Wings

The clouds parted, and the sounds of the city echoed up to the high spires of rock. In the bustling streets, the citizens traded, worked and journeyed, while the mountainside farms delivered their bounty to the marketplaces.

The air was cold and clear, the sun dazzling, and the twin peaks that reared over the city of Tehkara cast looming shadows, deep and icy. Frost was thick on the ground, for even in the warmest weather, the city was always gripped by ice.

From the northern wall, which overlooked the steeper slope of the mountain, between the two peaks, the view was breathtaking. Looking out, one could see for hundreds of miles, to the far off coast, hazy with distance.

Below that high wall, a tall figure; a bird, walks with a spring in her step. The cold stone beneath her feet is refreshing, and a rendezvous which she has long looked forward to lies ahead of her.

Turning, the eagle strolls down a thin street, ignoring the loud cries of the salesmen and the stallwomen. As she looks up, the sky is a bright blue, wispy clouds drifting far above. She sighed, smiling.

Onward she wandered. The mountainsides re-echo to the sound of some far off snowslide, packed ice disturbed by the rising sun that beats down, melting the frost. The balustrades of the thick walled houses were hung with bunting, for the summer festival was close at hand.

Turning onto her home street, she jogged up to the steps of her thick-set abode, the tall log walls brooding above her. Opening the door, she exchanged warm greetings with her family. She embraced her father, who stood mending a belt, and he smiled, bidding her have a good day. She picked up a leather band from her small desk, tying her head feathers back into a single severe tuft.

The open room of the house was crowded that morning, friends and relatives were helping her mother prepare for the festival, and the kitchen was loud with talk. Smoke drifted up from the oven, filling the chimney. The wood of the walls had grown warm from the thick crowd.

There were no internal walls or dividers, the thick logs that closed off the elements outside were black with years of smoke, and the high ceiling was hung with meats and baskets, ready for the forthcoming meals.

Her mother pressed her to stay and eat with them, but she made excuses, nothing in the world was going to stop her from attending her meeting with the creature she had courted for months. She closed the thick wooden door behind her, and beamed as she hurried down the steps to the street again.

It was a lengthy journey to the south edge of the city. Her lodgings were nestled beneath the north wall, and she would stroll through the parks at the heart of Tehkara. She loved the festival decorations, so looked forward to that leg of the trip.

It took her an hour, crossing the busy markets, and cutting through the streets of the shoemakers, thick with the stench of leather. The parks were beautiful, as she strolled under the hardy trees, and across the ornate stone paths she let the scent of the flowers drift about her; the paper lanterns hung thickly, people enjoying the garden atmosphere called out in greeting and she replied, smiling.

She paced over the crisp grass, the sun was well up now, and she splayed her feathers, cooling herself. The wind picked up, whistling icy cold through the park, and she closed her plumage again, the bracing breeze easily enough to keep her cool.

She left the parks, looking back with a happy gaze at the wooden platforms clustered with flower-wreathed tables. Now she had come into the prettier side of the city, the noble's houses, and the estates of the artisan elite.

Rather than wooden houses built of giant logs, these were all of stone, spaced with rich birch and mountain pine. They sparkled, polished façades reflecting the powerful sun. There was far more ostentation in evidence, thick drapes in some windows, scented smoke drifting from some chimneys; exotic applewood and cedar.

Three human academics clustered, in an animated discussion; on the corner of a street. One, thickly bearded and wrapped in an expensive looking fur, raised his hand melodramatically and in a foreign voice thundered,

"We cannot hope to understand the cliffs if we do not use the lift on the field, understand me? I will have none of your laboratories!" She slowed to watch them, her education had been sparse, but she loved to hear the sort of talk scientists indulged in. Another fellow, olive skinned and short, replied in the native tone of voice.

"You're a damned fool Doherty! This isn't your country you know, you can't go tearing up our mountains for god's sake! You'll take the lab-findings or go hang." The olive skinned man stalked off, face bitter. The bearded one watched him go, shaking his head.

Then she turned the corner, and they were gone. She was approaching the south wall, coming into the military district. The reservist's barracks and homes were here, the eastern edge of the army's influence in the city. She crossed a tidy road, full of parading troops, and walked quietly into a small square, through a thing gap in between two houses.

The square was shaded by the houses all around it, and still frosty. It was quiet, sheltered and cold. She didn't feel the chill, she was long used to it, and experimentally she flapped her wings, lifting a foot or so from the old, lichen covered cobbles of the square.

She dropped again, the square was empty, and she felt a little unease at her belly, he would never have forgotten, surely? There was a pitted bronze statue in the centre of the stones; a hard-set fox with thickly muscled arms, holding aloft a spear. His face was unrecognisable, weathered away by the winters.

