First off I don't own any chars in Digimon Series, but I do own Sarah Revenant. I'm sorry it took me quite a while to finish this first side chapter. I also apologize if there are Grammar and Spell errors. I hope you enjoy the chapter

Side Chapter 1: From Mother's and Team's Sight

Sarah went to her room after talking to Al. Her room was almost the same as Al. The bed was large fit for two followed with a wooden trunk to place some of her belongings. A small desk table consists of mirror, make-ups and some jewelry. Of course there is a closet door like Al's room and a wooden drawer; to add things up she had a small shelf where she put some books, magazines, even some small figurines.

"Alright, it's time to hit the shower." Sarah went to the drawer to get clean under garments. She walk out of her room and headed toward the bathroom, but she stop at Al's room for a moment. Knowing that he would be asleep by now, she opened the door quietly to see his son sleeping soundly on his bed. Sarah was quite happy to see Al's face when he is asleep. She looked at the rest of his room. She saw the gift from the guest lying at the computer table. It was some sort of goggle set and some handheld like a cell phone. She focused on the bin and saw lots of plastic wrap ‘Must be the midnight snack last night, but why there's so many?' She focused at the floor and saw an extra mattress has been taken out, ‘An extra mattress? Was there a visitor that stayed last night? Come to think of it, wasn't the bread were too much for him?' She slowly closed the door and continues her task. ‘I should give fewer portions tomorrow.' She mumbles knowing that Al was eating too much last night.

Sarah entered the bathroom locking the door, put the clean garments near sink and started to undress herself. She turned on the shower with cold water for a moment, then dive herself in to the shower. She bowed her head for letting the water hit her back neck then she raised her head to let the water wash her face.

She took the soap bar and rubs it all around her slim body. After all her body was covered with soap bubbles, she rinsed it at the shower. She looked at her breast and slowly rubs it for measurement, ‘Many people that I knew told me that I'm still looked young or at least around 30, but my body tells me opposite. Well people can't be young forever as they said.' She turned around to rinse her back from soap. She looked at the drain and saw something weird. She bent down to look more closely at the drain. Among other hairs that stuck in the drain, there was a golden yellow hair which is definitely not her or her son's hair. ‘What the... a blonde hair, no wait it's a blonde fur. Did he bring an animal home?' She became more suspicious at her own son. ‘Is he hiding something from me? If it's a pet then I won't accept it.' She continued her doing until she is clear from soap, and then dried herself with her towel that hung at the hanger bathroom.

She wore the clean under garments and put all her dirty clothes in to the washing bin. She headed back to her room and starts to dress up for her work. After putting a dress for her work she moves toward the mirror and star to put on some make up. After everything is in place she looked at the digital alarm clock at the shelf and its seven past three. ‘Guess it's almost time for me to go.' Sarah picked up her purse and headed toward the entrance, locking the door and headed toward the bus stop.

At the buses stop stands three old ladies talking to each other about gossips or events that has been occur recently, but she paid no heed to any of those talks. A bus is approaching and makes a short stop at the buses stop where Sarah is standing, but two out of three ladies ride on the bus. The next seven minutes another bus is coming and this time Sarah ride on that bus leaving only the last lady to ride on her designated bus. She paid a dollar 40 at the entrance and find a spot for her to sit, but unfortunately none was vacant so she stood up until the next stop.

The bus itself took at least 25 minutes to the next stop and finally some passengers left the bus which gave some vacant seats for her to sit. In the bus everything went quiet except the sound of bus engine and rush hours. On the next stop she saw more passengers left and some entered the bus which will be crowded on the next stop. After taking several stops for load and unload the passengers, the bus became less crowded with some vacant seats. At the next stop she saw a passenger ride in to the bus. This passenger attracts some attention of other passengers including Sarah.

