fox reconsider his choice. Putting a hand on his head, Fox closed his eyes, and nodded once he came to an answer.

"Yeah....these two deserve it. Unless they feel..exactly how I feel, I will not be satisfied...so I must make them pay." With that conclusion, Fox finished washing himself up, and stepped out of the shower, shaking his fur until he was completely dry. He applied his white fur disguise, and a completely different outfit made for fighting. Instead of his normal wear, he has on a black T, with a blue short sleeved jacket over it. He also wore black pants, that was equipped with a gun holster, a spot for his reflector, and red plated boots was his choice. His hands are covered by black fingerless gloves, and to top off his look, he had on a red scarf around his neck, that covered his his muzzle. Once he equipped his communicator, he opens a link with his partner, Kei. The communicator screen flashed green letters that read: "Connecting...", until it was soon replaced by Kei's face.

"Hey Fox! Glad to see your up. I'm all prepared to carry out the operation as we planned." Kei informed him.

"Good. I'll meet you at the rendezvous point. Don't forget to bring your ship with you, since the Arwing is a one seater." Fox replied.

"Gotcha, I'm on my way. Breaking connection." With that, the screen faded into black, and Fox closed the communicator. He went to his garage where his Arwing was kept, and pulled out a matter transmitter, then he absorbed the Arwing inside of it, before leaving his house to meet up with Kei.

The meeting spot that Fox and Kei agreed on, was the same junk yard that Fox arrived on, when he first came to live on Coneria. When he made it to the junk yard, the area was still spacious the way it has always been. Good enough for two ships to sit in, and depart. His little moment of solitude didn't last long, when Kei joined with him soon after he arrived.

"Home sweet home...all my adventures started in this junk yard. It's like a secret haven to me now. Wow...like the new look too. It goes perfect with our whole pirate operation." Kei gave a thumbs up, and a bright smile, before he pulled out his matter transmitter. "Now, prepare to meet my ship, the Shinobi!" He activates his transmitter, and within seconds, a black fighter jet, with red highlights on the wings, and around the cockpit, has reappeared before them.

"Behold, my Shinobi...my own creation." Kei actually went to his ship, and hugged it's landing gear, before he begins to explain what it can do. "The Shinobi is not just a fighter jet with a fancy name. It lives up to it's abilities because of how well it can do in battle. It has a stealth ability, a jammer attack, rapid fire plasma guns, kaji bombs, and the coup de grace, two beam blades attached to the sides for melee combat. Plus, it's design, and thrusters allows me to fly at high speeds, making it really hard for them to catch me." Kei smiles brightly while he admires his creation.

"Wow. No wonder you get information the way you get it." Fox whistled, impressed with Kei's Shinobi. Fox then sent out his Arwing, letting it materialize from his matter transmitter. "It must have cost you a lot to make that."

"No, actually most of it was free. Remember, my adventures started here in the junk yard. This baby was build by scrap metal. Ever since I made it, it's been my partner ever since." Kei explained, before opening the cockpit, and hopping inside.

"Wow. Slippy would love to meet you." Fox smirked, before he hopped into his own Arwing. "Testing communicators."

"Test complete. I hear you loud and clear Fox. Ready to begin, operation Pirate Raid." Kei replied through his communicator. "All systems are ready to go."

"Alright then, let's delay no longer." Fox turned on the power to his Arwing, as did Kei. Both of their jet engines made it's humming sound, as they powered themselves up. Soon, the jets begin to levitate off the ground for a few seconds, the engines humming louder as time passed.

"Raider team, move out!" Fox commanded, before both of the fighter jets blasted off into the sky. "Just you wait Falco and Wolf....I'm getting a step closer every day." Fox said in his mind, while they entered the endless wonders of space.
