--

One Cold December Moon,

Apon the winter solstice.

I listened to the cry of a loon,

Wrapped up in my solace.

Emotions flooded my mind unseen,

To thoughts and ideas I was keen.

To forge a path through the forest.

To lie the the rut, forevermore.

This night I play my silver chorus,

My soul has been irrevocably tore.

I see the hatred I have sown,

I see the hippocracy I now condone.

How could a god love all his creatures,

Yet leave no room for me?

A book is based on what it features,

Yet what that means, we shall see.

We're all meant to love each other,

Sister to sister, brother to brother.

I shall fix what I have broken,

Teach some lessons yet forgotten.

Leave some soul with a loving token,

Lest this world turn further rotten.

Go now my friends, leave with word,

Only with us, shall this message be heard.

Go not one step back,

Lest our lives fade to black.

Such a simple message, forgotten from youth;

Onwards! Onwards! Come on! Forsooth!

Judge us by our books, and not by our cover,

Judge us by our paintings, and not by our color.

This message we bear, burdened by thought,

But not until death shall our minds ever rot!

Forever shall we listen to that magical loon,

All this thought, One Cold December Moon.