The passenger wears black pants, black coat, blue T-shirt, black army boots, gold imitation necklace, black sunglasses, and black bandana covering his long blonde hair. Upon his right shoulder hoist a case like a guitar case which makes Sarah think that he is a musician. He paid the fee and walk headed to the vacant seat, and again she paid no heed to him. When he passes her, she looked a glimpse of his handheld that hung on his belt. The color of the handheld was blue for a start. She then remembered Al's explanation about age play, and that is why she is still felt awkward if adult plays child games. The black dress passenger sat at the back of the bus and starts to pace out in to the window.

She sat patiently for her stop which happens to be two more stops from the last one. She descends the bus and headed to her work. Another minute or two the same black dress passenger also descends from the bus, but he went on an opposite direction she took. She remembered that there is a studio near her work, around two blocks from the bus stop but she didn't care about that. She quickens her pace to the bar she works. Within 10 minutes she arrives at the bar named ‘Eternal Haven' at precisely 04:45 pm.

The bar usually didn't open until 6:00 pm, but she saw some attendances preparing the bar. She knocked at the door and the attendances saw her then quickly rush to unlock the door and invite her in then lock it again. Sarah thanked the attendance that open the door then greet them after she is inside, "Hi guys, sorry I'm late."

The other attendance replied either with shaking their head or waving their hand telling her they don't mind. The manager behind the bar stand greet her as well, "No you are not, Sarah. You came just in time to help us all tidying up the bar."

"Alright, I'll be right with you after changing my outfit." The manager nodded and Sarah went straight to the locker. She change her outfit into average stewardess with white long T-shirt covered with red â€" black vest, a black tie and black skirt and start cleaning the bar with her co-workers.

At the time before Sarah left the house, the Destinies are on their way back home to Takato and Kari's apartment. On the road, they are discussing some small plans about when we will give some task or at least some invitation for Al to join a group inside the game or hanging around before duty calls. But their plans were delayed by Lopmon's announcement, "Everyone, the team that dive into the game need substitutes."

Rika looked at Lopmon's D â€" Server and asked, "Who is unable to dive into the game?"

"Joe can't join the game because he had a lot of patients; Matt had a schedule of band practice this noon for his upcoming concert; and Ken is at the station filing up some case reports and doing night shift."

"I forgot that he had an upcoming concert around summer in Japan," said Takato while driving Kari's car.

"Yeah, and he didn't gave us some spare tickets," replied Suzie chuckling.

Everyone chuckled as well and Kari replied Suzie's comment, "Come now, you know that Matt had a lot of fans back in Japan, and the tickets are sold out in less than two weeks."

"Yeah, and I heard from Daisuke that his sister spent a week sleeping at the ticket booth just to get one," said Yolei supporting Kari's reasons.

"I guess that we are lucky that the star is our friend," said Takato letting a small laugh. "That way, we don't need to see him on every concert." And all of them laugh. "So, I guess that our plans will be postponed until things are settle."

"Right, let's dashing to our home," said Kari and Takato press the gas pedal slowly increasing the car speed straight to the apartment. After a long hour they finally arrived at the apartment. Kari unlocked the door and invites all of them inside and starts preparing for their trip back home. Takato turn on the computer while Kari preparing some drinks for all of them waiting for the computer. They start the short meeting.

"Alright, who should fill the substitutes?" asked Yolei beginning the short meeting.

"Joe and Matt can digivolve Gomamon and Gabumon into ultimate form, and Ken can only digivolve Wormon into champion form. If I join the team, I should return when it's bed time because I have to go to work at the bakery tomorrow." Takato began the first debate.

"Same as me because I have school early tomorrow," Suzie added Takato's debate.

"Well since I'm the manager, I can come late to work," said Rika while folding her arm.

"Mine wasn't so bad since I can asked my brother to take my shift at the store," Yolei began to drink her share.

"Then it is decided. Hawkmon, Gatomon, Guilmon, and Renamon will join the game until the shift is over or at least they have finish their job ," said Kari closing the final statement.