She waited, leaning against the cold metal, tapping her talons on the stones, chewing her tongue between the halves of her black beak. She clicked in impatience, her tied tuft flexing.

Finally, she heard familiar footsteps from an entrance to the secluded square, and turned grinning. The familiar tall dragon walked quickly into the space, seeing her and smiling. He was breathing heavily, and walked forward, embracing her.

They enjoyed each other's arms and warmth, his scales were smooth, black and reflecting the light. He kissed her softly, on the lips, and purred. She crooned into the kiss as she smelt his alluring musk, that gentle scent of maleness clinging to him.

"I'm sorry, Ithia. I got held up by the big guy, I didn't want to be late." She made a sympathetic croon and kissed his neck.

"Don't worry. I didn't get too cold. Are we ready to go then?" She stamped her feet, swinging her arms and making mock running gestures. She was eager to join him, and escape the busyness of the city. The mountain beckoned.

The dragon smiled, relieved, and clapped his hands together, spreading his wings with a sharp crack, their black lengths blocking out the sun. Ithia extended her own feathered wings, ruffling them, and giggled.

"If you are, I am girl!" He made and over exaggerated bow and gestured grandly at the sky, raising his brow conspiratorially. "Shall we fly, my love?"

"Horkan, you always were a romantic fool." She winked, grinning at his false expression of sadness, and jumped, pushing for the air. He flapped his wings with a thunderous boom, and together, in a cloud of ice they rose above the rooftops, gaining height.

She whooped and began to push forward, feeling the heat rising from the rooftops, pushing her higher. Below, the odd soldier looked up, exclaiming. Horkan was right below her, he looked up smiling, and she blew him a kiss.

The city roofs rushed beneath them, and they thrust hard for more height, rising ever further. The streets spread out beneath them, now faces were barely recognisable, now the glare from the tiles made seeing individual humans or creatures hard.

Together they found a true thermal and began to spiral up. Their wing beats ceased, and all was silence, the eerie echoes of the people going about their day rising to greet them on the warm air. For hundreds of miles, the mountains rolled down to the sea, and all was crystal.

"You were right, we don't get up here enough. I'd forgotten how beautiful it is." She spoke softly to him, and he nodded solemnly. They watched the high walls recede, merging with the ground of the city itself. The air was empty, not another soul in sight.

Horkan flapped gently to Ithia, and extended his neck, to plant a kiss upon the back of her feathered spine. She smiled at him, and they linked hands as they flew. The city was no longer beneath them, as they continued to ride the winds; they were carried above the western peak.

Its powerful stony silence reared above them, despite their height. Ithia craned her neck to see its tip, and pointed with a talon. Horkan looked, and saw as a chunk of ice fell into space, before crashing into shards on the slopes below. Some time later, the ring of it reached them, like a struck gong.

They rose further, silently watching the world. Now the curvature of the globe could be seen, and the air, thinner here, would have been nothing like enough to support any mortal animal. Horkan filled Ithia's lungs with his own magics, sustaining her in the heavenly vault.

She dived, suddenly, at a steep angle, letting her frame fall like an arrow through the air, screaming in her ears. Horkan laughed merrily and followed her, falling faster, propelling himself through mystical means.

They levelled out, close to the lower slopes of that western peak, and circled slowly. Ithia's eyes wandered slowly over the mountainside, sharp as diamonds thanks to her ancestry.

"This is so peaceful. We need to do it more, Ithia. Look at the city, it looks tiny from here. We must have dived hundreds of metres, and we're still way up." He curled his tail for a moment, flapping his wings, spinning in the opposite direction to his love.

"We could even come-" His voice was cut off as Ithia let out a piercing shriek, and pointed to the cliffs to the side of them. A mountain goat had appeared, walking over the treacherous rocks, and like a knife she dived once more, toward it.

He chuckled, and followed again. He let her reach the creature first, Ithia was a born hunter, a mastery of her art belonged to her that no other mortal he had met possessed. To have aided himself would have spoiled things.

He watched her beautiful form fly. The goat ran in panic, stumbling over the rocks, for a few seconds, before she was on it. She seized the creature in her feet, and with a deft tug tore its head from its shoulders, ceasing its bleating.

She dropped the skull, and lifted the carcass to her hand, dropping to a rock, perching and folding her wings. Horkan landed beside her and chuckled, sticking his tongue out in jest, his unstoppable frame cracking the stone.

"You know, you didn't have to kill it, I could have gotten us food. It's a bit barbaric, don't you think?" He grinned; her hunts were a regular sport for his teasing, though he enjoyed them equally as much as she did.

