Y-knot...
Lost in thought this morning...so I wrote a bit of it down...
Y-knot...
Do you truly believe in fate?.... I never have, I've never wanted it to end at a heavenly or hellish gate...
It leaves no peace of mind
To have lived in such a way, in fear each day, to feel you have to be rude or kind...
If all was needed to end it all with a smile
It would be fake to me, worthless to live that life, a prisoner of possibility all the while...
For those who need such a dream, I was slowly on tiptoes around their delusions
To simply let them go the way they believe, the way they apparently know, I respect enough their intrusions...
If they stumble or fall, I help if I see fit
If they try to deny me my mentality, I politely suggest they quit
As I do to them, I keep their best intentions in mind
I remind them, an opinion is an opinion, you can be mean trying to be kind
Ignorance a room with no doors
You need only to look down, & remember, it always has glass floors...
The view points left to the moments you share
All can be misunderstood with a single stare
Time not a friend to those who claim without fail to know...
Never end up, the pinnacle of perfect thought with what they show...
If all fails, then another will blindly walk, eyes closed, & claim to still see
As we have thoughts all our own, & share how we care, with clarity, if you so choose, you may kindly agree
If not, don't take it to heart...
Like so many others, possibility, can be, in doubt from the very start.
What you stand for, good, in a world where none needs to exist
I tenderly show, for all I know, a kind, forceful if needed, clenched fist
Only meant for the actions of others to be considerate
I show, if need be, I'll happily try my best to test, & stop another's so called fate...
Pushed onto others, it's no longer choice
It's a quiet riot, filled with a silent screaming voice
When words only go far enough to cause emotions of thoughts never considered before
Hands held at the ready, if calm & steady, give light to something more...
Again, this is all just so you know
If you to try to change me, by all means, let your reasoning flow
A stubborn log at a water fall, wedged by the edge, not willing to give way
I personally, firmly hold my heart in hand, till theirs nothing left to say...
If you give love & nothings given in return for such emotion
Remember, it was your decision, to move on such a notion...
We give no doubt with eyes beyond the sky...
We forget at times, others can, all the same, ask why...
(Forgive me for my rambles about life & things I may not know)
(For me, the words come freely, & help me show how I can still grow)