By the time they finish the meeting, the computer is already operational. Yolei showed her D â€" Server to the computer and the screen started to flash. Yolei, Suzie and Rika waved good bye to Takato and Kari then they banish into the computer. After the computer stop flashing, Kari and Takato began their entries and start to log in.

Inside the game Gatomon and Guilmon arrives at the Capital City on File Island where the team that scout the game are waiting. The Capital was quite large enough to fit at least thousand various Digimons wandering come and go, buying supplies, even weapons and equipments for their own needs. After wandering around the city for a while, they found the team that assigns to scout the game. The team consists of Agumon, Palmon, Tentomon, Patamon, Armadillomon, and Kotemon. Guilmon and Gatomon greet them all especially to Patamon, Gatomon gave him a big welcoming hug with a small kiss in the lip.

"So, the substitutes were both of you?" asked Palmon after greeting Guilmon and Gatomon.

"Not quite, Palmon," replied Guilmon. "Hawkmon and Renamon will be joining soon."

"Four substitutes was way too much for us to scout the game," said Kotemon.

"You know what they say, the more the merrier," replied Armadillomon with a glee voice. "Speaking of more how is the boy? Did he join us?"

"Yes, he is. Although he might need our help in leveling up," replied Gatomon with a smile to Armadillomon.

"But who will assist him on leveling up, surely you know that we still have matters in our hand," said Tentomon with an India accent.

"How about we assign two of us to help him while the rest continue the search?" The team looked at the owner of that voice that gave the opinion. Renamon and Hawkmon approach them with a smile. "But first thing first, he needs some proper introduction from all of us if he wants to work with us."

"And when will that be if I may ask," asked Agumon passing his tamer's message.

"Not in the near future, for all I could tell," replied Gatomon. "He is a student you know." And thus all of them nodded slowly. "But at least we can contact them with D. Terminal and tell him when the first meeting will be held."

"That's settles it," said Agumon ending the small meeting. "Let's evolve into our highest form and spread out to look for any anomalies." All of the team agrees and simultaneously yelled, ‘DIGIVOLVE' changing their previous form into some different yet larger and stronger form. "Alright team, move out!" said Agumon which now turn into WarGreymon and thus they went into random direction.

Back at the real world, the Eternal Haven already filled with some customers that want to have some nice snacks and drinks. Sarah was quite relaxed when there aren't many customers but as they say ‘after the rain comes the storm' and the bar will be full in a couple of hour. The bar started to get crowded again thanks to several office worker celebrating either for succession of their company or one of them are having a birthday and he treated his co-workers. What's more is there are at least two or three group having the same celebration party and Sarah have to serve some drinks and snacks for them.

After serving at least five or six times, another customer came in and to Sarah surprise it was the same person that she met at the bus the black dress passenger. She approaches him with smile and greets him. "Good evening, sir. What would you like to order?" she asked and then hand him the menu.

The man looked at her and then realizes that she is the woman on the bus, "Well what do you know. It's a small world we live in. I never thought that you are the same woman that came down from the same bus. Anyway I would like some sandwich and a glass of Bradley for a start."

Sarah wrote the orders and replied, "Be right with you in a minute." Thus she went to the bartender and gave the order. The bartender passes the sandwich order to the kitchen and he start to prepare the Bradley. After about ten minutes of preparing the order, a plate of sandwiches and a glass of Bradley are finally ready to serve.

Sarah took the order and served it to the man in black dress. "Here is the order: one sandwich and a glass of Bradley. Please enjoy," said Sarah while putting the order on the table and then walk back to the bar table.

The first group left the bar all filled up and drunk leaving some mess for the attendance to clean it up. Sarah and other two attendances start to clean the table for the next customers. She looked the man again and he still sitting alone enjoying the Bradley. After cleaning the table another two customers enter the bar. One of them wears gray suits; and the other one wears brown pants, light blue shirt and black tie. They looked around for empty seats until their eyes made contacts to the man in black dress. Both of them approaches that man and greet him. He turned and started to smile telling Sarah that they were his close friends. She slowly approaches them and asked, "Would you like to take an order, sir?" She looked at them, one of them has a black long hair and the other one has a beard and moustache and wears rectangular glasses and both of them have the same handheld like the black dress.