She shrugged, winking at him. "Ah well, prey is always on the menu." She broke open it's ribcage with a sharp grip, and gutted it rapidly, clean neat strokes getting a minimum of blood upon her plumage.

She sat, crossed her legs and lifted a steaming liver from the stripped body, tearing it in half and tossing a part to Horkan. He caught it, and popped it into his mouth, chewing hungrily, swallowing.

He sat with her, and they finished the goat; he seared its flesh with tongues of flame, though the offal they ate raw. Beneath them, it seemed the entire world was spread. They were perched over a precipice; the city was so steeply below that they had to peer right over the edge. To the north and north east was the sea, to the south the plains and the tundra.

She tossed a rock from the edge, but they never heard the retort of its landing. Horkan rested his giant head lightly upon her shoulder and she smiled, kissing his horns alternatively. They dozed for a while, curled in each other's embraces, watching the clouds dance.

The sleep was calm and gentle, Ithia breathed deeply as Horkan continued to probe the sky around them, even in sleep he was always watchful, and his presence was far reaching. But there was nothing, not a bird, be it feral or fur, and no climber of any kind.

Horkan woke first, the day was freezing at their altitude, despite the beating sun, and ice was thick on the ground. He stretched, kissing the avian in his arms, and smiled at the awe inspiring vista. He woke her with a gentle nibble at her ear.

"Mmm... Hey there. Want to go higher?" Ithia yawned and sat up, shaking herself and staring at the peak far above. She nodded.

"Do you think we can get to the top?" Her voice was pleasant and calm, at peace in the arms of the dragon at her back. He huffed a gout of flame into the air, which they watched passively.

"Of course. We should go now; we've slept for an hour or so." The dragon did not even need to glance at the sun, the time of day was etched into his mind. He stretched, and gently pulled Ithia to her feet, kissing her neck. She stretched her wings, and jumped, powering away. He followed, and they flew at a stately pace.

The world sparkled at their feet as they rose throughout the day. It was a leisurely ascent, and they walked as they continued to climb, higher. Ithia asked Horkan how his apprenticeship continued, he was full of praise for his tutors and still gleeful in the new skills he had learnt.

"Look at that." Ithia pointed to a crag on the now thin spire beside them. A bridge of scintillating ice linked two pinnacles of stone, and a torrent of ice seemed to fall from it eternally, shard after shard spiralling down to the rocks hundreds of metres below.

Horkan smiled. "It's incredible. I love these mountains, they're full of unseen sights, and so peaceful from the city." She smiled at him, and for a while she let him bear her up, holding her in his arms, as they kissed passionately, while his mighty wings beat.

They continued the embrace for some time, murring with delight, the dragon's tail swishing through the ether. The rock beside them was growing ever more insubstantial, the summit loomed, only a short distance above.

Finally, he broke the kiss and nodded at the top. They gazed together, and for a moment they parted, to fly individually to that crag. He landed first, long talons grasping a bar of stone, peering down at the inconceivable fall below. She folded her wings behind him, standing on a plateau perhaps five metres across, created by the wind.

The wind was incredible, strong enough to tear clothes from your body, but Horkan negated it passively even as he filled Ithia's lungs with life, guiding the buffets around the pair, creating a calm space for his beloved one.

She sat for a while, scratching her family initials into the rock with a sharp talon, humming a song gently, and smiling around her at the beauty of their perch. From that high roost, they could see for unending leagues in every direction, save where the twin peak to their east sat level with them.

Meanwhile, Horkan concentrated on creatures thousands of metres below, tiny animals crawling on rocks in warmer valleys, clear to his sharp blue eye. He blew gently from his lips, and saw a small lizard fly from its seat, tumbling into the brush around it, a world away from his high throne. He smiled, pleased.

She rose, and walked to him, holding his waist from behind, feeling his tail against her belly. He smiled, turning back his head, and she grinned, and nipped his tail base with her sharp beak.

"I'll teach you for that!" He grinned back at her, showing his fangs, and pounced upon her, pinning her gently to the rocks below him. His enormous weight was held above her, resting on his scaled knees.

"Eep, won't someone help a helpless maiden?" She cried out, throwing a hand to her head and rolling her eyes. He chuckled and kissed her deeply. She wrapped arms around his thick neck and they purred into each other's maws, locking tongues and squirming on the stone.

He panted as he pulled away, eyes sparkling. He growled and nipped her neck with his huge jaws, teasingly.

"No one's going to help you, you're all mine." He let out an amorous purr and with a click of his tongue she saw her clothes fall from her, each seam unpicking itself, her flight dressage tattering away in ruin. She squealed, and bit his hand, grinning as she drew a little blood.

