Brianna Stone. A strange case in the world of pokemon, but also a sad story. Bri is a gardevoir who has abandoned the pokemon life after embracing human lifestyle at a young age and made a life for herself among human society. She currently works as a bartender and baker at a bar and grill/pizzaria in Saffron City. She's somewhat of a hipster. Bri is very shy and quiet, but very witty and sharp-tongued whenever speaking. She's quite a nice girl if you're not a douchebag. Given the fact that gardevoirs tend to have a sharp stare and eye-structure, Bri suffers from a severe case of 'resting bitch face'. That, along with the fact she is often quiet, tends to give people she doesn't know the impression that she's intimidating, condescending or rude. That is far from the case, however.

Backstory: Since she was a Kirlia, she began showing more and more interest in human life style and began renouncing the 'battling' life. Her trainer, Dameon Stone could not for the life of him, persuade her to battle anymore, while she more and more opposed and despised being inside of a pokeball. Dameon was a traveling 14 year old pokemon trainer on his journey to become a pokemon master. His dream was to then, open up his own gym in his hometown, Saffron City. Dameon finally understood fully well that battling was not 'Bri's' thing, so he made a deal with her. 'If you can stick it out until you've reached your next evolution,' he told her, 'you will never battle again and heck, you might as well even trade an attack for speaking abilities'. This filled 'Bri' with much joy and motivation to at least get a little bit good at battling. After a year or two of semi-frequent battles won and lost, she finally reached her next evolution; gardevoir. She immediately sacrificed one of her 'useless' attacks to manifest speaking ability. She turned to Dameon and approached him. It's nice to talk to you, Dameon', she said in the most pristine, strern and beautiful voice. With that, he pulled 'Bri's' pokeball from his satchel and stomped it into pieces. 'Please stay with me.' Dameon said, 'you'll always have a place to sleep when we return home. We'll cook together and watch bad horror movies like we used to'. They awkwardly saw off the opponent that Dameon was facing and were on their merry way. After another year of traveling together, Bri had long since picked her own name, Brianna. Neither Dameon nor Bri can even recall what Dameon named her when he'd first got her. Neither one really cares to remember. She's simply Bri. Dameon eventually managed to cliam his 'pokemon master' title and him and Bri returned to Saffron City, where he lived with his mother. Dameon's mother, Esmeralda Stone, who was already acquainted with Bri, was happy to let her live there in the spare bedroom. A few years passed and Bri had already been working as a bartender and baker for a bar and grill/pizzaria. She wanted to contribute as much as possible to the household like a responsible person, if she was to fully embrace human-life. The bartender life quickly sharpened her social skills. With time, Dameon and Bri found themselves getting closer and closer. One drunken night together, one thing lead to the next and they 'got intimate'. The next morning, in utter hungover misery, they decided themselves, officially an item. With the help and financial support of his mother and Bri, Dameon finally purchased a building which he could transform to a gym. Once financially stable again, Dameon and Bri were able to move out together and rent an apartment. Dameon's gym did extremely well for about 8 months until his declining health led him to see a doctor. ...Leukemia. Dameon was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Bri, Dameon and Esmeralda were unsure if Dameon was going to make it. Taking no chances, Dameon and Bri decided to pronounce them selves husband and wife. They decided not to get legally married since Dameon and Esmeralda didn't want Medical debt to fall onto Bri if the worst happened. Which it did, as the leukemia had eventually progressed to CLL. In was a cold October evening that Dameon passed away. A depressed and grieving Bri continued to work as a bartender and gave every extra bit of money to Dameon's medical bills. Esmeralda and Bri eventually had them payed off. Luckily, Dameon, with the possibility of dying in mind, had chosen a successor to his gym leadership, while Esmeralda kept ownership of the property itself. The new gym leader seemed to be doing just fine whenever Bri or Esmeralda came to visit her. Since Dameon's death, Bri found herself unable to be in a relationship with anyone else; only the semi-occasional one-night-stand, after of course she was finally able to adjust to and return to her life. and at least pretend to be happy.