The one that wears glasses start to ask, "Yes, are there any soft drinks in this bar, because all three of us want some."

The black dress man answered his question, "Yes they have, because I saw it when I ordered some drinks here. Three Pepmi, please." She wrote the order and then headed to the bar stand. She passes the order to the bartender and the bartender prepares the drinks. Within less than 10 minutes the drinks are ready to served, and Sarah took the drinks to them. She still felt a little uneasy about adult played teenager's games, and the black dress man didn't miss that part of her. "Why don't we all sit down and have a small talk together, Ms. Sarah?"

"Well, if you insist but I must ask my boss permission to take a break for a while." She replied after receiving a small shock and then she left and talk to the bartender. "Boss, may I take a short break because the customers want to talk a little." And the bartender nodded giving her the permission. Then she went back to the customer. "Alright, my boss gave me the permission and now what would you like to talk about."

"First of, allow me to introduce ourselves," said the man in black dress. "My name is Matt Ishida. As you can see I'm a musician. This two are my friends. The one in grey suits is Ken Ichijouji," the man in grey suit bowed his head. "And the one that wear glasses is Joe Kido," the other man fix his glasses and bowed as well.

Sarah bowed her head, "Well, as you can see from my tag, my name is Sarah Revenant and I'm a Mrs. Not Ms."

"I see, sorry for the status though. Anyway I see that you notice this thing on our waist. As you can guess that we also played that game, but it is for our stress relief from our works."

"From your works, if I may ask what are your works?"

Joe answered her question, "For starters, I'm a doctor and Ken work at the police station. We happen to be friends from the game."

"I see. My boy happens to play that game as well and be friend with adults and one of them is his teacher."

"You said that one of them is his teacher?" Ken asked for confirmation. Sarah answered him with a nod. Ken looked at the others making an eye contact then nod simultaneously.

"Is there something wrong?" Sarah asked seeing them nodded simultaneously like they know something.

"Nothing is wrong, Mrs. Revenant. It's just that we happen to know someone that had a job as a teacher."

Sarah nodded understand the problem then she asked again, "You are a musician right, Mr. Ishida. What kind of music that you played?"

"I played pop music with the rest of my group," answer Matt with calm and pride.

"Your group?" she asked quizzically.

"I'm forming a band group in my home town and I happen to finish my practice at the music store where they also hired me doing some test play."

"Wow, a band group in Japan? But why are you here in America?" asked Sarah in complete amaze.

"Let's just say I'm having a vacation for a week or two, away from the fans around Japan. That is why I choose here in Seattle, quite busy and no one knows about me except my friends."

"I see. Well if you don't mind that my break is over, I better get back to my work. Thanks for knowing you guys." She got up and went back to her work. The three Destinies went out after paying their drinks.

Finally about an hour later the bar is getting less crowded since the two groups left. Almost half of the attendances cleaned the tables. After the tables are cleaned the boss gave Sarah permission to get home early since it isn't her day work. The boss gave her some extra money for her hard work and she left. Since bus operation was ended she took a cab and told the driver his nearest address. The driver took her within an hour. The total fee 9.60 and Sarah pay it without any problem and left the cab. She walks a little feeling a little dizzy then headed to the house.

She took the key and opened the door. After she got in she closed the door and headed straight to the kitchen. She took a glass and fills it with water, and then she drank it. "Phew... what a day today is. So far I met eight people that played the game. I guess what Al said was true. Sometimes people played children's game for a stress relief. Maybe someday I tried to play it if Al can borrow his, that is."

She then headed to the couch and sat relaxing herself. She started to yawn, "Boy I feel so sleepy and I can't get my eyes open. But I forgot to lock the door, and my head start to hurt." She began to mumbling herself and slowly she dozes off on the couch.