"My clothes! All at the mercy of this ravaging dragon?" She affected a sweet little maid's voice and pouted, the effect spoiled by the drop of blood on her beak. He winced and growled louder.

Ithia felt her slit moisten as the dragon's musk poured over her in a thick wave. She moaned, eyes rolling, his scent was not mere pheromones, and its effect was electric. She panted, her nipples hardening, and stroked his chest. "Come on then lizard, show me a good time." Her voice was husky.

Horkan purred in approval, and he stood up, releasing her from their playful wrestling as his armoured plates opened with a loud snap. From the space, two points of ebony emerged, swelling.

The twin cocks hardened and lengthened; their veined skin was dry and hot, and pre dribbled from their tips. The larger shaft rested at the base of his slit, and the smaller above it. His longer meat was nigh two feet, the shorter closer to one. Both were thick, more than a handful for Ithia, and he grinned, purring.

The eagle rose to her feet, and brushed her hips seductively against his thighs, his pre smearing on her belly feathers. She licked his nipples, causing him to growl happily, and with one hand tended to each shaft, stroking them up and down.

He purred, hands on his hips, his tail swishing the rock as she pawed him off. For minutes she continued the rhythms, licking his chest and gripping his cocks, feeling him sweat and shudder.

She saw his body quiver massively and knew his seed was coming; she intensified her stroking on one cock, and with the other hand began to fondle her own breasts. She groaned happily, and with a shout of pleasure Horkan began to cum.

A jet burst from each tip, spraying over her chest and neck, and splashing back tackily onto his scales. The lower shaft fired his true seed, thick and white, while the top was his pleasure fluid, an immensely sticky clear liquid designed to pump partners full of lubrication and, through its load of endorphins, bliss.

Ithia giggled and licked a strand from her breast with a sultry talon. Horkan breathed heavy, flushed with his scales warm from exertion. His shafts quivered and drooled a last line of ejaculate down their undersides and he leant forward, kissing Ithia.

The eagle crooned into his tongue, and as she broke the kiss, she nibbled on his chin gently, a rolling clicking emanating from her throat as her passions rose. Horkan grasped her sides and laid her down on a rock, her dripping breasts proud from her feathered body. He dropped to his knees and put hands to her calves.

She purred happily as he lifted her legs over his immense shoulders, his chest muscles bulging and flexing. He shuffled forward, and gently began to probe at her sex with a claw, holding her on her back, ass up in the air.

The eagle moaned as she was fingered, his talon slipped around her wet entrance before it slipped inside and reached deep, hooking round to caress her g-spot. She groaned louder as his thumb-claw touched her clitoris, her breaths shallow and her nipples hard as ice.

"Having fun? You're wet enough for it." The dragon spoke with a grin on his lips, his talon bringing forth wet slurps.

The two black cocks hung over her, and he pulled his talons free gently, then probed them into her puckered ring below, as Ithia reached up and began to fondle her breasts, her beak open, steam rushing into the cold air.

"Fuck yes... aahh... make me cum!" Ithia spoke with a lustful edge to her voice, her engorged clit throbbing, eager to taste his shafts.

He began to tease her entrance, rubbing the underside of his lower shaft over her soaked labia, while he removed his claw, sucked it rapidly, and slid it wet, back into her rear; deeper into her ass this time. The eagle's spine arched and she began to scream, her cry cutting the mountainside.

She came, clenching tight around his finger, her wetness and heat only rising, and smiled happily up at him, bucking her hips. She was well and truly soaked, and not willing to wait for him to play around further.

Horkan put a hand to his lower shaft, and gently he entered her sex, the smaller of his lengths pressing her lips open. She let out a happy murr, and he pushed further, six inches into her. He pulled back gently, his lubricant making the passage easy, then he hilted in a slow steady motion, his hips bumping hers.

"Oh gods... ghh...damn it... keep going." Her voice was strained and raw; she bucked against his meat, eager for more. Horkan purred and rolled his hips in a steady thrust, slipping in and out, his thick length swelling her out. Ithia hissed in ecstasy and sweated freely.

He kept the pace up, strokes long and steady, making the eagle's breasts jiggle with each pump of his immense muscles. He looked at his long, free upper shaft, and groaned in guttural joy, ready to increase things. He ceased his thrusts, Ithia looked up quizzically.

"Ithia, can I... can I use both of my tools? I think we're ready to try." The eagle chewed her tongue, panting as she lay on the rock, and then nodded. They had never before managed to get his gargantuan higher length inside of her, and she blew out, relaxing herself.

"OK... Tell me if it hurts and I'll stop. Here goes." He pulled free from her sex, and her spine arched as she gripped the rock, nearly climaxing. She moaned loudly.

"Put it in me. Go on." Her voice was needy; she wanted to cum and needed to taste his real seed.

With no more words, Horkan shifted, aiming his hips downward. He pressed with a grunt, and his huge dragoncock spread her lips wider than before, making Ithia gasp. He slowly entered her, a few inches, both of them groaning, his hands resting on the rock, talons gouging channels.

"Don't slow up! Fill me Horkan!" She fondled her breasts frantically. The dragon tensed his black frame, and shoved. A foot of his cock pressed into her sex, and she let out a tiny shriek, hissing. He stopped, and she shook her head, clicking her beak, demanding more.

For a second, he considered doing so, but realised he was never going to get further in this position. He needed more angle. He pulled free; making her beat her fists in anger, then picked her up, roughly turning her over onto her knees. She grunted and pressed her ass back at his crotch.

"Shit Ithia, calm it, I'm going already!" He pressed forward, and his length found purchase in her ass, stretching it open massively. She screamed, falling to her elbows, head down, and shivered.

"Fuck, it hurts! Agghh... careful!" Her voice was pained, as he popped his head into her ring, opening it wide. Her long fascination with size meant she was used to sizeable entries, but Horkan was something different.

"Sorry hun, you'll get used to it.... ggghh..." He shunted, and his cock pushed an entire foot into her ass, making her yell out, as he hit the normal limits of her rear. He rolled his hips back, and pushed further, his lower cock pushed into her sex and she growled in pleasure.

"Fuck me, damn it... ahhh!" He pushed harder and both his cocks were inside. With a rough slam, he spread her ass to breaking point, her pussy stretching more manageably. He grunted, slipped back, thrusted again, purring in pleasure, spitting fire to the skies.

The eagle brayed and came, clamping on his cocks. As she shuddered in the second wave of her orgasm he pushed, pulling her onto him, and finally, gloriously he hilted inside her, spearing her. His cock was clearly defined, pressing her belly outward, and her organs were bumped aside.

The three feet of throbbing flesh started to thrust in and out, he set a heavy speed, making her moan, and him pant in ecstasy. He breathed smoke thickly, eager to fill her with seed. His giant cocks were spraying her insides with pre heavily, and he upped the pace.

Ithia was in heaven, she came again, her eyelids fluttering as she was impaled on the enormous lengths, pinned to the rock by them. She held on, clenching and releasing, ready for a filling.

Horkan growled first, and then he shouted with a snap of his jaws. He gave a final giant shove, hilting, and roared to the skies, as the eagle under him screamed in the next rush of her current climax.

With a lewd spurt, he threw cum into her. His lower shaft filled her womb with his pleasure-cum, making her orgasm explode onto a new level, and she blacked out for a second in the grip of the unending climax.

A second later, his true seed was blasted into her ass. The cock was already well inside her, and he rushed his magic to bear, his cum would tear her intestines apart else. As he reinforced their walls, his thick load was channelled into her stomach.

Protecting that too, the pressure of his giant load had only one way to go, and as she opened her beak in an ecstatic cry, Ithia's eyes burst open in surprise as his dragoncum gushed into her throat and was spurted across the rock in front of her.

Their orgasms continued for close to twenty seconds, throwing jet after jet, and as it finished, they both fell forward, him slipping out of her, the both of them utterly exhausted. The volume of cum that had been sprayed out of Ithia's mouth was huge, and they slopped into a pool of the stuff, more of it pouring in a torrent from both of her lower holes.

They lay there, in sexual fatigue for an hour or so, grins on their faces, white with seed in many places. Slowly, Ithia awoke, the smell of his marking tickling her to wakefulness. She licked her vision clear of cum.

"Okaaaay, Horkan. Way to go explosive." The dragon stirred from his stupor, and sat up, shaking seed from his chin.

"Wha...hnnf?" He stretched and looked down. "Oh, sorry." He grinned, the apology sounded not in the least bit sincere. "You were amazing, Ithia. We have to do this again." She giggled and licked a rope of cum from his belly.

"I can agree with that. Now, are you going to clean me up, I think people could get a little suspicious." She embraced him, and with a click of his tongue the seed froze around the both of them and splintered away, falling neatly to the ground.

"That's better than a flag marking, any day." He looked at the preposterous amounts of his seed frozen on the rock. "Our mountain peak now." He grinned and kissed her gently, and with no more speech, they hurled themselves from the stone, into space, diving towards home.

In the city of Tehkara, among all its denizens, avian or otherwise, only two had mastered the blessing of flight. What a godlike joy it was, to be Winged.
